Amazing …. And no Michelin star … why??
We are here last night. What a treat. Superb food, service and views. The experience was amazing. We chose the 7 courses and we were not disappointed. The wine Rose St Hills was fabulous. I do not know why this does not have a Michelin star or two.
Some good, some very bad
Positives - food was of a very good standard, not quite Michelin starred level - certainly not the pea dessert (this was not good at all - all 6 of us agreed unanimously!). Sommelier was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Our main waitress was also very good. Negatives - front of house manager - he was very rude and set a negative tone from the start. The meal also took far too long - we have eaten here before, and expected it to last around 3 hours as it did previously for the same number of courses, but it lasted over 5 hours - far too slow - we had plans after that we had to cancel. Price - although we have eaten here and many fine dining/michelin starred restaurants, the price I felt did not reflect the quality of the food overall. Overall poor rating was mainly driven by the rudeness of the front of house manager - as I would have given 3, or 3.5 rating. I’ll probably not return here again - a shame as we come to the Grand Park hotel every year, and have done for the past 5 years, so will go to the other restaurants such as Monte or Amagli amici over this - I recommend you do too.
Outstanding food, wine and hospitality!
Our second visit in a week - our first being so outstanding we had to book a repeat before we had even left! Firstly, the staff. Impeccably polite and professional, but also warm, friendly and engaging. Service like this comes with excellent leadership - the team are a credit to the maître d. This time we also had the pleasure of meeting Andreas, the head sommelier, and his new assistant. Andreas is incredibly knowledgeable about wine from all over the world but took time and care to introduce us to new and delicious local wines which was very welcome. Secondly, the food. We took the opportunity to have an almost completely different 7 course menu this time... but couldn't resist another one of the corn desserts. Truly spectacular - that ice cream is one of our top 10 desserts ever! The other dishes were brilliant and beautiful and so incredibly clever. The asparagus soup pre-appetiser, the Dentex fish dish, the lobster. All fantastic. We have had the luxury of eating out twice a day for the last week here in Rovinj, and I can honestly say our two dinners here have been the best. I cannot recommend highly enough. Hvala!

How this restaurant doesn't have a star is beyond us. Set at the top of the Grand Park Hotel most tables get a lovely ocean view. The menu consists of 20 dishes which you can choose either 5/7/10/15 or have all 20. We chose the 7. Standout dishes were the mushroom pizza snack, pea and prawn, scallop, pigeon and sweetcorn dessert. An excellent wine list is available to study before hand but the actual wine list is broader when in person. All the staff were very friendly and professional. One special shout out to Anastasia who looked after us all evening. Extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful. So good we cancelled another restaurant so we can return next week.
They did it again
And it happens again! Cap Aureo surprised us again, perfect kitchen, maybe one of the best in Europe. And it happens again, the desert let my tears flow! Not because I am so romantic, no, because it brought my Hormons again on a point where my brain needs a Ventile ….. Take the Corn desert - do it! And take the „Rhabarber“ desert. Thank you Cap Aureo
Simply Stunning …..
We had what can only be described as a truly stunning meal at Cap Aureo. It was a real highlight of our stay at the hotel. The service was impeccable, professional but also warm and welcoming. There was a vast array of wines to chose from. However, the highlight was the amazing creative food… absolutely spectacular. Obviously, it’s not a cheap place to dine… but in our opinion it was worth every penny. If you have the opportunity to go then we would not hesitate recommending it …..

2 Michelin Stars would not be sufficient! Andreas Zilli - an outstanding Sommelier!
Every year we come to Rovinj and usually stay at the Grand Park Hotel. This time for two weeks and went to several Michelin Star restaurants in town / ‚nearby‘. Having visited many 1-2-3 stars around the world, every year we are surprised that Cap Aureo still has not received at least 2*s. The variety & quality of the produce as well as the preparation and presentation are just remarkable. Usually, with every top restaurant, there is always this very one course that I would not order again. Surely not this time at Cap Aureo. What an outstanding dining experience! Since we are too Champagne & Wine lovers, when in Croatia we only drink local products. And we love that Andreas Zilli, not only a fantastic sommelier (former Rest. Monte) but also a remarkable story teller, is able to obtain some of the most outstanding white & red wines. We prefer the Croatian whites (best quality for me on a global level - highly underrated), even though we are usually Bordeaux & Burgundy red drinkers. Anyway, Andreas never lets us down with the wine-pairing and is game enough to think outside the box, offering experiences difficult to beat. Try it out ;-)) We are very much looking forward to our next visit. For Cap Aureo, I would love to see that star; yet not for us, since booking will become an even bigger challenge.

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Yes unfortunately they are finding more and more ways to lock up sellers money. Sell thru rate, refund rate, limiting withdrawal amounts ler day and per month (which for me are the same number which makes no sense). Lot of sellers leaving as you can see from the lifetime sales not really increasing. Most posts on here are frustrated sellers which is not a recipe for success
