Frightfully expensive
Food was excellent. Service was great but very very expensive. $80AUD for two juices, two breakfasts and one coffee. Wouldn’t go there again

Really friendly staff and tasty food! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. The crumbed eggs and pulled pork on sourdough toast was 10/10.

Be the first to ReplyDecent brunch food, big portions
Brunch affair this morning at Earlybird. Secret Breakfast - Cornflakes coated French Toast with thick cut bacon and drizzled with Maple Syrup. The bacon was abit too tough, I think a thin streaky crispy bacon or thick cut ham would be better. The French Toast was a bit over-fried, losing the fluffiness of the thick toast. Fried Chicken & Pancakes - Chicken was well fried and juicy, without oozing oil. Crispy skin and flavourful. Pancakes were too dense and not fluffy enough, I had higher expectations of a buttermilk pancake. The cute barrista looked so serious and focused at what he's doing I felt obligated to order a coffee, hence the soy mocha. Couldn't resist Täter Tots but this wasn't worth the $12 price tag. The Siracha Mayo was abit too spicy for my liking, the bacon bits were just too little. Portions are pretty huge here too. They were also understaffed, practically with just 1 person outside managing the floor, taking orders, collecting payment, preparing beverages, serving and clearing tables + 1 other in the kitchen. More help came only much later. Having said so, service was still prompt and professional. I was particularly impressed he addressed me by name when leading me to my table, guess I was the only one who bothered making reservations.

Glad to find this within walking distance while on staycay. The secret breakfast delighted my older boy while my younger boy pestered for a second serving of the truffle cream pasta. It came with thick cut bacon which was delish. Had the spiced chicken and corn which was fragrant while not too spicy. We were too full t try the hotcake bling which looked really pretty. Thankful we got there early as the tables were quickly snapped up during lunch hour. Hope to be back to try other items and the lovely cocktails~

This is a mostly a day time brunch / lunch venue. Serves good coffee and offers alcoholic drinks too. This time I went for the tom yum prawn laksa. Tangy taste mixed with tomato base. Pasta was done al dente. I like it, accompanied by 5 huge prawns.

Super casual with awesome food 👍 We had ‘Going bananas’ & the crumbed eggs on toast, both were delicious and coffee was great, we’ll be back for sure!

Be the first to ReplyAnother winner- tomyum prawn pasta
The sweet and sour taste is so well balanced for the tomyum prawn pasta! Simply delicious! 5 large prawns. Today’s happy hour wines are white sangria and red sangria.

Not a bad cafe but not great. Food seems to be overpriced, the steak was so chewy even when you cut it into small pieces you almost have to swallow it whole. Service was good though but will try the other cafes around before heading back.
