Eastern Standard Kitchen and Drinks Boston Reviews
wouldn't bother there are too many other good restaurants in Boston
Sub par food and service. Drinks were good but unfortunately when I looked again at my check after leaving the restaurant I was charged for a drink we did not order.
Still Fine Dining
This new version has more esoteric choices than its Hotel Commonwealth predecessor. The location is more difficult to find and to get to, although, if you donβt mind spending $25.00, parking is convenient. The wait staff is pleasant and knowledge
Good Food and Drinks before Event
A group of us had reservations here before a concert near Fenway. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and was lively but not too loud. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the NY strip which was good and cooked well. Everyone else enjoyed the Mus
Great overall
Serving dinner within 5 mnts of ordering is somewhat unbecoming feels a bit like fast food at ES prices. Otherwise a fun place to entertain.
Disappointing New Yearβs Lunch
Hadnβt yet visited the βnewβ Eastern Standard but was hoping for a fun, clubby, intimate experience with great food and service. Instead we were faced with very loud, bad music from a DJ, and a brightly lit, cavernous room. Food and service wer
Delicious food at reasonable prices hard to find in major cities
Friendly staff and reasonable prices all of our entrees were delicious. Would definitely return. So hard to find good food that isnβt overpriced in major cities this restaurant hit the mark
Fun night at a beautiful restaurant in Boston
This sweet French pub offering fair priced menu options was a great choice for us. Our waiter Chloe was attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. It's a beautiful setting with multiple places to eat with a huge bar. It was a bustling scene on
Disappointing return to old favorite
I wish I could give a more positive review for our first visit to the new Eastern Standard, which was a favorite in its old location. The Monday special, veal schnitzel, was lukewarm and a bit rubbery. The french fries that came with a pretty good bu
We have been fans of Eastern Standard in the old location
We have been fans of Eastern Standard in the old location but 1st time at the new location. While the vibe is not the same, we miss the checkered floors and old school vibe, the food is just as we remembered. We had great cocktails and wine, and orde
Do not miss this gem in Boston's Fenway!
Fantastic pre-Fenway Park concert dinner. Once located at the Commonwealth Hotel, Eastern Standard has created a beautiful venue here in the Bower Apartments located between Beacon Street and David Ortiz Way. Like Ortiz, it hit a home run! The Maryl
A donβt miss spot near Fenway!
Delicious and hip place to enjoy a bite. We went before a concert at Fenway and it was perfect! Portion sizes were surprisingly generous and food quality was excellent. One in our party had a food allergy and they accommodated without hesitation!

Best Server Ever!
Best server ever! Name was Angile or Angel? Kindest person, helped us celebrate our special occasion and arrange our trip home. Thank you, much appreciated! Otherwise, the space is large, clean and pleasant, the food tasty, and the wine / beer list
Superb food and service
You will often hear locals complain about the new location of Eastern Standard 'not being as good as the original." I thought this one was pretty terrific. Located near Fenway park, you will find traffic and parking to be challenging on a gam
If you have not tried the new Eastern Standard, you should.
My son and daughter and their spouses and I went Saturday night, The food was as great as the service. Parking was easy . It was a great night. It is not cheap but is a lot more reasonable than the steak places and the Seaport, Try it. On Beaco
Outstanding Service and manager
Went to Eastern Standard with a friend that made the reservation. The food was very good, although they could use some more comfort items like french onion soup rather than some of the odd menu items. The atmosphere is great and the service was even
Yearning for the Old Eastern Standard
Garrett - I spent many happy times at Eastern Standard, one of my regular go to restaurants. The new one has the same great food (especially the profiteroles) and service. However, the whiskey smash is mostly ice and very little liquor. Tasty, but de
Eastern Standard... Ain't what it used to be!
The early reviews of Eastern Standard 2.0 were glowing, which made me eagerly anticipate the return of this dependably great restaurant. Sorry to say it's not what it used to be. First, the ambience is in between a corporate dining room and a generic
Good Food, Drink and Service!
Apparently we ate there in just the second week of operation for Eastern Standard in this new location. Beautiful restaurant, great lively vibe, skews younger but us retired folk felt at home there, too. Wonderful cocktail offerings; I had the Saze
