Nice Food & Service but too Noisy
Thiis is the second time I had lunch at this restaurant. Last time was excellent, with food, service and ambience, and which I had highly recommended this restaurant to many of my friends. With this time's dining, thanks to restaurant staff who are very polite and sincere especially Raven Law. Thanks to his recommendation on food which was great! However, the visit this time I was disappointed, not because of food nor service but becaues there was a party of 8 sitting next to us. They must be really happy and thought they are dining in a private room. They made such loud noises from the very beginning to the end. I expect this restaurant is not a quite one like candle lite environment but the noise they made is far too inconsiderate. I hope I will not come across this kind of dining experience on the next time I dine there.

This is an upscale steakhouse in Tsim Sha Tsui. Inside a five-star hotel, Bostonian basically meets all expectations for an ultimate American steakhouse experience. Decor is cozy and spacious. Service is impeccable and careful to details. The menu offers the all-time classics as well as some creative mixes. Mardi Gras oyster, with bacon and cheddar, is a appetizing start to the meal. Lobster bisque, served tableside, is rich, creamy with a nice touch of brandy. Tomahawk is the perfect answer for meatlovers. The steak is rich, juicy and succulent. Baked Alaska, the quintessential American dessert. brings a marvelous end to the lovely feast. Price is hefty as anticipated but well worth it.
Be the first to Reply慶祝生日
慶祝生日🥳朋友預早訂定星期日中午的半自助餐🤤 , 餐廳環境光線柔和, 我們坐在梳化位置,很舒適的。 一行四人點了$988套餐, 可以free flow PJ🍾、rose champagne🥂、house white/red🍷、 beer🍻、 soft Drinks🥤、orange juice🧃、 coffee☕ and tea🍵。

Be the first to ReplyExcellent Weekend Free-flow Champagne Brunch
The market for boozy weekend free-flow brunches in Hong Kong is very competitive with prices ranging from around HKD500 for Prosecco or Cava to around HKD1000 for Champagne with every type of buffet and food serving along the way from crowded food fights to more intimate settings. The Langham’s Bostonian restaurant is priced at the higher end of the scale as you would expect for this category of hotel but it does include four hours of one of our favourite Champagnes - Perrier Jouet Blason Brut Rose. We had a thoroughly enjoyable lazy brunch on Saturday starting with a buffet of seafood on ice (shrimp, oysters, clams, crabs, whelks) followed by a buffet of high-end salads, appetisers, and cold cuts. The mango & prawn salad, roast vegetables, and frittata were particular highlights. Next up was a selection of bites freshly cooked from the kitchen that were brought to the table. These included a lobster bisque, foie gras brûlée, and baked scallop, shrimps and oyster. Very tasty. We then ordered our main. The choice has expanded since the last time we were here and I took the Lobster Thermidor. Again, perfectly cooked and presented. Not much room left but there was a buffet of puddings and cheeses and espressos to finish. I thoroughly recommend the Bostonian’s weekend brunch. It’s not as crowded as some and there’s no time pressure to drink, eat, and leave before the next sitting. The staff are friendly and this helps create a relaxed atmosphere which is exactly what you want over the weekend. We will be back.
Be the first to ReplyQuality seafood & grill at Langham Hotel
The Bostonian is a feature seafood and grill restaurant at the Langham Hotel in TST. Opening hours are 12-3pm (lunch) and 6-11pm (dinner). This is a nicely decorated place, nice for business lunches, group meals and data nights. We recently dined at the Bostonian and very much enjoyed our meal. Note because the Main Street Deli, a separate restaurant at Langham Hotel, is having their interior redesigned at present, those who dine at the Bostonian can also order from the Main Street Deli menu at this time. During our meal we found pre-dinner cocktails to be just ok, pre-meal sour dough bread was nice. We ordered the NZ pork cutlets that were perfectly grilled at medium to medium-rare temperature and tasted delicious. Served with roasted garlic and slightly grilled cherry tomatoes on the vine. This was an excellent main and one we'd gladly order again the next time we dine at The Bostonian. On the evening, we also ordered BBQ Baby Pork Ribs off of the Main Street Deli menu. This was a short rack of 6 ribs that were done pretty well. The pork was relatively soft, tender, came off the bone nicely and were lathered in a sweet BBQ sauce. Overall, not one of my favourite rib order around the city but definitely better than average. Overall, really liked the pork cutlet dish from Bostonian and were ok with the ribs from the Main Street Deli menu. This is a quality restaurant worth dining at if you are staying at the Langham Hotel or looking for a quality western seafood & grill restaurant in the TST area.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed birthday dinner 🍽
First of all, Joey and I would appreciated the staff whom make us a reservation for my birthday dinner. The Langham Hotel was not our first time for food and beverage. 30 December 2020 and 14 February 2021, We have their room service during our Staycation. The food is fantastic. Their Black Cod dish is amazing. Better than other 5 stars hotel or fine dinning restaurant in town. But, their Seafood tower is terrible. Oyster size is small, jade whelks and scallops were not good enough. The most disappointing thing is one small dish we had enjoyed not at the restaurant. That scallops dish was incredible Good 👍🏻
Be the first to ReplyAwesome place for Brunch
I went with a couple of friends to attend their special “tales of Hong Kong” guest bartender Saturday brunch! The ambience in the restaurant is cozy and relaxed. The staff is well trained, friendly and very attentive! For the food; you have a nice selection of antipasti and appetizers, fresh seafood station and a dessert buffet corner. For the main course we had the choice of four different dishes! Everything super tasty! We definitely enjoyed the brunch with free flow champagne and cocktails!
Be the first to ReplyThe New Location for Main Street Deli
Main Street Deli is currently under renovation so the Bostonian dining room is it until May I have been told. The menu has changed. I started with the onion rings and the portions were quite generous with crispy tempura-like beer batter for the 4 of us. We had a combination of corn beef, pastrami and spicy chicken burgers. All were very good.

In hindsight, all the red flags were there from the beginning and we should have left immediately. Instead, we paid $1300 for less than $130 worth of service. Utter disappointment. This was a special occasion to celebrate recent personal milestones. We had picked this place because of its positive reviews across sites and its promising menu. Within the first 10 min: - A baby cockroach was crawling on the wall close to the seafood buffet. - The manager/host said he would return with the a la carte menu, but never did. - Another waitress told us they were not serving a la carte, then backtracked and said some mains were not available. Most notably, no Boston lobster which I had been really looking forward to. - A young waiter had no idea they were not serving certain food. During the meal: - Soup arrived before bread. Lobster bisque ($168) had lumps of cream that refused to dissolve. Mushroom soup ($138) was advertised to contain truffle but we could not taste any. - Bricks of bread arrived completely cold on the outside. They were colder inside. And so hard that it hurt to chew. - Crab cake ($228) was sent to the wrong table. - French fries ($88) were pathetic and not unlike those served in fast food chains. Shocking for this price point. - US rib eye ($648) was cooked to medium-rare, when we had ordered medium. We had also been given the wrong knives and had a terrible time trying to cut the steak. Fat had not rendered and it was tough to chew. - None of the food arrived piping hot. - We asked for the bill twice. Why didn't we kick up a fuss? The staff was completely overwhelmed and wholly understaffed. Another table of 4 had one of their mains arrive 30 min late and refused it. It's obvious the manager and host were having a difficult time keeping up with the lunch crowd and responding to nonstop requests. We had 10% off the bill - yay, no service charge! Eat here at your own peril. Other tables were ordering off the deli menu, which is a lot cheaper.
