Difficult to find the entrance at first as you need to enter kind from the backyard. Very friendly personell, reduced menu of the season and a rustic ambiance. Very well presented dishes and perfectly prepared food! Had a chickenbreast which nearly melted on the tongue! Accompanied by gnocchi with young green beans and corn in its sauce ! Will definitely return to try more!

An easy going polish restaurant with a good selection of wines. We were there in the middle of the afternoon so possibly the menu wasn’t the full version of it…but I found the selection somewhat short. We had a nice duck mousse and some beautiful liver toasts. All tasty. My husband had a risotto which was ok. Since it only had another two main dishes that I didn’t particularly like, I went for a second started and had some stuffed zucchini which I loved. The most interesting/original part was the selection of wines which were all above 10€ per glass which is a lot for Poland (and even for France where we come from) but the selection was truly varied and original ! We tried a Hungarian, Polish and German wine and loved all of them. The terrace is cool and the overall experience was nice.

One of the best places in Warsaw. Entrance is hidden away, down a bit of a shabby alleyway. However what food, what service, & incredible wine. The food here would not be out of place on Madison Ave in NYC. Actually it's better and the prices don't do it justice, just your pocket book. Incredible and the service is wonderful.

Alewinos entrance through a courtyard might surprise you. on one of the earliest, hot April evenings the outdoor serving was crowded - and quite comfortable. The starters, crostini duck rillette was really big, the salad with goat cheese and my beef tartare were very delicious. the main dishes, the truffle risottos with and without scallops and the skrei (cod) were cooked with a gentle hand to perfection. The three layer apple, misoginger ice cream, angel wings was an excellent finish for the excellent meal. The companions equally much enjoyed rich cheese dessert. Very nice wines served by the glass completed the excellent dinner.

I wanted to go to this restaurant following the Michelin Guide. The reservation was made correctly and I was well received on site that very evening. However, several problems, I find, are not allowed in a Michelin restaurant: - Menu on printed papers - Wobbly table - Rather long service I had a risotto for the main course, it was good but I expected better from a restaurant recommended by the Michelin guide....Moreover, I was in a dark corner and did not have any lighting above, as soon as a person passed by I no longer saw anything. Besides, the waitress forgot to give me back my ticket and forgot my change, which I had to ask her for.... In other words, I will not return to this restaurant and I find that it does not deserve the Michelin recommendation.

A restaurant that successfully combines an elegant and austere setting with a relaxed atmosphere. Impeccable and close service, highlighting the sommelier's advice. The menu is short but it is impossible to go wrong, new Polish cuisine with local ingredients made with love and a lot of flavor. The entrance to the premises through a somewhat hidden patio only adds to its charm. Excellent tartare, duck, vegetable dishes and brownie. To repeat over and over again.
