Best vegetarian roll in my life! sorbet and all the desserts were phenomenal. Lobster mac & cheese had no lobster in it. Don't bother ordering it. Drinks are well made . Recommend the mashed potatoes .

Amazing experience. Highly recommended. Slightly noisy when busy but service and food is worth it

It was a packed night tonight at CATCH but the service did not disappoint at all! It's a very upbeat , but subtle and pleasant atmosphere. The host seated us maybe 5 minutes after we arrived. Without hesitation we jumped right into our drinks and of course we need that sparkling water with some lemons on the side. I had the mojito and if was good . I did not get an appetizer but ordered the salmon and veggies and side of the grilled asparagus. I loved the crispiness of the salmon skin and the texture was perfect..the asparagus was perfect ! The branzino also was a hit and so was the lobster Mac and cheese ! The winner was the truffle fries believe it or not! They were so tasty. Overall this was definitely worth every dime ! The atmosphere, our server was amazing, food slapped and we all had a great time ! Will definitely revisit again !
Be the first to ReplyVery lively.
The food was delish especially the truffle fries. John our waiter was superb. He really knew the menu and sold the specials. They also made an excellent Hennessy Sidecar (not pictured) the tables for two were a bit tight but I would go again.

During dinner last Friday, one of the hostesses (blonde girl) was quite rude to my girlfriends and me for no apparent reason. Strangely, she seemed to be quite friendly and flirtatious with my male friends, which unfortunately ruined our overall experience.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a nice spot.
It has two floors. When I went I went to the top floor which is small and intimate. I ordered the Catch Roll, Crispy Shrimp and Nori Tacos. Everything was good! The sushi was not too oriental however it was tasty. I really enjoyed their crispy shrimp and their nori tacos. The service was decent. Price of the good is a little high however I guess it's comparable for seafood market.
Be the first to ReplyA great Asian fusion place with a great vibe.
They played all 80's music which was a treat for us. Service top notch. A must go to place.

Stopped here for happy hour before dinner! We didn't have a reservation - but if you get there early enough it's easy to grab a seat at the bar. We enjoyed martinis, the crispy shrimp, and the king crab hand roll. Crispy shrimp is my favorite but a large portion for 2 to share. We enjoyed it all though!

Great ambiance and amazing food! Great selection for a date or girl's night out! I was pleasantly surprised by the music playlist and caught myself singing and dancing at my table. Service was okay especially for a very busy Friday night. Despite having made reservations, my party and I still had to wait about 20 minutes before we were seating. Almost everything my party and I ordered was delicious. Must-have appetizers: Edamame, Crispy shrimp, Crunchy rice cakes Must- have Entrees/Sides: Grilled Branzino and Scottish Salmon. Truffle Fries, Mashed Potatoes which were so creamy and Grilled Asparagus Dessert: The Carnival is AMAZING! Cons: Mushroom spaghetti as it was overly salted

Good food and good service, but for the price there is definitely better spots in NYC. Lots of great flavors and fun night lifey vibe but a $50 espresso martini? No thanks.

Giving this place a 1 for their worst employee Andrea McCormick. Completely unhinged and unprofessional. Do not even bother with this place especially if you're dealing with this person.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was tasty but overpriced.
The cocktails were hit and miss. Service was well mannered.

Excellent food and service! We had the fries, oysters, and pretzel bites to begin. All were so good! For dinner we had the lobster Mac and cheese, 3 sushi rolls, and fish. All were amazing and to top it off, the drinks throughout the evening were delicious. We were invited up to the rooftop for after dinner and unfortunately didn't make it up there but hope to next time! Would definitely recommend!
Be the first to ReplyExtremely rude & racist establishment.
We were late because our Uber driver dropped us two blocks away. We called the host to let them know as we were aware of the 15 minute grace period. She assured us once we came in we could get seated and it would be no problem since we called. We approach the hostess stand and a she tells us otherwise. As we are trying to explain what we were told over our 1 minute phone call, she was very condescending and rude. I made mention I was unhappy with her service. Immediately upon my remark, she cancelled our reservation. Her reasoning was, I can't call staff rude and be seated. One manager (short gentleman) who was not around refused to seat us. Two minutes later, two Caucasian women who were 20 minutes late to their reservation were told to step aside so they can be seated. The hostess (manager) name was Lara.
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelmed by the food.
Good atmosphere but a little to noisy for my taste. Very average overall
Be the first to ReplyI'll start by saying the food is good overall, can't say
I'll start by saying the food is good overall, can't say I'm a fan of the ground tuna "cat food" mush they put on top of the crispy rice dish but the pretzel bread and spicy cauliflower are great. There are two things that lead to a 2-but-could-be-a-1-star review for me:1) service is obnoxiously slow/inattentive. We had a show so we did an early dinner at 5:45pm, there were 3 servers and at least 4 food runners working 4 tables. It took 25 minutes for them to bring a sprite and a soda - nothing fancy, just soda from a gun at the bar. And she stopped by once in the next hour to do a refill. That's it.2) the temperature. Oh. My. God. It's like roasting in the pits of hell. I was here a month ago and noticed immediately upon coming in that it was super hot, legit I was sweating through my shirt which I never do. It must have been 80 degrees in this place. I asked our server about it and she agreed that it was really warm and she'd see about turning it down but it's not normally like that. Fast forward to last night, I walk in and immediately I'm roasting. The person I was with wasn't the dinner a month ago and before I said anything he took off his jacket and said "I'm going to boil alive in this sweater I'm wearing it's so hot in here"I'll definitely never go back, no matter how good the food may be it's not worth walking out feeling like you need a shower after spending 90 minutes in a terrarium.

Oh oh, what was that? It looks like we *caught* another interesting one folks! Let's *reel* in this review....Go up a secluded elevator smack up into a crowded mess of people, a tangle of lingering customers cross-sectioned with rushing servers throughout the narrow spaces. I felt like a fish out of water! (Okay I'm done I'm stopping I promise). After making my way through the crowd dazedly I soon realized I had almost hit someone while taking my jacket off and I turned away so my rear end wasn't practically on their table. The tables were WAY too close together, and this was one of the first times this thought was on my mind throughout the meal. We were seated in two rows of two tops when before I'm guessing there seemed to be just one. If I dared, I could reach my arm out and touch four to five other tables- this definitely brings down the overall rating. I sound like my parents but I want to hear the person sitting across from me, even more, I want to hear my own thoughts! As someone who likes to order more than one dish at sushi spots, it is definitely on the pricier end to do that comparatively ($22 a roll, excluding the wagyu roll). My friend was still hungry after her salmon so she suggested we get a side of Brussels which I obliged. Maybe the brunch special would be a better way to sample more on the menu...If I wasn't really craving sushi and Brussels I don't know how my review would stand. It hit the spot for me. Both vegetable sides of the broccoli and Brussels are thoroughly cooked and well seasoned, and I hadn't had above grocery store sushi in a whileThe desserts could've matched the dinner and drink menu more, but we opted for the deep dish cookie. They seem to be catering to flavors and dishes that are crowd pleasers like the lobster Mac and cheese and wagyu

Been heard of Catch Nyc and Catch Steak NYC, but was not aware that this turns into a club after 11! As we walked in, we saw people finishing up their dinners, and before we knew it, it turned into a nightclub. Great bottle service for events and great drinks at the bar. The DJ on the specific night we went was amazing. He played all the modern music and had everyone on their feet. He even incorporated throwback songs.
Be the first to ReplyThe food quality has fallen off a bit.
Service was mediocre. Still good ambiance. Will try again at some point

If I could give individual ratings for my experience it would be:Bar- 5 starsFood- 4 starsAmbiance- 1 starService (waiter and hostess)- 3 starsApparently to give you an authentic seafood experience they pack you in the place like sardines. If anyone in the restaurant gets up from their seat, you feel it.The appetizers and entrees were delicious. The deserts were horrible. How do you mess up cheesecake in New york?!!!You come to this place because it was fun that once two years ago, not because it's a "great restaurant". There's nothing wrong with being a good-time girl but if you want an excellent dining experience this is not that type of restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyI didn't know what to expect.
.. Catch is obviously a chain of restaurants so my expectations were fairly low... HOLY SH*T we were blown away! The food, the drinks, the ambiance, the service!!! It was an incredible experience. I cannot recommend the truffle sashimi enough, as well as the Brussels sprouts and gyoza. The catch roll was super tasty as well, but a little too dense for my typical liking.I also want to give the biggest shoutout to Nathan, he was a gem and a half - gave us the best suggestions, kept us entertained and engaged, and was a pure soul. We will absolutely be back, and will request Nathan moving forward!

We were just there last week Thursday and booked the Rooftop Bottle service for my friends Bday. We came all the way from Brooklyn to find out the Rooftop was Closed ...hmm not exactly sure how they booked us for a party that wasn't happening and honestly if we knew that ahead of time we would have chosen another place since it wasn't just a regular dinner but an actual birthday party. Not OK
Be the first to ReplyCatch has really good food, that's not to be argued.
Even the drinks are pretty good (although somewhat pricey). The only reason I gave 4 stars is that it can turn into a zoo during peak times. I would not even try to go without a reservation on the weekends because you will simply frustrate yourself. If you want the best experience make sure you ask your waiter for their recommendations and you should have a lovely meal.

I had high expectations before coming here because my boyfriend used to come here all the time and raved about his experiences. I came here for a weekend brunch and the crowd at the restaurant was very lively. To get to the restaurant, you have to ride an elevator up. Our waiter was very friendly and was very attentive to us. We ordered a bunch of dishes that we all shared. We ordered so much that all the dishes barely fit on our tables. My favorites were the Tartare Trio and the Grilled Branzino. We also had the Lobster mac and cheese, but the dish came with barely any lobster on it. For dessert, we got the Hit Me chocolate cake. The hit me cake had a really nice presentation but was a little too sweet. Food was good overall and we also had good service.
Be the first to ReplyWe made reservations 2 weeks in advance for Friday at 9 p.
m. We were told to sit at the bar when we arrived at 8:55. At 9:30 I asked the hostess what was going on and she was extremely rude and dismissive. We wound up walking out after 10 and had dinner down the street at Thursday Kitchen and the food and service were exceptional.
