A lot better Indians out there for a lot less money.
Went here Saturday night and was extremely dissatisfied, everything I had was over spiced and far to hot,Iv had a lot better Indian cuisine for a lot less money than the £65 per head we paid, when I questioned the discretionary tip I was told that it
Fantastic food and a very extensive menu.

So delicious…
My wife, niece, and I had a terrific lunch here. We went along with the recommendations of the friendly and helpful staff. And wow the dishes were superb. Unusually for me, where the camera eats first, I forgot to take pictures of the main courses -
Worth the visit
Got reservations for dinner but was skeptical as its prefix 3 course. I prefer a la carte. Menu ended up being quite extensive! We were 3 and each ordered different dishes. We shared it all. Each was excellent. We loved all the food and the service w

Always wanted to visit and glad we did - we booked in advance which I'd recommend, even on a Weds at 730pm it was busy. A nice location off Carnaby St and in what seems to be a food court - all of the restaurants were busy. A lovely welcome and

Excellent restaurant but a tad bit pricy
We ate here around 6 pm on a Saturday with my 5-year-old, wife and best friend. We all loved it. There was no wait; the atmosphere was great; service impeccable; and most importantly every single dish was delicious. For dinner you cannot do a la cart
Darjeeling Express: Indian home-cooked food that even a novice can savour
I fell in love with the Chef's Table speciality of Indian home cooking at Darjeeling Express (I rarely eat Indian food!). . The lamb, beef, and chicken were tender and tasty, and the chutneys were addictive and made the free appetisers shine. My
Just like my Grandmother made

A Perfect Meal
Tried the set menu at Darjeeling Express and loved every bit of it. Flavours were rich, portions just right, and the service was incredible. The place has such a lovely vibe too. Absolutely worth it. Definitly going again😍
Honest review, walking in and perhaps due to rush hours.
Felt neglected and cornered but somehow my server Lulu noticed my energy and went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. Food spoke volume for itself but end of the day, one cares about how they are treated. Lulu made me feel like a guest in her

While it is near impossible to try every single Indian restaurant in London, if you ever get the chance, please try to eat at this establishment. Our server Radha was absolutely amazing in providing detailed information about the dishes on the menu,
By far my fave London restaurant.
We came for the fixed dinner menu and I think could eat their korma every day for the rest of my life. Cocktails are quite cool as well. Bought the cookbook before I left as an added treat!!

Had a wonderful meal at Darjeeling Express.
The restaurant is in Soho which is a very cute part of London. Apple maps lead us outside the building, but you have to make your way into Kingly Court to find it on the top of floor near the lift. The service was loverly and the atmosphere magical

Very excited to visit this restaurant.
The experience was casual, yet very comfortable. The waitstaff was excellent and the service was top marks. The lunch began with a few of their indian toasties--for you Americans, that's a grilled cheese. We then moved to some little puchkas, pockets

Over-priced
Ludicrously expensive - £65, set price- for what is basically ordinary indian food. A lot of little dishes, but they charge extra for even something as simple as prawns. Avoid.
Atmosphere is light with a warm feeling of India.
The food is of home and any Mother would be proud you found a good substitute. The staff makes you feel relaxed and welcomed and I can't wait to go back and try more treasure of India.

Gawd!!! London is known for great Indian cuisine.
So it's no surprise to find a solid restaurant but holy shot this food is kick ass. The staff know what you need and guide you through each flavor. The paneer alone is kiss yo momma good, but the goat and chicken curries holy hell good.
Really outstanding food and drinks.
Surprising as I've found most high end Indian food tends to be average. Not here. And outstanding service!
- excellent Indian cuisine - really enjoyed the chicken

I found out about this place on Chef's Table.
I was excited to try it out when we visited London recently and I am so happy I did. We went for dinner to try the Royal Thali. Certainly more pricey than I typically dine but it's special so why not. Wow I loved it!! I picked the chicken and prawns

What a lovely little place.

Fantastic new location
A great new location for Darjeeling Express. Food and service was excellent. Love the ethos behind it. Asma took the time to come and talk to us which was lovely.
Ultimately disappointed.
Dinner with long standing friends, shown to our table at 7.45pm. All started off so well, drinks ordered, then to the food order. I fancied the beef, advised no beef! It’s a set tasting menu why wouldn’t you have all of the produce? No matter,
Lovely meal at Darjeeling express
Went to Darjeeling Express yesterday and had a lovely time. New restaurant looks fab and is much roomier. We had a real feast. Lots of food and everything tasted amazing. We particularly loved the chickpea and chicken starters. Our waitress was lovel
