Superlative Eating Experience.
Probably the best restaurant we have ever eaten in. We visit NZ every few years and a meal here with Kiwi friends is something of a tradition. Lunched here today and celebrated our 50th Anniversary. A delightful meal, beautifully served by the most charming and knowledgeable waitress. We hope to return in a couple of years. We will certainly eat here.
Great Easter meal
What a great place to dine. Service and food was top notch. Made all the extra special by the free Easter dessert plate. If youâre looking for a special treat, would highly recommend this place.
Average lamb, excellent location/establishment.
Very nice location, I also loved the decor. Price depicts quality, at the price the lamb ordered shouldâve been exceptional, it was mediocre at best; I shouldnât have ordered lamb out of seasonâŠ
Steak wasn't special
I went a few nights ago with my family for a special occasion, and in general we enjoyed the place. However as it was a special occasion I ordered the $125 steak and thought it would be life changing. As it turned out, it was a pretty standard piece of scotch with nothing special when it came to presentation and the taste and texture was similar to what I would get from a countdown steak for $10. Also a couple of our orders were mixed up which led to my partner not having an entree and receiving her main late. The waiter was also a bit strange - having interrupted a few conversations with even stranger interjections. Pork Belly, fried squid and scallops were great though. If you go here, I would recommend those and to avoid the steak menu.
Poor experience
This had a great ambience and feel . Food however was poor . Steak was very tough and underdone . Couples on the table behind us sent theirs back . I am thinking I should have done the same . Wait staff we diligent and attentive . However if I had the choice I wonât be be back .
Long day of travel from California to Auckland.
Looking to enjoy a nice harbor side meal. This place is NOT that great, or great enough to just eyeball a couple with two kids 9 and 6 and say "oh we don't have a table for 4, here's our card to come back and join us at a later date". Half full at best. Wednesday night. Probably why other places are packed and this place wasn't. Was ready to drop $500. Will eat room service at the hotel. And these guys get a crap review. Fine with me.

We were able to score a table at BB our first night in Auckland. One of the best meals of our trip. I, myself do not eat meat so had a lovely meal of salad and various veggie sides. Our server, Jason was a delight. He made recommendations and guided us through the various lamb and steak offerings. The lamb shoulder, ribeye and fillet were enjoyed by the rest of the family. The Greens with pear were tasty as were the carrots and slaw. We did not have room for dessert.
Stay the night!
Right at the edge of the Harbor this is a red meat haven. Numerous choices and sizes. Never had coriander in a steak but it was super. Extensive wine list and not costing you your mortgage. Our server was well versed in the menu and a real professional. Seems as though you book the table for the night no pressure to leave with a 630 seating. Want a steak: this is your place.
A tad disappointing đ
Simply put Service was fine However I absolutely hate having Midgesâ (little blood suckers) hanging around our table I killed maybe 3 of them but one started slurping on my expensive glass of wine - not good enough The duck fat potatoes were nothing of the sort. In Queenstown they are magnificent but in Auckland my 5 yr old daughter would do better Rest of meal mint đđ Sauces with steak delicious and oysters with sauce were yum We will be back but need to up your game
Good but not great
The service was excellent. The red wine was nice but pricey, as was the 'rack' of lamb. For $62 I was anticipating something quite substantial. Alas it was 4 small chops slightly undercooked and fatty. Together with the carrots, puree etc it did taste great. But yeah, too expensive for what it was. Ambience-wise there weren't many people around so if you hate crowds this could be perfect for you. Nice view of the water and people walking by. I think the decor could do with a bit of a spruce up.
Terrible experience, average food
First off, we were ignored upon walking in, obviously deemed to not be worth greeting despite our reservation & decent standard of dress. Average and boring food. Had a hair in my overpriced (bland) steak. Flies buzzing around. Oysters full of shell bits. I donât mind paying for great food & service, but save your money cos this isnât it. Real pity because I LOVED the Queenstown restaurant and was looking forward to this for months. Incredibly disappointed.

Great views and service! They were a bit overwhelmed with our very large group but still offered service with a smile. The duck pancakes are the perfect starter. The kind fish crudo was also fresh. The salmon isn't something I would usually order but it was incredible! Perfectly cooked and fresh over a bed of farro and greens... and it was lightly spicy! Love that! The fillet was also perfectly cooked and showcased the beef New Zealand has to offer.
Utterly appalling food / shocking service
Appalling and shocking. Our last night in NZ and the food took over an hour to arrive. When it did arrive the food delivered was wrong and items were missing. The steak delivered was cold and over cooked. As a last night in NZ the experience was utterly shocking. As a foreigner, it was saddening to see locals arriving later receiving their food earlier. A really horrible, insulting and awful experience. The approach towards is simply for being British really upset us. The worse service weâve received at any restaurant globally, ever. Avoid.

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

Does anyone know what it is? On Resy, it says 24 hours or less will be charged $25/guest.
If I go to cancel a reservation (out of curiosity), it gives you up until 30 mins before the stated reservation to cancel penalty free.
As a Seller, do I get the final say in whether or not to accept a bid?
I.e., if I were to put up a reservation with some asking price and it were to be matched with a bidder, would I have full discretion to decline to make the sale without penalty for any reason?

Hi everyone, i am writing to bring an issue to your attention regarding my recent payout. I was due to receive my first payout 3 weeks ago on 06/06/2024. Unfortunately, this payment was not sent as expected. I reported the issue to the support team and was promised that the matter would be resolved and the money would be deposited into my account on Monday the next week, but it was never paid neither was it refunded to my At account. However, despite several reports to support no one responded, I have not received the payment or gotten it return to my account till date. I made two other withdrawal that was paid. This week I was expecting a payment, scheduled to be received on 06/27/2024. However, the payment neither deposited into my account nor was it returned to my AT account, I have contacted support but no one has responded. This is very frustrating and discouraging, I need to understand why this happens and know a possible solution as I can't keep earning and not get paid or maybe I should quit AT altogether.

I bid on a reservation for this past Thursday around a week ago. By the day before, I still had not heard anything back, so I made a different reservation on my own with a cancellation fee. Later on, I got an email that someone could fulfill my reservation request. I didnât confirm anything because I already had my own reservation. Today, I got a $100 no show fee charge from Appointment Trader. Iâm confused why I would be liable for a cancellation fee for a reservation I never confirmed??

I see with my user status I can only cashout $1,500 a week. However is my monthly linit also that same $1,500? That doesnt make sense. Why even have caps, the sales went thru and its 2 days after by the time you release the hold to me. The monthly cap of $1500 (if thats what it is) really limits your good sellers profit potential as of that $1500 only a fraction is profit as the reservations cost a lot to reserve anyways at Carbone and Torissi.
Hoping the weekly is $1500 and the monthly is a glitch you can fix for me.
