Cecconi's Mayfair London Reviews
Sun lunch
Extremely busy restaurant and understand why, great food and wine. Nice atmosphere. First time Iโve eaten there and would do so again in a heartbeat.
Highly Recommended
The food was excellent, the best cannelloni in London. Emmanuela and the team did a great job of looking after us with a great Primitivo wine recommendation. The atmosphere and vibes are always top. Highly recommended !
Glad to be back
We highly enjoyed our dinner on this very busy Friday evening, we had our booking couple of weeks ago. We were given the large table where we sat comfortably all of us ( group of 6 ). We enjoyed our tasty food Service is excellent Thank you Cha

Mediocre food the quality has Gone down
This used to be a good restaurant however the quality has gone down significantly. We were a party of 6 and we all thought that the food was just about average Two of us had the Veal Milanese and I must say the frring oil they used was really old and
Fast service, good ambience, celebrity hotspot
Staff were very accommodating and food was good. Great ambience and atmosphere. Even spotted a certain Prime Minister from 'Love Actually', casually going about his business!
Lovely lunch
Had a lovely lunch here with a friend. The service was a little slow but I prefer this to being rushed. Waiter very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The food was excellent. You get a lovely bread basket to share which was nice. Our mains were love
The first stop for every visit to London.
No trip to London is complete without a visit here. The food, wine, atmosphere, and service are all exceptional. We have had Donato as our waiter for our last three visits, and he has been outstanding each time. He even remembered us and what we orde
Poor service nearly ruins a nice restaurant
This isnโt the first time weโve been to the restaurant because we really like the atmosphere but Iโm afraid the service is very poor indeed. we waited for nearly an hour for our main course and before it was delivered a very cheeky waiter over
If you got over 2 hours to wait for food go here
Went for lunch. It took us over 30 mins to order the food itself. Over 90 mins to receive the food and the service overall was just bad. The food was alright hence the 2 stars but otherwise I wouldnโt have even given 1 star

Glad to be back Managed to find a table on this very busy sunny Front day afternoon ( around 18:45 ) Enjoying our drinks, starters then the mains Service is excellent as usual
Very disappointing
Very disappointing lunch. Very busy. No welcome on arrival. Expensive for very bland food. Pasta was tough and hot food served on cold plates. Our server was very polite but kept having to remind her of forgotten items. Didnโt like the fact that a
Beautiful space with extensive outdoor seating.
Unfortunately it can't be reserved and was full of people having drinks, taking advantage of the unseasonably nice weather. The hostesses were nice but spunky, taking no crap whatsoever. Our waitress was very nice. We had a stop and chat with h
Good service!
We were well looked after by Anton. Service was very good. Restaurant a little too noisy. Nice wine range by the glass / bottle.
Very disappointing experience
The hostess was friendly and the appetizers very good, but unfortunately that's all I can say that's positive. Our server abandoned our table after delivering the wine and before taking our order. Fifteen minutes later another server appeared, no sm
Family-Favourite!
Absolutely sublime. The staff were lovely, accommodating and the atmosphere accompanied this, with a quaint feeling amongst the sense that youโre in London, watching individuals go by. The food is lovely (the sorbet melts in your mouth, the meatbal
Delicious Tenfold!
Some of my family members have been coming here for years so upon their recommendation, I decided to give here a try and everything about it exceeded my expectations (which were already high from their stories!). The food was delicious, the atmospher
Wonderful lunch !
What a fabulous lunch ! Having been before we definitely wanted a return visit and it did not disappoint. Itโs a very busy and lively restaurant and we had the best seat in the house. The food was delicious, meatballs , bresola and branzino were ju

First time in here We highly enjoyed our very tasty food as well as our drinks Definitely will visit again to try the rest of the menus or just to sit outside in the sun - weather dependent - to drink coffee Staff are very good
Just the best!
A great restaurant with lovely food, excellent service and welcoming reception. Can't fault it. But it is expensive. ยฃ44 for a Dover Sole dish. So this has to be a luxury you can afford.
So disappointed
Came on Friday for a Birthday Treat and was really disappointed. We both ordered the Lobster spaghetti, which I couldnโt wait to try. The Spaghetti was quite tasteless and the lobster was so overcooked, It was like eating rubber, it was such a let
Excellent Italian in the heart of Mayfair
Very good quality Italian with people watching an added bonus. Right next to Royal Academy of Arts, Bond St and Burlington Arcade. Great service in classic Italian style and all food was very good and not crazily expensive. Highly recommended.
Go elsewhere. Lost its cool.
I have been visiting Cecconiโs since it opened. Used to have a great atmosphere and great food. Both have gone. Food and service sub-standard today. And the smoking area outside the front door definitely needs to be moved. Wonโt be returning. C
Had a nice lunch at Cecconi's yesterday.
The good: food is delicious (highly recommend the cauliflower appetizer and seabass main). Ambiance is nice and lively and location is excellent. The not-so-good: we had to wait a long time for service during and after our meal. Prices are VERY high
Great location with the Italian menu you would expect.
It is super noisy though and not a place to conduct quiet business unless you get a table outside. Everything tasted very fresh and the bartender makes good cocktails. On the night we were there the waiter was good but way over stretched so they coul
Incredibly painfully loud (unless you're at a football
Incredibly painfully loud (unless you're at a football match); large table of badly behaved drunk customers made it cringeworthy- and at only 5:00 pm! Service ranges from the hostile (hostess) to average in terms of friendliness and attentiveness. Fo
This place was wonderful.
From the food to the service. I highly recommend it. The only bad thing was it was a little loud in the restaurant.
Food was fairly good, but I've had better.
Service is okay, nothing special. Atmosphere is quite boring and mock tails are fine.
Elena was a superstar !!
We love Cecconis and came for a speedy lunch. Elena read the situation well and made sure we got our order in and sent off for mains as soon as we were finishing our starters. She personally served our drinks and made sure our bill was ready when we
Always a great visit to Cecconi's
My mom and I went here for dinner and we are always pleased with Cecconi's. It is one of our go-to restaurants every time we're in London - the service is great and very attentive, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is very good. We s
Amazing restraunt
Went to Cecconis, a favourite, fab food, would recommend - and if you canโt get a table then the bar is just as good. The dover sole is mouth watering. I would highly recommend the Zucchini fries as a starter.
Excellent execution and nice atmosphere
Excellent food and service at the bar. Impeccable steak tar tar and seafood bites. Beautiful interior and first rate service.
Pricey but worth it!
Classy traditional Italian restaurant with a real buzz which was full for the duration of our visit with diners waiting outside. Great menu, my tomato and burrata starter was exceptional in its simplicity and huge in portion size! Crab ravioli also s
Great location and space
Cecconis at Mayfair is one of the classic options for Italian in London. The place is very beautiful and always full of people and energy.
Beware of dangerous hot bowls.
Quite simply the bowl containing the very average gnocchi was dangerously hot and it burnt my thumb and finger. Rough and brown now. I canโt think of anything to say in this restaurants favour. Surly unapologetic waitress could do with some SSRIโ
I have been to every Cecconis around the world and this was
I have been to every Cecconis around the world and this was the worst service I have ever had. I went in without reservations and the hosts was very sweet and got me seat at the bar. For about maybe 15 minutes the guy working at the bar did not even
Disappointing
Extremely rude front of house woman with red hair who would only sit you at the bar without a reservation. Having been to Cecconiโs since 2010 it is sad to see this previously well-run restaurant fall into poor service. Regardless of service the fo
Super good! We stopped by after some shopping and museum
Super good! We stopped by after some shopping and museum visits, we were sat right away in a nice table by the window. While quite busy, we were still attended to quite well. We ordered a few dishes, everything was really good! We'd return next time
Best sharing menu !!
We dined mid week and the sharing menu was amazing. Large starters & main with a good selection. Nice cocktails & great staff.
Great food?!?
Sorry but this is far away of a good restaurant, the food is realy bad, the service,.. the waiter was in the same bathroom as guests, how is this possible? I dont really understand how this could be one of the best restaurants in London,.. only thing
Overpriced mediocre food.
The quality of the food doesnโt justify the over the top prices. The calamari was good but the tonnarelli was very salty and so was the ravioli. At ยฃ23 and ยฃ27 were extremely expensive for the quality. A very long wait between the starter and th
A charming restaurant with good food and international
A charming restaurant with good food and international acclaim. The eating area is somewhat small so a reservation would be a must.Almost skipped dessert but ended up enjoying the profiteroles.Pace of dining seems a bit slow. We didn't ask for more t

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Cecconi's Mayfair London at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Cecconi's Mayfair London page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
    1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* CandidReceipt32, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* CandidReceipt32 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to CandidReceipt32 for any questions Peter may have as CandidReceipt32 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* CandidReceipt32 now uses their connections at Cecconi's Mayfair London to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If CandidReceipt32 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, CandidReceipt32 receives the $200 reward which is credited to CandidReceipt32's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Cecconi's Mayfair London!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
