Lovely food, great welcoming service and fun atmosphere
We really enjoyed dining at Best Girl. We were staying that night at the Ace Hotel and it was really late so likely there was not much open. Staying at this hotel was a last-minute decision and we were not disappointed. That goes with the restaurant too. We did not eat anything fancy, but our burger and gnocchi were delicious. Yes, it is pricey, but it is an upmarket restaurant in the fashion district of LA. We expected that, especially with our exchange rate. The service was great and the overall experience was enjoyable.

Great coffee bar here. Got coffee tons of times while staying at the Ace Hotel. Staff are super nice, highly recommend the coffee here. Wish I had time for brunch here too, it looks amazing!

This was a great restaurant after we attended the Theater at the Ace Hotel. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The food was good. We went on a Sunday so it did offer more brunch items. I liked the atmosphere in the restaurant very lively. Overall, I would go back and have lunch or dinner here. For a hotel restaurant, I think it is great.

My daughter and I went there for dinner because we were staying at the Ace hotel and there was nothing else open. They had music and I liked the ambience. The service seemed great until we got our order. My hamburger meat was rare and they added pickles. Although those are small details, I was very specific when I ordered. The chicken sandwich was made of two fried chicken patties and it seems they fry the chicken with the calamari and everything else. Awful!
The restaurant is overpriced for the quality of the food. On top of that, they charge you an additional 4% and give no explanation. The suggested tip is from the final total including all the taxes. The only good thing was the glass of Pinot. I was extremely dissatisfied.
Good food, excellent atmosphere
I dine here before shows at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel. Grab a table outside. The comings and goings of the Ace Hotel guests (some of the hippest people in LA) are always entertaining. The food is not vegan friendly, despite the restaurant's description. The portions are small as befits the hipsters who eat here; but, the preparation is superb and worthy of savoring. Table service is sharp; but, the kitchen is slow. You cannot be in a hurry if you eat here. Give yourself at least an hour and a half before your show.

We stayed at the Ace hotel, so very convenient. We had dinner, the special was wild salmon which had great flavor. Also had gnocchi that were like small tasty treats of heaven. The dessert was a delightful surprise, try the Bardstown Pudding, very yummy and great tasting! Because this was so good, we did dine here the next night just to have dessert again!

Motherโs Day brunch for 6. We were seated in the Mezzanine and even though my mom is in a wheelchair, they have an elevator. More room upstairs anyway. Valet parking but there is a lot on the corner with $10 parking on the weekend. Service was terrific. Food selection very nice and out of the ordinary. Really cool deviled eggs and lots of unusual but tasty specials. You wonโt be disappointed. Afterwards, we took the elevator to the rooftop to enjoy the weather, the view, and a post brunch drink. My daughter says the rooftop at the Ace Hotel rocks in the evening, but for a Sunday afternoon, the music was cool jazz and some blues scat. Fun!

We had a reservation for Motherโs Day. Service was fast, but not very friendly. Food was good. Desserts were not great. Very small and over priced. Mimosa was $12 and small, and we were charged for water.

I liked the first few bites but then i couldn't eat it anymore. I should have complained but I didn't. My husband could finish his either. Its too pricey and we didn't like it. It was before the show and we didn't want to wait for anything more. But I had some chocolate ice cream that was good.I
