Through a recommendation, I hosted a small dinner party
Through a recommendation, I hosted a small dinner party with close friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. This was the first time for all of us at Casa D'Angelo and it was amazing. From my first interaction with the lovely Paola and super GM, Armando to the night of where our server, Martine was so helpful, patient and timely. We enjoyed a feast from the appetizer to entree to dessert. Everything was delicious and every palette happy. We'll all be visiting Casa D'Angelo again soon.

Great togo order. All items were delicious and packed up with Love. The Angelo salad is my favorite! So good! All items ordered were excellent on this Togo run! Nice job!

We have eaten at Casa D'Angelo many times in Fort Lauderdale, at times it's great, and then other times it's less than mediocre. Last night was just awful! I started with an appetizer of beef carpaccio, which was very good, followed by sautéed shrimp with a combination of potatoes and broccoli, rob as a vegetable. Shrimp or so over cooked and tough that I had to ask for a steak knife to cut a shrimp! I complained to the waiter who took them back and less than five minutes later brought me what I thought were new shrimp also totally over cooked and inedible, one of my dining partners ordered the lamb chops, and they too, were over cooked and incredibly tough. Once again, we complained to the waiter, and he returned shortly with what looked like fresh lamb chops, which were still overcooked and inedible. I don't think that I'll be returning to Casa D'Angelo anytime in the near future.

This restaurant is where we picked to have my sons rehearsal dinner for his wedding. I have to say the staff and manager went above and beyond our expectations. We had a total of 46. The food was incredible. The staff was exceptional. 5 stars for the best service and quality of food . Highly recommend for special occasions .

Best chicken parm. White table cloth restaurant good for occasions, bdays, etc. Good for entertaining guests who come to visit. Good if you just want a good meal! $$ though.

I had the chance to visit Casa D'Angelo as part of a company dinner. While I sadly wasn't able to take any photos given the situation, I enjoyed the overall experience of dining here. It was really hard to choose what to order, since everything sounded so good - particularly the specials! Also, I have say, I was really impressed with how our waiter was able to describe the 10+ special items for us in detail from memory. In the end, I went with the bucatini cacio & pepe all'astice from the regular menu. The portion size was quite large, which was surprising! I feel like many similar restaurants tend to pare down the portion size, but my pasta could've easily served two. The lobster in the dish was plentiful and well-cooked, and I enjoyed the texture of the fresh pasta. I will say though, the sauce was VERY rich. Though it was tasty, I think it would be hard to finish an entire plate. For me, this is a dish that would be better shared around the table alongside something lighter, like a protein or a salad. My only major critiques of Casa D'Angelo concern the cost and some of the general upkeep of the restaurant. While the food is quite good, I find the prices to be a bit steep. My company treated us to dinner this time, but I'm not sure if I would return on my own dime - I've had equally good Italian food in South Florida for significantly less. Regarding upkeep, the decor of the restaurant was classy and the general ambiance was pleasant. However, in the smaller room we were in, there was a light that was flickering the entire evening. It was kind of annoying and definitely detracted from the experience. Given the kind of restaurant this is, the haunted house flickering light was definitely not on par with expectations. I'd say if you're really looking to splurge (and as long as you don't get the flickering light room), this is a good place for an evening out.
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambience and terrific service .
I had the veal chop with salad and tasted the seafood haddock main course. Both unimpressive. If I'm going out upscale I want to be assured I'm getting my moneys worth. I could taste the oil in the chop and thought the meat was terrific and cooked to perfection but the breading was flavorless and took it down 2 notches . Appetizers and salads were excellent. Coffee with dessert was actually great. How often does one comment on coffee.

We started with the Burrata delish! It's one of the few places we. an vet a decent Zucchini Flower, We typically share the tricolore salad. I almost always get the bucatini with lobster. It's fresh pasta. Love the sauce. They cool the lobster perfectly.Hubby gets the NY strip or the bolognese.Mixed drinks are strong. I only need one!My stepdaughter liked the rigatoni.

Tonight we enjoyed an amazing Italian dinner at Casa D'Angelo Boca Raton. The food was delicious with many special you do not normally find. With so many choices it was hard to decide. I had black spaghetti Fra Diavolo. Fresh lobster, shrimp, calms in very tasty red sauce. My wife had a whole fish, the cousin to the bronzino, which was a mouth watering delicate whitefish. Our server, Ozzie, made our evening very special, with many recommendations and very attentive service. To say the least we highly recommend this one of a kind very Italian restaurant

My boss got my a gift card so my husband and I decided to do a date night here.Parking was easy and valet was free!Woman at the hostess stand was very nice and sat us at our reservation time. The restaurant was pretty slow and very quiet. No real ambiance. Our server came over and brought us Bruschetta and cheese to start. It was pretty good. He went over the water options and made it intentionally confusing. He called tap water, Boca's finest so we told him we wanted "still water." We then ordered a bottle of wine. Casa D Angelo has an extensive wine list and it can get very overwhelming. I told this to the server many times but he didn't seem to want to help or even offer a suggestion.Next, we ordered our entrees. We had the Chicken Milianese and the Vodka pasta. The server seemed very annoyed that we weren't ordering appetizers or salads but we weren't that hungry.Chicken Milianese was very good and so was the pasta. The entrees were so large that even with sharing, we had a box to go. The gentleman who handled the cheese and pepper was very friendly as well.We were presented with the dessert option but still full from dinner. Once again, that did not make the server happy and we could tell. The bill came out and we were charged $8 for water. I brought this to my servers attention and he pointed to the water on our table. Real bait and switch. Overall, the food was great but the quality of the restaurant was brought down by our particular server.

My uncle and aunt recommended this place to us a couple years ago. Said it was a long drive from their place but well worth the drive. They were right. The menu is greatAnd the food is better. The food reminds me of Italian family dinners.
Be the first to ReplyFood and service was very good.
We always go when we are in Florida. The fish is always fresh and delicious.
Be the first to ReplySome of the best Italian food in Boca.
High price point but top quality food and vast wine list. I come here pretty often and try to change up dishes and haven't been disappointed. Service is usually good but the management needs to do something about the valet- they are unfriendly and do not take care of vehicles. I was approaching by car in the back of the building where they keep their valet lot and the valet driver didn't want to wait in line for the light and hopped the curb in someone's new S class. Hard to find good help these days but a high end restaurant should do a better finding people that a the first face at their establishment.

A nice modern vibe bringing you delicious Italian cooking. From someone who has been to Italy I can say this was very close, the pasta was fresh and the tiramisu was homemade. Overall W

Pasta was delicious! We went for a special occasion and enjoyed our time. We sat outside on the patio. It's a little cramped but it's very nice. Our food took a little while to come out but nothing crazy
Be the first to ReplySolid.
Not the best ever ever but solid. We made a resi and went on a Wednesday evening. Valet outside is great and the service was pretty good as well! This is a pretty pricey spot, heads up! Ambience is beautiful and they do have outside seating which is very nice. By 8pm it was pretty packed. They had a selection of 1/2 of wine bottles so we ordered a bottle of Pinot noir- very good. For starters they provide complimentary olives, bread, bruschetta. We also ordered Caesar (split for 2) and chopped Angelo salad, very good. For main we ordered special branzino, veal Parm and bucatini cacio e pepe with lobster. For $40 I'm not sure this pasta was worth it. Food was overall good and thankfully the Tiramisu was excellent! They charged $3 per cup for hot water and orange? Weird. But no surprise, it's that type of spot... we did like it however and the quality was good overall!

Classic Italian fare that doesn't quite live up to its price point. Enjoyed the outdoor seating area. Nice area, under full cover, though our table for 6 was a bit tight. We were simply too close to the wall and there was no wiggle room to be had, leaving me quite cramped. The adjustable 3 way touch light on the table was a big hit. Our server, Dina, was friendly and helpful. She did a great job of explaining the menu and specials. There were, however, so many specials that a supplementary menu would have been helpful. Just too much to memorize. We ordered wine. After striking out on two selections, we went with a 3rd bottle as recommended by the establishment. I'll admit, it was quite tasty. Normally, I'd have been a bit frustrated, but in these days with the supply chain being constantly interrupted, it's understandable. I went with a Caesar salad. Tasty version, though overdressed. Seafood tower special received mixed reviews from the table. My halibut special was good, though a touch overcooked. The veal chop special, ordered medium-rare, came out medium-well. The flavors and seasoning on my halibut was quite good. The veal chop not so much. The table as a whole gave the cuisine mixed reviews. We opted out on dessert. Decent restaurant, though at this price point there are far better local options to be had.
Be the first to ReplySecond time there, and overall experience dreadful.
Waiter was having words with another waiter, and the service was abominable! Food mediocre at best. Fusilli pasta dish was so heavy with tomato sauce and tasted like it came out of jar! With all the other fantastic restaurants, I would bypass going here!

Our Aunt and Uncle took us out for a celebratory dinner of a 50th birthday and Anniversary dinner. We ordered drinks, appetizers, main courses, and dessert. We ate at the pace the restaurant brought our food. Not five minutes after we finished our dessert the manager comes over to our table and asks us how our night was. We said lovely and she proceeds to say good we need the table. We had not received our check yet and had not been sitting there after we paid just wasting time. What was a lovely evening now has left all of us with a bad taste in our mouths. The manager should of checked with our server to see if the bill had been paid. If we were different kind of people we would have gotten up and said thank you for the free dinner, here is your table!!
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I went to this restaurant for the first time.
Her Galleto was tasteless and under seasoned. I've had Casio e Pepe all over Italy and this was the first time drenched in cream. Was really a Carbonara. A real Italian restaurant would know better.

If there was ever a city that had an abundance of Italian restaurants it is Boca Raton. Finding an outstanding Italian restaurant takes some time. One of my girlfriends loves this place and we went here for dinner tonight.Outstanded does not even begin to describe the food, the ambience, the service from Fabio. Wonderful bread service, excellent wine list and pasta that makes you want to give up any kind of diet that prohibits you from eating carbs -bucatini Cacio (lots of lobster!)-tortellini special with the most wonderful earthy mushrooms and cream sauce. Very decadent and had to take half of it home!!Two glasses of wonderful wine (Italian Pinot Grigio & a Super Tuscan) and wasn't able to save room for dessert which means we will definitely return. Truly a great experience and so glad to find this place!!
Be the first to ReplyWe had a reservation which was not honored.
We waited 20 minutes and the ladies at the Maitre D station were unhelpful not giving us any indication of when we would be seated.
Be the first to ReplyWe were once again spoiled by our friends in Boca.
The pizza bread they give you was superb. I think we ordered it 3 times. Calamari was great but my lamb was just OK for me. Being greek it seems only greeks can do it best. But still a great experience and very pricey but our friends were generous to treat.
Be the first to ReplyThe food here is off the charts delicious.
It's old school Italian food. The prices are quite high but you are getting what you pay for which is fantastic atmosphere, Great Staff and some of the most delicious food you will ever taste. Great restaurant for that special occasion
Be the first to ReplyOk so I grew up in boca and this place has my heart.
Even though growing up in town I really didn't start going like 3 years or so. I loooove their valet. I loooove their hostesses. I looooove their bartenders, and I've never came across a server I didn't like. The food is phenomenal I mean like yea, you expect it to be like the other Italian restaurants around but again, phenomenal! I think that's what makes them different apart from the other restaurants, the food is always up to par and to add on, the staff...AMAZING. They make you feel at home! No better feeling than that. Whether you sit at the bar (which is a bit small, but I'm not complaining about it ) or at a table you will be taken care of and also served delicious food.
