We visit this restaurant every time we visit Rome, usually multiple times every trip! It’s always wonderful! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We love 34! We will be back again! Our favorite is the classic lasagna!

Really nice place, very busy but excellent service and delicious food, the sweetbreads were fabulous! I usually research everywhere that I go but we just liked the menu and took a chance on this place, couldn't fault it to be honest.
When in Rome… eat where the Romans eat
This is a great spot for a casual and delicious dinner. It is within walking distance of the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Reservations are recommended.

What can I say about this place to add to the other great reviews? The food, atmosphere, and our waiter (wish I had gotten his name) were such a treat... so accommodating, so lovely and our steak for two was exceptional. Can't wait for our return.

Maybe the best restaurant in Roma. Amazing food, amazing service. In other words perfect and amazing. THE place to be. The place is just a step from piazza di Spagna, but here the crowdy tourists don't go.

Food was excellent- large portions, delicious, and served quickly. Highly recommend the artichoke appetizer- we saw several other tables eating it at the same time as us!

Let's start with the one thing they had right, food was ok.
It takes for ever to get it 45 min while if you are local 10 minute, favoritism; absolutely. The waiting time to be sited 25 minutes, if you are local 2 minutes. Service is so bad, if you are a tourist go elsewhere; better food and better service.
Food is wonderful.
Wine is good. The wait staff very nice. I come here a lot when I am in Roma. I like sitting outside whenever possible. Not far from Spanish Steps but not too close. 34 is my go to when in Roma.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Al 34 Roma at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Al 34 Roma page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at Al 34 Roma to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, BraveCloth47 receives the $200 reward which is credited to BraveCloth47's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Al 34 Roma!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
