What a hidden gem in the streets of Geneva. I love discovering eateries unplanned and then the food surpasses all expectations. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the wine was local to Geneva and the food was to die for. Perfec5ly cooked chatuebraind..it really was lovely ..
Amazing Food and Hospitality
My family came here for dinner on our last night in Switzerland, and we could not have chosen a better restaurant. During our 2 week trip, my family agreed that this was likely one of, if not the best meal we had! One of the owners was chatting outside with friends and was so welcoming to us as we approached, chatting with us as we were seated inside. We had the onion soup, as well as chicken liver pate for starters. For mains we had the Lake Geneva perch filets, entrecôte steak with potatoes au gratin, and I had one of their specialty dishes - a Lyonnaise pork chop with garlic sauce. I still have dreams about that pork chop as it was one of the most delicious cuts of meat I have ever had. The food, hospitality, and overall friendliness of the staff/servers was unmatched and such a wonderful way to close out our amazing trip to Switzerland. If we are ever in Geneva in the future, we will be sure to eat here as often as possible!

This place was AWESOME! We had a wonderful dinner here - enjoyed a great steak, delicious escargot, tasty homemade French onion soup and the wines to pair! Amazing Restaurant - A Geneva MUST!
We celebrated the last night of our family vacation here and the meal did not disappoint! A special thank you to the manager, who made us feel very welcome and helped us get situated with two babies. This restaurant lives up to its review in Food and Wine - the steak medalions were some of the best I have ever had. The vibe is classic - you'll never want the evening to end. Another big thank you to our waitress, who was probably a little overwhelmed by a large party of Americans with two little ones and a pregnant lady. She made it work! We appreciate the effort and look forward to visiting again!
Too fast and disappointing
We were meant to have a late lunch, at least we thought so, but we were told that the last order is at 1.15pm. We arrived at 1.10pm and ordered promptly. Our entrées and mains were served in quick succession and our deserts followed just as quickly. What a shame.. it was such a disappointing experience both in terms of the food and the speed of the service. There won’t be any need to go back.

Warm and cozy atmosphere, friendly service, excellent authentic food. Highly recommended family restaurant, where staff seems to be always happy to meet you and dishes are just the way they were meant to be in good old Switzerland.

My favourite restaurant we visited on our trip. Lovely atmosphere And setting, really good service and a great steak. The three chocolate cake was delicious.
Very good food , nice atmosphere
Recommended by the concierge, we were not disappointed. A lovely French restaurant walking distance from most of the hotels in Geneva (we were at the Mandarin Oriental). Everything was fresh and freshly prepared. Warm and welcoming staff. Definitely worth checking out :)
Traditional Bistro - with fantastic home cooking
We saw this as highly rated on trip Advisor and was a short walk from the Hotel We did not book, but got the 2nd to last table so maybe worth booking The staff were excellent - and spoke very good English We had a starter of Snails, and French Onion Soup Main, Steak Tartare and the Fillet Steak Medallions All the food was first class and was washed down by a nice bottle of local Red wine If you are in Geneva you have to visit this place
First dinner in Geneva
The service and food were top notch. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The server helped us through the menu as we don't speak French. We had a wonderful traditional Lyonnaise meal and enjoyed everything.

* Peter can now talk to FamousStation67 for any questions Peter may have as FamousStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at Bistrot du Bœuf Rouge Genève to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
