Okay spot
I went here for brunch because I've been to some of the other restaurants and I've had great experiences. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. Food: The food was a decent size but tasted pretty average for the prices we were paying. Service: Atrocious. No one came and checked on us and if we tried to flag someone down they acted as if we were causing them inconvenience. Price: Everything was over priced especially considering what we were getting for it. I paid $50 for tea and a pizza. Ambiance: The one positive thing about the restaurant is it's ambiance. It's really cool decor and I love all the different designs. Clearly a lot of though was putting into decorating this restaurant.

Everything was so salty that we couldn't eat any of it. They did let us exchange one of our dishes but the replacement was also terrible. We definitely won't go back.

Great food. Decent service. Busy, buzzing atmosphere. The calamari and pizza were fantastic. Very busy for a Monday so definitely book.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, good service, but pricey.
Delicious food, good service, but pricey. We ordered the restaurant week 3 course menu, the salad was meager, main course was battered fish & chips, was very tasty, bottle of rose wine for 72 dollars was the second cheapest on the menu, was nice and dry with strawberry in the mouth. Dessert was very rich, too much for me alone. I understand that people here also share dishes, but there were not enough starters and main courses for that.

Decent lunch spot. Very busy, service was ok. Food was good. Not sure worth a trip there. Go if you are in that area.

Great experience! :) We ordered two wholemeal pizzas (loved the dough - and very rare to find wholemeal pizza), fries and broccoli (which was so yummy!). Our waitress was very friendly too. I’d come here again. :)

A delicious dining experience. I went with a group and we ordered a lot of food and each dish was amazing. Started with the ginger margarita, so good. Our favorite dishes of the evening were the housemade stracciaella, black truffle pizza and roasted duck. The caramel popcorn sundae hit the spot!

Lovely place with lovely staff! Our Thanksgiving dinner here was fabulous because of the friendly and efficient staff who always tended to our needs. The Thanksgiving menu selection had amazing selections that we all liked. Super delicious!
Be the first to ReplyCasual yet chic restaurant
Jean-Georges' casual yet chic restaurant features amazing Mediterranean dishes, balanced cocktails, and impressive ambiance. The crab toast and brick oven pizza are amazing. And there is even a tree in the dining room for extra special flare!
Be the first to ReplyFood very good but the experience was average
We went for dinner. The server was grumpy and then seemed to get swapped out for another, who was overly effusive. We didn’t see anything on the menu for starters that we fancied so we went straight to mains. We had the cheeseburger and it was very very good. I know it’s only a burger but it was a very well executed burger! The chips were also really tasty. We didn’t like the fact the tables were so close together that you could hear the next tables intimate conversation. It was also very noisy so they were shouting! Not sure we’d go back but the food was nice.
Be the first to ReplyNot what is was.....
We were disappointed in all of it. We have been coming here once or twice a year fir lunch for many years. It used to be top notch. The prices are still very high. the attitude is till very high and the place its beautiful. But, but, but, the food was mediocre; the service nonchalant; $157 for 3 lunches without the tip----or taste.

We loved everything. We had a fish that night. Everyone's meal was perfect. Staff was great - we had Misha (sp) and was delightful. Reservations a must.

Came here years ago and LOVED IT. Sad when things are not as you remember them. Food was jus ok, and service was meh. To be fair, the place was jammed. Some plates were better than others, but overall, I hyped it to a bunch of friends, and they were disappointed. I feel shame.

ABC Kitchen is a member of the Jean George/ Phil Suarez group of restaurants. Its sister venues, ABC Cocina and ABC V are next door. These places are separate concepts with separate menus. Location is just north of Union Square. Service is professional. Food is very good. Hard to get a bad dish. I would call the mood casually elegant. It is fine dining, but relaxed. The large front room can get very noisy. I prefer the back room, especially if you want to have discussions.

Too crowded
We were sitting in the bar.. the bartenderlady was very nice

The ice cream was perfect
I loved it the most
The Sundae
Let me begin with the food. There were 3 of us so we tried many different things. We were not disappointed in any of our choices. We started with Crab toast, salads, then for entrees Tuna and broccoli, Fried Chicken, & truffle pizza. For desert we ordered the Carmel corn sundae and cookie plate. While the cookies were fabulous, that sundae was a work of art and possibly the best dessert ever. The waitress , Azalea and other servers were wonderful. They all seemed so happy to be serving us and we felt special.

Excellent position
CONS
Food was so so and wine list was expansive
We thought it was awesome, we found out as on average
Such a pretty evening ambiance and vibe
Such a beautiful ambience and attention to detail in serving natural and delicious food. Great cocktails too. Definitely go back.
Be the first to ReplyGood good and Atmosphere, Staffing Off
The food was good. The atmosphere was nice. The staff was off the night we were there. Possibly affected by Covid staffing shortage or training new people? We had 5pm reservation. Tables were all empty and set when we arrived on time. The hostess told us twice they were setting up our table, which we could clearly see was already done. The female bartender was great and we ordered drinks while we waited for our table. Took a long time for someone to come take our order. The food was good. Cheeseboard, Burger, fried chicken and ravioli were great!
Be the first to ReplyNot Good...rude staff and salty food
We went there with a party of five and the experience was just not good, though quit expensive. The starters were ok although the taste was already a bit too salted (especially the bread that came with the burrata). It went wrong with the main courses. The Fried Chicken was so hot that I could not taste any wine anymore. When I wanted to send it back the waiter almost yelled at me 'the menu says hot butter'. It did not say burning butter though. She changed the main course into the burger. This was ok but the fries were over salted. My sun made the mistake to continue with the chicken and was just sweating the rest of the night. Just uneatable. My wife's spinach pizza was so salty that she left it all. The waiter did not ask if we liked it, or if we were satisfied (although she must have seen that half of the food was left). . Her service was unfriendly anyway. We decided to leave and I left a reduced tip. The waiter came behind me to complain about it...
I should not have left any tip. Never again. Please avoid this place. 700 dollars waited for a bad meal.
Great place for a group party
We ordered a prefix menu for a group of 20 for a birthday. The appetizers of the bread (nothing spectacular) and Stracciatella was good. The tuna was good for the meat eaters. The egg truffle pizza was the best with a thin crust. Spinach pizza was average. Everyone was full with just these and did not have space for the mushroom salad entree, and the ravioli. The carrot salad had a lot of cumin and curry and was like south Indian soup flavor of Rasam (it was good) and the small carrots were juicy with flavor. The dessert ice cream with caramel popcorn was the best. Chocolate Cake was a bit dry for me but I had a very high bar per se dessert the previous day which skewed my taste buds. Overall such a fun vibe and lovely place with a casual decor.

The Ambiance and food is incredible. Definitely share the truffle pizza. I had the roasted lobster which was tender and had a spicy kick to it
Be the first to ReplyVery disappointed
The service was absolutely awful, they spilt water multiple times and we waited 2 hours for our appetizers to come. So we have just decided to pay the check and leave. Just not good enough fully disappointed.
