We've actually been twice: once with our 5 year old niece and small dog summer, and once for date night in the fall.Summer: we enjoyed the outdoor eating area for an early evening dinner; you have a great people-watching view onto Malcolm X Blvd. The kid's menu is tasty, and our niece enjoyed her pasta. The server was so sweet brought out a water dish for our pup, and it was easy to get him settled under our table. Service was quick and prices are on par for similar restaurants in the area.Fall: we sat inside in a very cute booth. The ambiance was off the charts and perfect for a cozy date night. We noticed many other couples enjoying the vibes, too, so it might not be the best choice to bring kids later in the evening for dinner service. We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. The food was good, but I think we chose poorly (our own mistake). Unlike our first visit, we didn't go for recommended specials or pasta, which seem to be the specialty. Instead, we went for tuna tartare and chicken breast for entrees, and a side of truffle fries. The dishes were fine and service was fast, but I wouldn't repeat-order either dish. Our first visit was positive, so we'll probably be back to try stronger dishes on the menu. My guess is that these two dishes are there for folks who *really* want them, but they aren't necessarily the stars of the menu.Definitely check this place out and then walk a block to Sugar Hill Creamery for dessert-- if you have room in your stomach!
