We celebrated our anniversary in this beautiful Italian
We celebrated our anniversary in this beautiful Italian restaurant with great views overlooking the iconic Marina Bay Sands! We had reserved an outdoor table for the occasion & was happy with the seating. The staff were were friendly! We had a welcome snacks of Chef's choice which was lovely. For the meals we opted for Ala Carte & had their recommended red wine for the night. For appetizers I chose the Polipo- The Pan seared octopus & my hubby had Uovo- Crispy organic egg! Both were delicious & very tasty. For our main course, I opted for Mantova's Risotto, which had the perfect flavor & the truffle made it so yummy. My hubby had Carbonara which they agreed to replace the meat with chicken! It was the best carbonara he ever had in Singapore! We were very satisfied with our choices! For dessert, we had ordered Tiramisu which was very different to taste than what I have had my entire life, so this was something I didn't enjoy at all! It was very sweet of them to serve us complimentary dessert for our anniversary- a red velvet cake & it was amazing! The service was bit slow as I felt there was only one waiter serving for all guests seated outside! We also received 15% discount for using our city credit card.. which was very nice! Overall we loved our experience & will be back soon.

Great Italian food and very attentive service. Price is reasonable by Singapore standards and you get a lot of choice in the food. Very good ambience as well with pool side views and the impressive MBS in the background. Located in the Mandarin Oriental hotel.Solid 4.5 stars!

Recently I have brought my mother to lunch at the restaurant which was located by the pool side. There was indoor air con and outdoor alfresco dining. We decided on indoor as it was pretty hot that day. We were showed to a table with a nice view of the pool. Although it was week day, it was quite a crowd at the pool. There was lunch set (S$38++/2 course, S$46++/3 course, S$54++/4 course) for week day. After placing our order, we were served water, crusty bread and butter. The bread was soft and pillowy.Orecchiette alla NorcinaSignature Umbria's pork sausage ragout, spinach, pecorino Although simple looking, it was quite tasty.RisottoSpecial selection Acquerello rice, mushroom ragout, truffle scentIt smell quite nice when served. The rice was savoury and well cooked. Quite a heavy serving.Panna CottaVanilla panna cotta, berry coulis, berry spongeThe custard was smooth and milky, without too sweet. We ended the meal with coffee. For a quiet week day, the restaurant attracted quite fair bit of crowd for lunch.

Host is friendly and welcoming. Gone through 3 lovely appetizers and they were nicely presented and tasted wonderful. The mains were equally good. The disappointment was the desserts were mostly sorbet. All in all a good place for causal Italian.

We have been going to Dolce Vita every year for our anniversary since arriving to Singapore. I am Italian and miss my Italian food very much and have always been so impressed with how fantastic the food tastes. The ambiance is fantastic and the service is phenomenal.

Good things never come cheap and I have to agree that it's for a valid reason. Priced too low and it'll be flooded with all the bargain hunters. A usual spot for my girlfriend and I, both of us enjoy the starter of freshly baked bread with olives a lot. We go through the loaves so fast that we end up being too full and having to go with the lighter dishes like pasta instead. My favourite has to be the osso bucco, one of the best I've had so far and I find myself ordering it over and over again on return visits. Coming in a close second for me and first for her would be the beef tenderloin with foie gras. The place in general is quiet, and we like it that way. Dinner conversations are always a joy to have without having to scream to hear one another. We've heard that brunch here is good as well but have yet to try it so far.
