Parking is very easy on weekdays (except Friday), especially after 9 pm but it can get packed during weekends. Price came out to be around $100 for four drinks, it's on the pricier side but the presentation and concepts are good. We got the lawn boy, Shaballah, campfire in Georgia, and Snow White's bong. I'd recommend the first two for people who enjoy sweet drinks and the latter two for people who want something different. They have almost 5,000 labels in house so if you're a spirit enthusiast, this is the place for you. Great place to take a date after dinner but service can take a little long depending on how busy they are.

The quality of their staff has gone down over the many years I've been visiting Canon, with a lot of turnover that impacts the customer experience. I previously reviewed ownership issues, but Yelp doesn't let you comment on that so I'll just focus on the frontline staff and the drinks themselves. Their bartenders really shy away from cocktail requests that aren't in their standard/everyday printed out menu (unlike a few years ago when they were better trained/more experienced). And their drink prices have gone up disproportionately.

Loved the vibes!! The shelves of alcohol could literally be a liquor library. For a Monday evening, the place was packed but still super cozy. We ordered Lawn Boy and Groot Beer Float -- I personally enjoyed the sweet fruitiness of Lawn Boy, but my friend didn't particularly like her beer float. Lawn Boy was very visually appealing too: it came in a bathtub with rose petals and ice bits that looked like a bubble bath.
Be the first to ReplyPros: Ambience/vibe was nice.
Everyone seems happy to be here. Creative/innovated cocktails. Customer service was great despite how busy it was, that's what gives this place an extra star. Cons: Cocktails are pricey and taste is not great. I had the groot beer float which was very bitter. Was not impressed considering how pricey each cocktail is. Can get pretty crowded and have a wait time to ge Overall it was a decent experience, but not mesmerizing to the point where I'll come back again.

OH MY GOSH!! This is the best cocktail bar I've ever been too. The interior is beautiful! The selection was insane. You can get pretty much any type of liquor you can imagine. The cocktails are creative and so flavorful. I honestly don't even know how you would make some of them. The mushroom cocktail was my favorite drink I've ever had. It was sweet and savory and umami. I'm not even much of a cocktail person but this was next level.
Be the first to ReplyThis is probably one of my favorite new bars I've tried.
The drinks were all really good and I had no complaints or critiques whatsoever. We would probably give the food a try next time and have some snacks. The drink menu is very unique too so there's something for everyone - including non-alcoholic/NA drinks. The servers were attentive and helpful. They had great recommendations as well. We walked up around 7ish on a Saturday for 2 and only had to wait about 20 minutes or so. We were at the standing bar table first until a table opened which was fine with us. It's a pretty cool space, though it's very small and cozy. The sheer number of bottles everywhere is kind of mind blowing. It's lively and fun as a date night spot or a group spot. That said, it is on the pricier end of drink spots ($22 average per cocktail) . I just felt the quality was good enough that I didn't mind the price tag. TLDR: would definitely go back for the unique drinks and snacks and be prepared for the price tag.

We spent wayyyyy too much time here and ordered all the drinks! They were so cute and very good.
Be the first to ReplyThis was the highlight of my weekend in Seattle.
The choices were off the charts! The appetizers we had were delicious in between the various drinks we ordered. 2 whiskeys and 3 cocktails - all so good. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is classic! Wall to wall to the ceiling and rafters of bottles of whiskey and other offerings. Make a reservation it's so worth it! I'm glad ours was late as we didn't have to leave after an hour.

Not often do you find bars that make creative cocktails that also taste amazing! Canon does just that and has easily become one of my favorites in Seattle. It's a great sit down bar with an impressive selection of drinks. We ordered the Lawn Boy and Whole Paycheck. I personally loved the Lawn Boy, which was on the more sweet/fruitier side and comes in a small bathtub with rose petals. The drinks are definitely on the pricier side, but are worth it for the experience. Will be visiting again!

We found this place spontaneously and so glad we did! It's a super cool whisky bar which also has a bunch of cool cocktails if that's what you're looking for. Great vibes and even awesome people working there. We went around 6-7 pm and it was easy to find seating. Def would recommend!

I recently visited Canon in Seattle, a renowned bar known for its exceptional drinks and knowledgeable staff. As soon as I walked in, I could tell that this was not just an ordinary bar - it was a place where mixology was taken to a whole new level.I ordered a cognac cocktail recommended by the bartender, and I was blown away by the depth and complexity of the flavors. The bartender had clearly taken great care to craft the perfect balance of ingredients, resulting in a drink that was smooth, rich, and satisfying. As I sipped my cocktail, I couldn't help but notice the impressive collection of spirits lining the walls. Canon is known for having one of the largest and most diverse collections of spirits in the world, and it was easy to see why. From rare whiskies to obscure liqueurs, they had it all.The atmosphere of the bar was sophisticated and refined, with dim lighting and plush seating that made me feel like I was in a speakeasy from a bygone era. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to share their expertise and recommendations.Overall, I would give Canon a 5-star rating. The drinks were exceptional, the atmosphere was elegant and refined, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. If you're a fan of cocktails or spirits in general, Canon is an absolute must-visit.
Be the first to ReplyI would recommend this place to everyone.
The cocktails were a hit and the pork belly buns were simple yet tasty. It was a Tuesday night so it wasn't too crazy in there. We got seated right away and the servers were all so helpful. I would come again. The only downfall is that it's pretty pricey.

drinks: 5service: 5ambiance: 5fun little spot, kind of feels like a hidden gem, the outside is unassuming, but inside is so cozy and unique. tons of bottles of different alcohols from floor to ceiling! it was so fun looking at all the different ones displayed.it does get quite busy, so i would probably come a littke earlier in the night. i would recommend sitting at the bar, it's fun to watch the barista make your drinks!their menu is very fun, but quite expansive! pages of crazy cocktails. we got to try pop art that had a fun picture printed on the creamy meringue on top. i got a surprise me with vodka, the lawnboy in the bathtub which was sweet and actually my favorite of the night, and also snow whites bong that had a fun apple flavor with caramel smoke in a funny little apple bong bottle.these cocktails are a tad more pricey than the average cocktail, but i think for the experience and the care they put into their menu, it's nice to indulge sometimes! you do get a bang for your buck, the drinks are quite strong!
Be the first to ReplyWorth the wait when it's pack.
Customer service was great late night from host to bartender. The food and alcohol mixed drinks were amazing. Would comeback and hopefully try other drinks on the menu.
Be the first to ReplyFrankly being a bartender in Seattle I was pretty bummed,
Frankly being a bartender in Seattle I was pretty bummed, and I bartend downtown at a pretty high end place that has twice the service. I was told to come here for great service and even better cocktails. So I sat at the bar for industry night, and the service was bland and unfriendly. The cocktails were alright. The bartender Tim who was working 3/06/23 was honestly colorist, walking past my bar area multiple times, while there were dirty dishes in front of me (with towel on top of food not wanted). But headed to the white couple next to me and asked if they needed anything (multiple times) The host was the one who had to clear my area and ask if I needed anything else(after waiting 10 minutes) From what I've been told they don't even hire female bartenders or people of color to work there. As a bartender in the city of Seattle I would not recommend this Bar to anyone visiting or living here.

We came from a concert so was looking for late night snacks & drinks. Drinks look very cute from the picture but tasted just ok, if anything too sweet. Food was the same as well but nothing really stood out.

Be the first to ReplyI've been wanting to check out this place for a while now,
I've been wanting to check out this place for a while now, so glad I finally got to visit. I came with two friends on a weekday night and thankfully we didn't have to wait at all, which was great as I've heard this place can get busy very quickly. The selling points of this bar are definitely the creativity & uniqueness of the drinks. Any cocktail you choose is bound to be in some sort of interesting container or set over fire or both. However, I felt like the actual cocktails themselves did not stand out particularly - for the price point, I was expecting carefully crafted cocktail masterpieces. You are essentially paying for the decor and presentation of the drinks rather than the quality of the drinks, which is fine but I don't know if I'd rush to come back. I also thought the serving size was rather small for drinks that came out to be ~$25 each including tax and tip.I don't think Seattle has many creative cocktail bars like this, so it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for visually aesthetic drinks, but keep in mind that the drinks probably won't blow your mind away.
Be the first to ReplyI've never seen such cute drinks.
We ordered the magic mushroom, DK Aint Sh*t, and campfire in Georgia. Definitely Magic Mushroom was a hit as it was the perfect balance of the sweetness from the yuzu and citrus as well as the rum. Very delicious will go back even just for ambiance
