Buatta Cucina Popolana Palermo Reviews
Not a Bib Gourmand.
Mediocre food and bad service do not fit with a Michelin Bib Gourmand. We had to wait over twenty minutes before our waiter managed to come to our table to take our wine and meal orders. Wine list was OK and fairly priced. Loud and hectic. Not rec
Great restaurant and excellent food in the heart of Palermo
Excellent meal in Buatta with a wide choice of Sicilian specialities particularly fish . A nice touch was the welcome - a glass of Madeira and a focaccia as appetiser. Generous portions of food- we didn't make it to dessert though they looked

Average at best. I live in New Jersey just outside in New York. So perhaps Iโm biased. With the food here was average at best. I wouldโve much rather spent my first night in Sicily going somewhere with more authentic fresh interesting and delicio

The service was great, the food was awesome but the location is sketchy. All of Palermo sucks but this place is decent. I had the lung and spleen and it was good.
Im shocked they have a Michelin star, the food was average.
But the service was terrible, even by European standards. We waited 25 min to even see a waiter/order water. The food was okay. The chicken was good and the baked pasta was good. The meat skewer was small and overcooked. Overall, not great.

My spouse picked this spot because he wanted to try the 5-course tasting menu. We were greeted immediately and seated outside. They didn't have any wine pairings for the tasting menu which we thought was a big miss. We had high hopes because the

A disaster - don't go no matter what your hotel says!! This place not only has a limited menu and poorly presented wines but after dealing with the rude and unresponsive staff you won't want to eat or drink anything. Although it is usuall

I can only do red sauce in Italy!! I'm not red sauce person but Buatta changed it for me. I finished everything! Husband pasta was pretty good too. We enjoyed the apps here and since the one we picked had a lot of seafood, our server was mindful
Avoid it
Two friends and I decided to have dinner here for a quiet dinner. TO AVOID. Leftover TASTING APPETIZER and they didn't even ask me why. Inedible rubbery and hard octopus. NEGATIVE
Everything is great
Excellent. The pasta is exquisite, as is the caponata and all the food. Exquisite. Modern atmosphere in the center, great. Very good service. Totally recommended.
Yum !!! one of the best addresses in Palermo
We had the chef's surprise menu in 6 courses, we were not disappointed. Everything was both fine and tasty. The service is responsive, it is provided in several languages, including French, worthy of luxury restaurants. Remember to book, we're rushin
I ate well but nothing surprising. Very expensive
The place is nice and the dishes are designed for tourists. The quality is good. Special dishes. The staff were quite friendly. Prices are very high
To enjoy high quality Sicilian cuisine
Three steps from the "four songs", a table with a sober and classic decor, run by a beautiful, welcoming and professional multilingual team. Here, everything you eat and drink has been fished/raised/produced on the island. The cuisine is se
Very good but unfortunately with some drawbacks
Everything was very good, but the most expensive main course/spaghetti with butter and anchovies was unfortunately completely without anchovies and that for 18:00 euros. Spaghetti with butter is really outrageous and therefore not recommended
Simply classy
Charming multi-lingual staff, excellent helpful service. Decent quality local menu & very good value. Thoroughly recommend.
Popular cuisine in a modern bistro
Buatta is a modern bistro that offers traditional dishes very well executed and with high quality ingredients. We had a tasting starter to share, spaghetti with anchovies and a fillet of croaker (very good!). Everything was really very good, the only
