5-star but still family friendly
Lives up to expectations. We arrived to our room with a baby-cot in place, custom embroidered Claridge's teddy bear with our son's name, Claridge's sleep-sack and Claridge's baby towel. Incredible touches.
Be the first to ReplyA beautiful setting, exquisite service and amazing food.
We went with our family on a Saturday night as a birthday celebration, this place certainly delivered memories, what a fantastic and memorable evening!! The food was incredible every course was beautifully presented and tasted delicious the service was exquisite. Would I choose this place again? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! ticks every box, what a fabulous evening. Thank you to all the team.
Be the first to ReplyYou can keep your Ritzs and Savoys, this is my pick for old London luxury
One of London’s grand dames - less showy than some of the other historic london hotels this place oozes style and sophistication with beautiful deco features and a rich history - just ask the warm and friendly staff and they’ll regale you with tales! - plus if you like afternoon tea you won’t find better in London
Be the first to ReplyTremendous (as we expected)
Everything that could be expected in a high end hotel is here in abundance. Elegant surroundings, great choice of restaurants and bars, staff are clearly well trained and unobtrusive. We really look forward to returning soon.
Be the first to ReplyThe best five star I ever stayed at in London
The staff at the Claridge’s is amazing, and they care for their guests. You feel very home at the Claridge’s , the restaurant’s are all great especially all the staff in the restaurant’s. All the concierge’s are amazing, and the very best I ever interacted with In hundreds of hotel stays I have had in my life, note I am in my early seventies
Be the first to ReplyOur go to place in London
Claridges has the perfect setting right in the middle of Mayfair. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the very friendly and helpful Doormen You are made to feel like the most important person in the hotel. The rooms are superbly appointed with the most comfortable beds and pillows imaginable and the bottle of Champagne and complementary soft drinks in the rooms were very welcome. All of the facilities, including the new swimming pool are first class and not forgetting the restaurant where the food is exactly what you would expect in one of the worlds premier hotels. In the evening we totally enjoyed relaxing in the Cocktail Bar and The Painters Room but particularly enjoyed The Fumoir. My own favorite meal of the day is breakfast and the breakfast at Claridges is second to none. Prior to this weekend's visit we last stayed in December when the hotel was hugely busy with Christmas trade and at that time I thought that In the dress code wasn't fitting for a hotel of this type. However, Having visited again we have totally changed our opinion, after all their policy allows you to choose how comfortably or how formally you wish to dress for dinner. Overall, a fantastic visit, this will be our go to place whenever we are in London in future.
Be the first to ReplyMother’s Day afternoon tea - could do better
Of course the welcome, ambience and the food were great. However, our excellent waiter left half way through service, which we were unaware of until things started to decline; the table was not cleared once we finished eating and no further drinks were offered. I was also shocked that the prices were on the menu clearly visible to the recipient of the gift. We then had to ask for the bill multiple times to the point we had to get up and ask for someone to come over. There were clearly flowers being presented to other women on other tables which was a lovely touch however, when my mother received hers they first gave some to my father and then my mother and the waiters just walked off. Plus I did hear a member of staff swear to another which was extremely disappointing to witness in such establishment. Overall it felt as if due to our time slot (5:30pm) everything was rushed and an after thought.

Having stayed here multiple times, we thought it would be apt to stay here for around valentines. Claridges always makes me welcome and treats me exceptionally well. Had a personal note in the room from the general manager which was greatly appreciative. They were very accommodating when I needed a late checkout and the chauffer was smooth. Could not fault it and will be staying again. Rooms are actually well priced and quite spacious and up to date/modern decor does have historical vibe however doesn't feel tired or overused, if anything quite refreshed.

Just perfect in every way , staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special. The little touches in the room champagne , robes fruit etc all contributed to the occasion . Loved the automatic , heated toilet seat too. Fabulous breakfast , with so much choice , nicely prepared and served
Be the first to ReplyAn amazing hotel.
Everything about our stay at Claridge's was out of this world, excellent service and food and wine. Lovely little treats in our stunning room, friendly and helpful staff, we will definitely return again soon. E and J.
Be the first to ReplyThe Grande Dame is Back and is at the top of her game!
Claridge’s has always been one of the top hotels in London but let’s face it, over the years, it had begun to get tired. Not anymore! The hotel has been renovated top to bottom and is also expanding. Claridge’s advantages have always been extensive. It’s location in the center of Mayfair can’t be beaten and it has always oozed charm and class. The staff has always provided top notch service and it’s bar is one of the best in the world. This is why it has been a classic for almost a century. These strengths remain. The hotel, however, had been in need of renovation because the rooms, while classic and charming, has become dated. In addition, the hotel lacked a spa facility. The recent renovation fixes all of this. The rooms now are the best of any city hotel that we have been too. They are now truly beautiful in every respect. The designers have been able to achieve the impossible and have balanced modernity and tradition with perfection. The room facilities are first class with stunning modern bathrooms, amazing showers and air conditioning that can finally hold its own with global warming! The design however retains the hotels Art Deco traditions with beautiful parquet wood floors and attention to detail throughout. Claridge’s has regained its position as the finest hotel in London and indeed has to be a contender on any list of finest city hotels in the world!
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
The hotel is nice and the staff are great -- but there's something that was missing for us about the experience at Claridge's. Even with a very attentive staff, the hotel is a bit impersonal. The lobby is not at all inviting. We had dinner at the Foyer restaurant and the food was awful, though very pricey.
Be the first to Replyweekend break at claridges
as always made to feel like royalty from the minute you arrive until you leave, nothing is to much trouble and rooms are impeccable, nice atmosphere in bars and restaurant with exelent cocktails and food
Be the first to ReplyBest hotel in London
Amazing experience. The best hotel in London. Service, food, location, spa, sleep quality. Really top luxury. The team is fantastic, professional and helpful. Rooms are spacious and top quality. Heart of Mayfair.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect English tea
If you’re looking for a proper English tea you can never go wrong with Claridge’s. The atmosphere is lovely, the service so attentive and the teas are delicious. The sandwiches- not my thing but the pastries were yummy! The even gave us a special cheesecake as first time customers!
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding
Simply outstanding, quintessentially British to a tee! However not stuffy, or reserve, but still elegant, smart and approachable. We stayed for two nights and did a Timeless Escape in a balcony suite, which overlooking Mayfair was stunning. Parking was included was a nice touch, really helpful. We had dinner in the foyer restaurant on our first night which was great, everyone was smartly dressed and we had excellent service and some fun with our waiter - Yanis, who remembered us from a previous visit (all these touches make a difference). For breakfast we were relaxed in trackkes, sliders and T's and it wasn't an issue. The new spa (5 floors down) was sublime as was the room and overall attention to detail. We loved all the Damien Hirst details long with the incredible Stained Glass window which you could see from the ground floor. We couldn't fault it, it felt like home and we will be back - a new tradition has been born. Thank you.
Be the first to ReplyQuick get away
Everything at Claridge's was luxury. From the sheets and pillows on the comfortable bed, staff friendliness, beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby and in our room. The oersonel greeted us by name after meeting us once, and made us feel special.
Be the first to ReplyMemorable moment
The tea time was absolutely amazing. Chef’s Hauchard’s pastries are delicious and light and the experience was perfect thanks to Stephanie’s service. She is amazing and so attentive to every of our needs. A beautiful moment that we will remember for a long time. The French ladies
Be the first to ReplySuperb London hotel
My husband and I returned to Claridges having not been able to visit for several years and we were not disappointed. As usual the staff were wonderful and our room was lovely. We both slept very well as the bed and pillows are so comfortable!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Service and Location
This is my fourth trip to London and my fourth hotel. I have found my home. The service is exceptional throughout. Room exquisite. Restaurants and bars delightful. Location impeccable. A true treat. I can't wait to return!
Be the first to ReplyMagnificence in Mayfair
Perfection. Not one thing was disappointing. Exceeded our expectations at every turn. Yes, it’s expensive but you get what you pay for. The room was fantastic. The people working at the Claridge’s are mind readers. Every want and need was taken care of. Unparalleled service. We will definitely be back.

What can I say…perfect from start to finish. Attended my brother’s wedding reception at the weekend, it was amazing. Beautiful food, fabulous venue, it was just stunning. Our room was just perfect, loved it!!!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic
The renovation is first rate and nothing was spared. The new furnishings are super. The service is best in class. I think it might be the best of the best! I would not think of staying anywhere else in London.
Be the first to ReplyFinest hotel
I believe Claridge’s is the finest hotel in London and perhaps even the world. Very attentive (but not intrusive) team that made the stay very comfortable. The Painter’s Room is an ideal bar for a pre-theatre light bite and drinks. The Claridge’s Bar was sublime with lots of atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplySplendid hotel in the heart of Mayfair
