Cipriani Monte Carlo Monaco Reviews
Check Prices of the Aperitifs first
Another lovely experience and dinner here. We wanted a pre dinner drink and as we were not offered a drinks menu when we sat down we just ordered, bit of a mistake, my single G&T in a small glass with lots of ice cost me €34, with 4 of us we would have been better off by having that extra bottle of wine. The food was good but not exceptional considering prices and a simple bottle of Chianti was €90 and was just about the cheapest bottle on the list. The service was good (as it has always been for us). We did notice that it looked like the number of tables had been reduced slightly which made things a little more comfortable than previous visits although the restaurant was only half full at the 8pm sitting which is the quietest we have experienced. Overall we had a great night with good service, look forward to visiting again.
Bellinis and Pasta at Cipriani Monte Carlo
Ever since we tried their famous Bellini cocktail, we wanted to come here for dinner—mainly for the Bellini, but also for the food. When we got to Monte Carlo, we finally made it happen. You really need a reservation, the place is packed every night. We only managed to get a table for 10:30 pm. When we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing—music, chatter, people everywhere having a great time. The service stood out right away. The waiters showed us to the table, helped with my wife’s coat, and came back quickly with menus. We ordered two Bellinis (amazing, just as expected) and then went for pasta: baked green tagliolini with veal ragù and baked white tagliolini with ham. While waiting, they brought some appetizers which were a nice touch. The mains arrived pretty quickly. At first glance, the pasta didn’t look like what we imagined—but once we tasted it, wow. Honestly, some of the best pasta we’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, rich flavors, and filling portions. If you think you’ve had good pasta before, Cipriani might change your mind. We didn’t go for dessert since it was already late, but overall it was a great evening. Cipriani Monte Carlo is lively, elegant, and absolutely worth it if you want a real taste of Monaco’s social scene. Don’t miss the Bellini.
The Living Room
I came back and there was a beautiful news. At the first floor there is “the living room” which is just wow!!! Decor is incredible, so much heritage there, wow wow wow. Food service and ambience always top. The best as usual in monaco!
Amazing food,bad atmosphere and service
The food was so tasty and Amazing. We don’t have any complaints.Everthing was the best. the problem is the atmosphere,so many tables, full with people ,so noisy and so crowded.Tables super small and super short. Its hard to eat on so short table.Overt food is very good, atmosphere is very bad!
Amazing experience !
Went for diner with some family and I must say it was amazing. We had as starters some Buffalla & Ham parma which were really good and as a main course we had three different type of pasta (Gnoccis, Raviolli & spaghetti) these were absolutely amazing ! The taste was so good that we could not believe it . Finaly we had as deserts some cake and Vanilla ice cream which was perfect to finish the dinner. I will definitely come back soon and highly recomend it.
Good food, service is a bit of a hit and miss.
I am reviewing cipriani based on ambiance, food, and service. Ambiance: the place looks like other cipriani restaurants with a touch of Monaco and it is beautiful. There seem to be a lot of tables though which affects the service / experience. Food: the food is good and is comparable to other cipriani restaurants we tried previously. We recommend the shrimp curry Service: we were seated next to an aisle and we were ignored for some time as the staff were attending to other tables. Having the servers constantly pass by us to access silverware was a bit of an inconvenience. Upon receiving our appetizers, we were initially served the burrata without it being properly cut nor served to us; this was promptly corrected. The staff were very tentative after that and we really appreciated it. I would recommend this restaurant but try to avoid it during the high season as the service will suffer.
A good summary would be “overpriced fast-food”
We visited Cipriani last month and honestly it is disappointing. They charge +40€ for the artichoke salad, with comes without any condiment and does not taste of anything. The chicken pizzaiola floata in oil. The pasta is good. Dinner is served to you in 30 minutes in order to get you out of the restaurant and sell the table again. How can food be freshly prepared if it comes (literally) after 5 minutes of ordering. After that we were served the first course before finishing the starter, so it just sat there for 5 minutes while we had to devour the starter… Avoid if you want to eat (heavily) overpriced food just to sit in a kind of depressing dining room.
Amazing restaurant, superb serving!
What an incredible restaurant, super nice, very kind waiters, amazing food, attention to details it’s on the next level. Good job
