Benedict Tel Aviv-Yafo Reviews from The Last Year
Best place to have breakfast
We were well served the tea with blueberries blinches were delicious,I don't remember the company of the tea but it was great 👍 thank you, I will promote your restaurant with my customers and friends and family
Bad service, OK food, high prices
Food was OK (too expensive to be honest), but the service was terrible. Got there a few minutes before opening. Staff were milling about, having coffee. No said ANYTHING. Not good morning NOTHING. Ten minutes pass, someone seats me, brings me a glass of water. Next issue, the music. The new trend at Israeli eateries is to BLAST the music. It's intolerable, and to folks who are hearing impaired, even more so. I asked someone who later I found out was a manager, to "please lower the music" a bit... and he just said "NO"!
YUUUUM
Huge, absolutely delicious portions and friendly staff. I LOVED this place. Best brunch in TLV. I had the smoked salmon Benedict and my partner had the Texas skillet. Both incredible.
Large portions, staff can be rude if you don't tip 20%+...
Varied menu including some Israeli options. In general, the portions are large and are best shared between two unless you're really hungry. Our party had the Benedict Royale, shakshuka and blueberry pancakes. Portions make it good value for money but typically more than you can eat in one sitting! Staff were friendly up until the point when they weren't happy with the tip we gave...then we saw a completely different side to the waitress who became extremely rude. Wouldn't visit again because of this.
Great breakfast
This place is great. Everything we ate was excellent. Very generous portions, bread was fresh from the oven, salads were just great. Coffee was sizable and was great. Service was amazing. Will go back next trip even though place is not cheap.
Great for brunch
Busy at times with a queue of people, we got a table for brunch and we’re not disappointed Great shakshuka made to order, challah bread was superb, and the salmon beigel excellent. As per Tel-Aviv, prices very high but quality excellent..
Great Breakfast All Day
Excellent food and service. Eggs Benedict available with several options. My daughter ordered Banana Pancakes which were very good.

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
