Very good, with some room for improvement
A really nice restaurant. Despite the dim lighting, you can see and feel that nothing has been left to chance. The reception and the entire service were excellent. Throughout the evening there were repeated opportunities to speak to the staff and the boss, which lightened the mood. The food was also very good, with a few minor drawbacks. 2-3 of the dishes from the kitchen didn't convince us, but the sea bream and the Sri Lankan curry, for example, were exactly what we were hoping to eat here. The dessert was served in another room, as is often the case when there is enough space. We went up one floor for it. A bit plush, but nice nonetheless. It's also worth mentioning the sommelier's great non-alcoholic pairing, which he presented to us with great enthusiasm. Thank you Cloudstreet.

Wonderful experience.. the food was not just nicely presented but yummy too. Well deserved 2 Michelin stars. We were seated in a private room, I think it will be more fun to seat at the counter to see the chef in action.
Be the first to Reply"Exceptional" is the only word to use
We ran out of superlatives to accurately describe our sublime experience at Cloudstreet. The experience was truly sensational. The menu a wonderful journey of gastronomy. This is fine dining at its best! From the moment of entry, we were immersed in a culinary theatre. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, incorporating the kitchen as the focal point and centre of action. The cooking, plating, serving and organisation was fascinating to observe. The precision amazing. Weโve also never experienced such personalisation and attention to detail from the many and knowledgeable staff members. Our hosts, Manuela and Chef Rishi, were delightfully engaging, often interacting with us and other captivated patrons. Each serving was a special surprise and the combination of flavours absolutely tantalising. Our Main courses of the Corsican Meagre fish and the Japanese Wagyu beef were outstanding. Dessert was served upstairs in a lavishly decorated area, adding interest and further extending our senses. The whole experience was exceptional and reflects the dedication and commitment to excellence of the owners and their team.
Be the first to Reply6 stars!
5 stars just isn't enough for Cloudstreet! We were unsure of what to expect from this restaurant as we had booked for a special occasion and really wanted to have great dining experience. Well, where do I start! From start to finish, Cloudstreet exceeded our expectations by the quality of the meals and snacks to the ambience, decor, waitstaff and chefs. You are truly dining in a restaurant that you'll never forget. You are not simply going out for a meal but rather a dining experience which lasted about 4 HOURS!! After the main meals you are escorted to another area of the restaurant to further experience dessert. Such a great touch as the ambience changed again whilst you experience and savoured the tastes of several delicious sweet treats and unwind with drinks.

Be the first to ReplyIf I could give 6 stars I would.
An absolutely outstanding experience. The food was interesting and exciting as well as delicious. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming and the service ran quietly and impeccably. Fine dining without the pomp. We loved how Chef (and all staff) took time to meet and chat with all the diners. It took us a while to work out who Chef was because he moved so unobtrusively amongst his team. They looked so keen to learn and have his guidance. Even though we were sitting next to actor Jason Biggs and his brother in law we felt no less valued. Jason and his friend made a mission of eating in good restaurants all round the world and they commented that Cloudstreet had been up the top. Definitely a meal to remember. We also loved changing settings and moving upstairs for the swet courses. Thank you for making my Dad's 80th birthday special.
Be the first to ReplyProbably best restaurant in Singapore
Been here about 4 or 5 times now with my wife. Weโve always gone on our anniversary as this restaurant is really special. And owners Rishi and Manuela are such lovely people. Thanks again for an amazing experience!
Be the first to ReplyAn amazing night with an incredible team
From start to finish, the meal was a feast for the senses and an experience that I won't soon forget. The first course, Grilled Oyster, Betel Leaf, Coconut, and Finger Lime, was a flavourful and unique appetiser that set the tone for the rest of the meal. The A5 Hokkaido Beef Tartare, Tororo Kombu was a beautiful and flavourful dish showcasing the ingredientsโ quality. The Dungeness Crab, Macadamia, Chamomile Jelly was another standout course, with the sweetness of the crab and nuttiness of the macadamia perfectly balanced. The Confit Potato, Smoked Herring, and Egg Yolk was a comforting and flavourful dish that was perfectly executed. The Grilled Jeju Island Abalone, "Majestic" Caviar, was another standout dish that showcased the quality of the seafood and the kitchen's expertise. The wines served throughout the meal were exceptional, and the sommelierโs expertise enhanced the experience. Each wine was carefully selected to complement the flavours of each dish, and the sommelier was able to offer insightful and engaging information about each wine. One wine that stood out was the Seppeltsfield 1919 PARA, which we were fortunate to taste. This rare and exceptional wine was a highlight of the evening, and the sommelier's recommendation was spot on. For dessert, the Soursop Sorbet, Juniper Berries, Kaffir Lime was a refreshing and palate-cleansing course that was a perfect end to the meal. The Watermelon, Pickled Kombu, Hay Curd, Salted Condensed Milk Ice Cream was another standout dessert that was beautifully presented and delicious. The restaurant's attention to detail and creativity was evident in every dish, and the service was impeccable. The sommelier's expertise and the exceptional wines served truly elevated the experience. If you're looking for a dining experience that will take you on a culinary and wine journey, this restaurant's set menu is to be applauded.
Be the first to ReplyNice food, friendly staffs and well deserved on the Michelin star
Visited Cloud Street back in April 2022 - it was a weird choice because the location used to be my previous office. Food was great with lovely service crew who are super friendly. Each course was introduced by someone who was from the country presenting the food that took inspiration from and it was such a nice detail. There were lots of course and I am spoiled by choices. After the mains, we were brought to second level the dessert chamber. Lots of desserts were served, they were very creative and interesting - not to my liking though as some of them were a bit adventurous such as tomato sorbet or chilli infused jelly. Overall it was a delightful experience and it was interesting to dine at a space which used to be my old office. By time I visited Cloud Street hasnโt received any Michelin stars yet and I was pretty sure back then they soon would. Great job on this chef and congratulations on attaining the star!
Be the first to ReplyExtremely underwhelming. Donโt believe in Michelin rating after dining here
Booking was smooth. Staff were friendly. Ambience was generally nice. Food. Very very contrived. Felt very forced. Almost every dish has something sweet on the plate thatโs totally destroys the palate. Most dishes had coconut as part of the ingredients. Too much. The elements on the plate did not gel well at all, for most dishes. Wines were extremely expensive. Felt like they know you do not really have a choice so they priced it as such. The pours were small too. The servers were nice. They try really hard but the food failed. Whoever planned the menuโฆ The desserts were also a letdown. Always some coconut hiding somewhere. It was so bad, we left earlier than expected. Please do check with them the prices of the alcohol offered at the dessert area. I am totally fine with paying 1k plus plus for a bottle of first growth etc but over here, everything just seems like a ripoff. After that, I do not really follow Michelin guide anymore when choosing a restaurant to go to.
Be the first to ReplyGood stuff
food was full of amazing textures and flavours (definately hard to find and interesting), service was friendly and accommodating to different requests, if u do most ex wine pairing, shd expect bill to be just under 1k and is more than enough to cover everything including add ons
Be the first to ReplyBest Meal Ever
I had one of the best meals of my life at Cloudstreet. The ambiance was wonderful, the staff was engaging and friendly and super informed about the meal and where the food was sourced. And most importantly, the meal was delicious and interesting, and fun, and beautiful. I cannot say enough good things.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing degustation experience. A must for anyone who loves the journey of senses!
Amazing degustation for the senses of taste, smell, sight and texture. Innovative unique cuisine by head chef. Love the experience of having desserts on another floor, almost like a new experience all over again! The wine pairing was also very good, had unusual wines Overall, very memorable and sensual experience! Worth the price!
Be the first to ReplyThe Allure Has Faded
My friend introduced me to this restaurant when she treated me for my birthday in August. I remembered it to be a very fun evening and we were so full. Fast forward to December, I wanted my family to have the same enjoyable experience so I've reserved a table for 3 at a whopping price of $378++ per head. Worked out to over $1400 for the whole meal with three glasses of bubbly. The experience was lackluster. Yes, they serve a tasting menu. But for that price, it feels like a series of canapes being served. The only highlight was the bread. Everything else was just bite size or can be finished within four slurps. The cheese course was hilarious as the cheeses were cut as small as they possibly could. Seriously - are cheeses that expensive that they couldn't just cut a little thicker? The wait in-between each dish was quite long. Perhaps that's why we felt the emptiness. Service was alright. The main servers were quite fun when we did interact. Otherwise, we were left on our own. The menu felt like a cop out. There was nothing festive about it. No attempt to bring Christmas into the theme. There was nothing fun or out of the box. I feel we would feel more fulfilled if we have just dined at Maxwell Food Market and a lot more forgiving to the wallet. Did I enjoy my first visit? YES. Will I return again after my second? NO.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic, unique food, excellent service and ambience
We came for our anniversary dinner and were very impressed with the food and service. The desserts were special, using savory ingredients. The husband and wife team run a tight ship and are very modest considering they now have 2 Michelin stars! Would definitely go back for a special occasion, as the tab easily runs over $1k for dinner.
Be the first to ReplyVery strict cancellation policy that is not well advertised and borderline misleading
I was excited to try the restaurant but we had some friends come into town at the last minute. The restaurant couldn't accommodate the increase in party size from 3 to 6, and wouldn't shift the date of the booking. They charged us the full cancellation fee and explained the restaurant had already purchased the ingredients for our dinner. Rubbish, it's just a money grab and poor service. We would have happily paid a partial cancellation and gone on a different day. I asked them if we could take the food they purchased to our home since it was "already purchased for our dinner" NOPE. Don't go here, anyone who handles customers this way likely plays games with their food orders, cutting corners and trying to make seafood and proteins last longer than they should in the fridge.
Be the first to ReplyExciting innovative Asian fine dining with excellent service & great ambience
My son & daughter in law treated us to a very special meal at Cloudstreet. We were given a great corner near the open kitchen. There were a constant flow of dishes (some small tasting plates), all well presented & some with exciting & innovative flavors(Japanese/Sri Lankan/Nordic). Some of the dishes didnโt quite work, but overall a memorable experience. Service was outstanding & friendly, & the owner chef Rishi & his wife found time to chat with us. A break from other fine dining restaurants, is we were taken upstairs for the final 3 desserts. This extended the evening, somewhat; but provided a change in scenery. The interiors are warm, colorful & almost theatrical . Overall highly recommended
Be the first to ReplyWonderful.
Lovely ambiance (great music), warm welcome, exceptional staff and terrific food. I must say that Cloudstreet exceeded our expectations. Every dish brings a wealth of surprise. Exceptional attention to details. Cutlery holder is changed at every dish to match the theme of what lโa coming next. Flavors bring you from Sri Lanka to Japan, with lots of different textures, not losing the original taste of the main component. Last but not least, the wine list includes a wide choice bio dynamic wines. In one word: wonderful.
Be the first to ReplyThoughtful, creative and delicious
One of the more unique tasting menus. There were japanese flavors like tsuyu with yuzu with kosho, a raisin puree that could have gone with every dish, bergamot, seltuce and other interesting plants. Expect a wild selection of seafood. Had the marron, pearl oyster, river eel and turbot--each with interesting combinations. The main dish was 14-day aged duck, cooked exceptionally well, but doesn't quite hold it's own as the flagship dish. Dessert was a big highlight for us. It had it's own charming dining area to get you ready for a whole range of unusual flavors. Just imagine enjoying any of these in a dessert: chilli, pink peppercorns, celeriac, capers and vegemite. To top it off, she made white rabbit to go along her thoughtfully made petit fours. All in all a great experience, with no less credit to the front staff.

A second visit marked by standout service, with intricate detail applied to just about every course and exceptional desserts served upstairs. The Head Chef stopped by every patron at the bar to introduce one course.
Be the first to ReplyCrazy price of wine but great food !
This is restaurant is near 5 stars but something can be accommodating is the wine corkage and 1:1 matching value. No doubt we enjoyed the food and the wine we ordered, but the price of the wine here is exorbitant! You probably canโt find many of oneโs below $200 even outside of the typical Bordeaux and burgundy. We purposely chose the Austrian and Germany wine that probably cross $200 mark and still a decent drink. The food is a fusion with Sri Lankan influence. 8 coursed new @ $320 per pax is quite worth it. Enjoyable the food with very great flavour.. savoury seafood like lobster soup to tenderness of the iberico pork are amazingly delicious! Special prepare fry ebi on pocket stick is very unique and great to have a sip of your wine too! The dessert served at level 2 are unique to enjoy the varieties of dessert that beyond my explanation. The port drink is quite expensive and better ask before you orders! It like $70 plus per glass ! Wow.. overall is great but discourage by the price charged on the drink it self. This would prevent me to come to enjoy more often even I like the food.. but I donโt like the price of the wine.. they are many places with 1 star Michelin served decent price range of the wine.

Well versed wait staff, ambience and exciting flavours made this a highlight of our trip. The food was impressive, menu was well thought out. The chef and his team were fantastic engaging with us throughout the evening. Not to mention they hailed from Oz made it feel like we were back home amongst friends. A must visit if you're in town. Well done Cloud St!
Be the first to ReplyGreat service but low value
The service at this restaurant is some of the best I have had in Singapore. They are attentive, personable and really care about taking you on a culinary journey. I would pass on the wine pairing and DIY your wine selections. The pairings are so so and they are very stingy with the wine pours per glass. The price you pay is about 40% than you wouldnโt normally pay for a similar dining experience in Singapore. The environment is great too. I wonโt be coming back based on the value you get as I would expect to pay around 800-900 for two people with wine rather than 1250.
Be the first to ReplyLetdown. Overpriced. Poor selection of wine pairing
Wine pairing failed, didnโt complement or bring out the food paired with. Portion of wine pairing also lesser than other Michelin restaurants. Staff was keen to offer extra add on drinks during courses that didnโt come with pairing. Food was generally sour or strong tastes leading to speculations on freshness.
