When in Napa wine tasting this is our lunch spot.
Great food and love the ambiance of Brasswood. It does get busy though, I recommend making a reservation.

Amazing ambiance and very delicious food! More on the expensive side but the quality of the food matches.

Brasswood Bar + Kitchen is definitely a must-try! We had an amazing time during our visit. While we weren't too hungry, we couldn't resist trying the margarita pizza, which was delicious. However, everything coming out of the kitchen looked absolutely stunning! The desserts were especially tempting so we tried one. Our service was outstanding, and dining out on the patio made for a perfect day. The patio is cute with a lot of sun. The cocktails were also top-notch. I can't wait to bring friends back with me next time. I absolutely love this place!

The bread is not free! it's $9 for five thin slices! The staff passed by our table and casually asked if we want bread, of course we said yes, thinking that's is complementary like many other restaurants. Who knows it turn out to be the worst food experience ever, 5 thin slices were not enough for six of us to share. 20% service charges for a group of six. Duck leg risotto - duck leg is crispy and tender inside but risotto is just average Pappardelle and short rib - this's the best thing so far, flavorful beefy pasta Crème brûlée, fresh oysters, scallops and New York steak - all were delicious.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant of all time! I love the moody atmosphere. I love their special Barrata that's not even on the menu. It's a must try! I have had the scallops, the bolognese parpadelle, the duck confit! They were all good. The finale is the butterscotch panna cotta!! Run to try this. You will not be disappointed.

Glad to see some much missed dishes formerly on the Tre vinge menu. The mozzarella is a must. The duck risotto is to die for. Nice inside and outside seating. Service is more casual than fine dining, attentive and pleasant. Great for special occasion!

Delicious pasta dishes ordered by three of us, two others throughly enjoyed the pork ribs. Attentive staff made the meal pleasant. Off of the main downtown bustle, well worth the visit. Pleasant unhurried bistro, deep booths in relaxed surroundings. Do not forget to treat yourself to the Affogato.

Robert is a legend. Food is great too with all sorts of options.

Be the first to ReplyWent for Napa Valley Restaurant Week DinnerFood - 5/5.
Mushroom bisque had a smooth nappe consistency. It was very earthy from the strong mushroom flavors, and this was amplified by the hazelnuts. The crunch from the hazelnuts added great texture to the smooth soup and the chive oil added hints of fresh aromatics. The fettuccine had the springy yet bitey texture that fresh pasta is known for. Sauce was vibrant with the perfect level of sour from the tomatoes being mellowed out by the rich duck. From the third course, the polenta was fantastic. It had a rich, creamy base that paired well with the umami red wine reduction and the refreshing gremolata. Broccolini was seasoned well and fork tender. Unfortunately the main item, the short rib, fell short. It lacked a sear which would've helped its texture and the meat itself was tough and flavorless. More sauce might've helped but the short rib itself was not good. I am generally not a fan of butterscotch due to it being an overpowering flavor, but the panna cotta here changed my mind. Panna cotta in generally mild and the pockets of strong butterscotch really brought it to life. Cookie was sweet with a hint of savory from the rosemary.Service - 5/5. Excellent service from the bar. They were incredibly busy but still provided a full fine dining experience with meals coming out in courses at the proper time. Bartender was very sociable and easily available.Value - 5/5. Excellent food and excellent service. Their restaurant week menu let you sample a good variety and really showcased their culinary finesse. It was also four courses rather than the usual three for only $48. The wine pairing was an extra $20, and they were generous with their pours. Fantastic dining experience.Parking - Private Lot (Free)

Came here for a late lunch after a pleasant mud bath in Calistoga. Early afternoon on a Saturday during what was probably the first dry weekend of the season and the place was busy, though we were seated right away.Service was prompt and attentive. Ordered the warm Brussels sprouts salad and the pork and beef meatball as an appetizer. Both were very good, although the portions left something to be desired. The meatball (yes, that's singular) especially...although very tasty, I expected more than a single meatball for $18. Even in the Napa valley.Shared the aromatizzato pizza as the main course. No complaints about the portion, although not huge it was reasonably sized and very good, even very mildly spicy.Bathrooms are private, roomy and clean. For atmosphere, service and food quality by themselves, this place would be a five-star. Due to prices on the appetizers, had to bring it down to four.

When we arrived, there was a line of 9 people for the bathroom. It was not crowded and a bit after lunch. Maybe we pass on the duck and, specifically, the duck fat. Rustic interior. The pizza was well portioned for the price. The Brussels sprouts and meatballs seemed small for the price. It tasted great.

The food here was a little different since I ordered some pasta but it was made with butternut squash lol interesting taste but I should've read what came with it. The server was amazing and very kind which is very important in my opinion. I would come back again and try something new good place to come eat after a full morning of wine tasting and it was also down the street which is very convenient and the traffic wasn't bad at all.

Brasswood is easily on of the best restaurants in the upper valley, if not the best. Their menu appeals to all, and their ribs are A+. The service is as polished and professional as you could hope for. The decor is very appealing with options for both outdoor or in, booths or tables. And the deli has wonderful pastries, salads, sandwiches and desserts. You can enjoy there are take with.

Love the food in the restaurant, their bakery is the best hidden secret in St Helena. Good coffee, nice breakfast and quick lunch menu. Pizzas are really good, place offers great bubbly feel, staff is super friendly and helpful. Sit in or out by the pizza oven and enjoy the estate wine. Keep coming back :)
Be the first to ReplyI am in love.
Someone asked me if I liked cheese prior to recommending Brasswood to me. They have a secret menu item of fresh mozzarella on perfect toasted bread with olive oil and rosemary. They cut the mozz in front of you and place it nicely on the bread. You have to tear up the rosemary and put it on top too! I could have eaten three orders. Their cocktail menu is also super fun. I ordered the Fellini's Muse which comes with the cocktail and a side of grapefruit juice so you can dilute it as much as you want. I added two splashes and it was perfect. My friend ordered the smoked old fashioned and it was super entertaining watching the bartender make the drinks. I would love to come here more often but boy is it pricy! Three cocktails and the mozzarella was about $75.

Love the lamb. This was recommended by our hotel and friends and had to try. The mozzarella is off the menu order it soooo good! Can't wait to come back

If you don't have a reservation, get here before 11:30am and get on line to get a seat at the bar. Otherwise, plan ahead and make a reservation (unlike us). Upscale wine country vibes, with a hearty menu and many glasses of local wine to choose from. The food is very, very good, and you won't leave here hungry. I would almost suggest that you order one less dish than you think you're going to need. California farm cuisine at its best!

What a beautiful spot! and this was a random place we chose for dinner. The ambiance is everything when you drive to it and park. The parking is a little small but we had no trouble. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and there's this courtyard when you walk in so you immediately feel the high-end vibes. The service was friendly and welcoming, especially not being from Napa Valley. Food was epic. I got the Short Rib Sugo which was pure quality. Tasted very fresh and full of flavor. We shared their special they were having which was a pizza with prosciutto. So glad the waiter mentioned it because we all enjoyed it. Def found a go-to dinner spot for the next time I go to Napa.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a review on the deli and coffee bar.
The staff are usually fantastic. Very polite and professional.Yesterday, however, the young woman who was filling the coffee orders around 12:30, was a different story. Very abrupt, un accommodating and sloppy. We asked for our coffee and tea orders in mugs. She brought them in paper take away cups. I asked if she could pour the drinks into mugs. When she brought them, one of the lattes was in a smaller cup on a saucer, and it had spilled over and half melted the sugar cubes on the saucer. She just stated that she spilled the drink. No offer to take it back and bring a clean cup.She was so condescending, that I avoided her and asked one of the professional, kind attendants for a side creamer of almond milk, which she had neglected to bring to the table. We enjoy coming and appreciate the staff, and we will continue to come. However, this young woman does not fit in well at all, and we will ask to he helped by someone other than her.

Good sized portion, nice vibe, good service. Little on the expensive side but it's in Napa Valley so duh

I literally just cried in this restaurant for my entire reservation and the server brought me 6 different drinks and didn't judge me at all. 20/10. The one app I ordered was also incredible. Please don't hesitate to go here.

What a nice surprise! Lucas was our waiter and was terrific! The food was so yummy and this restaurant and location is superb. We started with fresh Mozzarella that was drizzled with EVOO. There was four. And a Aromatizzato Pizza. My wife had a Beat Salad with a glass of Chardonnay and I had a Mixed Greens Salad with molasses vinaigrette. We were also fortunate to meet one of the Granddaughters of Robert Mondavi, Angelina Mondavi, who was very down to earth in talking to my wife and I about her schooling and background. She even autographed two bottles of Brasswood Cabernet Sauvignon for us. What a great day!

FRESH MOZZARELLA!!!! WORTH COMING FOR GLASS OF WINE AND THIS ALONE! It comes on bread and is so salty and delicious it's amazing and I believe off menu but a daily special. The ribs were not spicy, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the flavor. Smoky, but not overpowering. Rare to see baby back ribs at nicer restaurants lol so I had to! Came with group of 10 before winery tours so had to go heavy and this was perfect! The cornbread is good mix of sweet and hearty! 10/10
