Actually a bit disappointed
Actually a bit disappointed and this is not the review I wanted to leave, I was actually excited to try their lobster burger after looking at their ads (comparison of ad vs actual in photo), and wanted to put in a great review, but the lobster burger was a total let down, more lettuce (70%) than lobster (30%) in the bugger, and the bun was very average, taste average too. For $23 you’ll expect better. The fries were well below average, thin and overdone, tasteless. Honestly think the Coles pre-packed ones taste better, sorry guys but this experience was a let down. The Strawberry shakes were excellent .

Small restaurant with no table service and more a diner feel where you go and order and get a buzzer and have to go pick up your food. The burger was really delicious and reasonably priced, I would definitely go again. It's not a place where you would sit with a group and chat afterwards.

My first time today in this wonderful place, and who knew that a burger with prawns inside would add a unique taste:) I'm glad we went earlier, because by 6 pm there was a long queue forming. Kelly our lovely hostess, was absolutely lovely and charming and provided a great service! Thank you so much and hopefully we bring more students from our Uni, for any future academic celebrations:) Well done Betty's Burger's and thank you Kelly :)

I brought some business colleagues from Sydney for lunch and was quite disappointed about the quality and value for money. Chips very dry and chicken in the salad was almost nonexistent. I left feeling hungry and my Sydney team left most food uneaten. Need to lift your game.
Be the first to ReplyA pretty good restaurant for meat consumers but not good for a family lunch of vegetarians ( solo's or pairs are fine)
Betty's Burger was a pretty good restaurant for meat consumers. A large variety of burgers and sides. We are vegetarian and there were only 2 - 3 choices for us. But, one of the vegetarian burger we had ( no egg), was so wonderful. The other burger which was vegan was a pure disgust as it tasted a little burt and tasteless. Moreover, Betty's burger might not be as overpriced as Grill'd, but is still highly overpriced. A burger not too big for about $18 - $25! Although, if you are wanting to have a wonderful burger and you are not caring about the cost then betty's burger is your need.

Without doubt the most pleasant surprise I've had My wife and I were visiting Melbourne and after a big day we walked for nearly an hour looking for an easy reasonably priced dinner, should've stopped the first time we went past! EXCELLENT FOOD, SUPERB SERVICE, GREAT PRICE the perfect mix I had Noosa burger, fries and my wife had Shroom burger and fries we shared onion rings Three beers, two ciders and the meal was well under $100. "The best burger I've ever had" my wife said

By myself in Melbourne and looking for a place to eat. I come across this place and think to myself that the name sounds a little dodgy "concrete" (is that what it's like in your stomache) but gathered the courage and decided to give it a go. The ordering process was simple and the meal arrived reasonably quick. Both the milkshake and the burger were absolutely delicious and hit the spot. (So much so I came back a second time a few days later). Highly recommend this place. Great ambience, staff and food.
Be the first to ReplyOver complicated
Wanted to just go in, sit down and order a burger. Instead there was an over complicated diatribe of how to order via the app or at the counter. People waiting to get in had to wait for the group in front to be told what to do before they were subjected to the same. It’s not rocket science, I’m sure people can work out how to order a burger. A classic case of over-servicing.

We enjoy dining here when in Australia. Busy over the lunch break but we got a friendly welcome, seat found easily & burgers didn't take long. Both chicken burgers were tasty. Will dine again.

l when to the doncaster store with a friend to get something to eat l had the lobster roll & frech fries the lobster roll is not worth the money you charge for & the fries were cold when we got back to car on the way home
Be the first to ReplyFresh burger, fast service and terrific milkshakes
1950’s milkshake shop vibe and loud modern music meet great, fresh food. The fries and super burger (Betty’s Classic) were washed down with a Northern Territory Crisp beer. Friends ordered the milkshakes and gave the treat high marks.
Be the first to ReplyBare Betty was the best - 4 Me
I've always wanted to eat the contents of a burger without the BUN. Well to my surprise I was able to order just that, a Bare Betty wrapped in lettuce not in a bun and I added pineapple and beetroot as an extra. It had a very tasty meat patty, the decor is bright and light and service was excellent. 4 of us dined here and we're so glad we did.
Be the first to ReplyBurgers and Beer or Milkshakes
We stopped for lunch and had great "real, fresh beef" burgers, regular for my husband and "naked" for me. What a concept - a taste burger wrapped in romaine lettuce leaves. They give you a wooden knife and fork with it. He has a cold beer and I opt for the milkshake and was not disappointed. Definitely a great spot on lower Elizabeth Street. But for us oldies - the music was a tad loud, yet the young people seemed to enjoy it!
Be the first to ReplyThe connoisseur's burger out
A burger and thick shake that satisfies the true burger connoisseur - the beef burger taste and texture, right down to the fresh cool luscious lettuce and tomatoe tantalises the urges of a burger fan - it's one way to ensure a great day out

Delicious burgers and fries, service was excellent, and it was in a great central location in Melbourne CBD. Two of my friends that had never been there before thought it was awesome! Will definitely come back when I'm next in Melbourne for a visit!

Our waitress shayla was kind, sweet and funny! We hope to have her again (she got my order right!)!!
Be the first to ReplyTerrible service even quiet mid afternoon
Ordered takeaway at Melbourne Elizabeth St store mid afternoon 11th December. Cashier looked and sounded like she didn't want to be there. She took the order, small and basic burgers and fries for two, we clarified it was takeaway as she hadn't asked. She sighed and changed something on the register. Asked if we still needed the buzzer, she said yes. We stood near the pick-up window. Heard others called. Eventually a different woman asked our number and said our bag was on the counter. Number wasn't called out. Buzzer alert didn't work. Nobody else was waiting near pickup. They weren't busy. Terrible customer service. Food may have been good if hotter. Hotel literally around the corner and food lukewarm. Wasn't horrible but not worth another purchase there to see if good or better when hot.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Burgers!
Had the traditional classic burger and fries and the verdict is 9.9 out of 10 rating,. Never ever had such delicious burger before not even at the Hotels, as per se. Will certainly go back again for another bite.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible service couldn’t get the order right. Save your money. Go anywhere else. Staff rude and made every excuse.
Save your money - they can not get the order right and when they get it wrong are rude. Food is ordinary. Melbourne appalling for service.

They were very kind and treated us well. It was very yummy food and they helped us get some more salt.

We went to the Betty’s Burgers on Collins Street. It was busy for a Monday night with queues to sit and to order but the food was ready really quickly. We all had chicken burgers which were a good size for the price and not too filling ( you know how sometimes burgers can leave a heavy feeling?!). Shared fries and chips - 2 portions was plenty for 4 of us. Would go back again. The teens enjoyed it.
