My wife and I were greeted by the manager Luis who was extremely hospitable without being overbearing or forceful. Great genuine conversation and the food was delicious. The gnocchi and croquettes were a hit and drinks were crafted to perfection

Perhaps the best fritto misto ever!!! One of had the pasta con cozze (mussels), the other the lasagna, and both were v close to perfection. And as lunch specials, the price for the mains ($25) was UNBEATABLE. Highest recommendation.
Be the first to ReplyI've had brunch here 3 times over a 10 month period.
My first two experiences the food was great though the service slow. My third time I was embarrassed that I had raved about the food to my friends who I took there. My third trip, I again ordered the vegetarian frittata. This time there was no magical parm cheese whip and no toast. Shrink-flation hit. The eggs were burnt and the veggies not as fresh. Very disappointing. My friends also were disappointed with their entrees.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent meal.
Bar tender Victor was very personable and the interesting drinks were very good. Happy hour Italian sangria was great accompanied by a complimentary bites board. Service was great. The grilled Octopus appy was tender and delicious. I had the wild boar ragu and my wife had the Tuna. Both were delicious. For dessert the profiterole and tiramisu were the best. Great ambience. More quiet than most and the lighting is kept low. Overall I highly recommend Mareluna.

We made a resy for the winter restaurant week and I must say you will def be full by the end of your meal which is a good sign! Appetizers: - tuna tartare 3/5: this was super bland for both the tuna & avocado - would not recommend - seafood soup 4/5 with clams & cod fish and many more this was filling and creamy - paired well with the bread Main: - lobster ragu 3.5/5: it has some lobster and the sauce itself was a bit bland - octopus ragu 3/5: this was even more bland - mushroom gnocchi 4.5/5: sooo flavorful with the truffle and mushrooms - love love this - probably my fave thing here Dessert: - tiramisu 4/5 - cream puffs with ice cream 4/5

We made a reservation here for winter restaurant week and were excited to try a new addition to the growing list of Italian restaurants in NYC. The service was pretty good, the staff were attentive and frequently checked in about our meals. Despite only being 5:30, they had run out of burrata, which was unfortunate. However, we ordered the eggplant appetizer, which was excellent! The tuna tartare was fresh, and the avocado cream and flaky sea salt were a nice touch. The gnocci was expectedly heavy, but flavorful and delicious. The lobster ragu had a decent about of claw and leg meat, though came out at room temperature. The desserts were fantastic. Overall, we left satisfied and full!

Can you leave 0 stars? Came in for a quick lunch and what disaster it was. If you want anything to be fast, forget about it. There were four people in the restaurant and no action to remedy. Will never return to this incompetent establishment.
Be the first to ReplyThe worst place I've ever been to.
The service was atrocious. They messed up my order and waited 50 minutes for it to be fixed . Ordered a caprese sandwich and my fiancés meal came 30 minutes before mine . Do not waste your money or time coming here. Truly the worst experience I've ever had in NYC.

In town for the weekend! Saw this placed and checked it out had the lobster ragu which was tasty! Our server Kevin was excellent constantly checking in on us making sure we were good! Definitely one of the best servers we've had this weekend 10/10
Be the first to ReplyThis place was very mediocre.
The Aeperol spritz tasted off, the meatballs and tuna tartare were underwhelming, and my octopus ragù didn't come with the tomato sauce the menu mentioned. The cacio e pepe was tasty. Good ambiance but cheap and not very comfortable chairs. I Wouldn't recommend
Be the first to ReplyMareluna is an amazing Italian restaurant in Flatiron.
They have a great happy hour special everyday until 7pm that comes with some little snacks on the side. The dinner menu has a good amount of options and is also reasonably priced for Manhattan. I highly recommend the grilled focaccia that comes with a delicious arrabiata sauce, and the fritto misto was fried to perfection. For my main I got the ocotpus ragu which was unique, and super delicious with a light tomato sauce. The lobster ragu was probably the best thing of the night though and had a creamy tomato sauce with perfectly al dente rigatoni. I would definitely return!

We were redirected to go here after we reserved a table at their sister restaurant, Mareluna, due to their building emergency. When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly empty. Upon being seated, we were offered the restaurant week menu which was similar to Mareluna. We ordered 3 restaurant week menu & one regular menu along with some drinks. The service was quick & the ambiance was nothing out of ordinary. All good until my daughter found a " hair" on her dinner plate. Yikes!!! Even if the manager & chef came out & apologized, we already lost interests in their food. I felt bad for my niece who was visiting us from overseas,& who apparently did not enjoy the meal.I will not go back there nor to their sister restaurant.

Came here for brunch and the food was delicious! I was here during restaurant week so I had the frittata and then the French toast. The frittata was delightful, fresh vegetables and the harissa and Parmesan whip were super flavorful. The French toast was great as well. I'm looking forward to returning.
Be the first to ReplyI had a wonderful first time at this restaurant.
The staff payed attention to my needs and accommodated me and my friends during our outing and the manager was kind to offer us recommendations . The food I ordered was perfection , the steak was beautifully medium rare and the potatoes were light and crispy. The portion of the food was satisfying and far from being overwhelming. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting , it complemented a girls night out . We will be coming back and suggest this establishment to anyone looking to unwind with good food and drinks.

Went today for restaurant week and had a very beautiful meal with great appetizers and dessert and lovely service. Not your run of the mill Italian restaurant, and I would definitely recommend it. We had:SMOKED BURRATA & NDUJACalabrian nduja, cherry tomatoes, salsa verde, pistachio - The spicy sausage was terrific and I really enjoyed the smoked burrata.CROCCHETTE DI PARMIGIANASlow roasted eggplant, san Marzano, parmesan espuma, basil - This is a must-have. The crispness of the outside of the croquettes provides a lovely contrast to the creamy eggplant in the middle and the Parmesan cheese is made almost into a moose that you dip pieces of the croquettes into. Absolutely wonderful, and beautiful to look at.LAVENDER & CITRUS SEMIFREDDONougat, citrus medley, lavender cream, candied peels, pistachio - I am not generally a dessert person and would not necessarily have ordered one but the manager convinced me to take a dessert, so this is the one I chose. I have never had anything remotely like it, and it was fantastic. The candied peels are made of bitter or blood orange and are like marmalade without any of the jelly. It also had pink grapefruit and sat on a bed of citrus. The frozen nougat was covered with lavender cream. And there was a bit of a crust of some sort holding the whole thing together. It was amazing.I'm also including photos of these three items.

Came in for restaurant week with some girl friends on a Wednesday night. We had a reservation, but it wasn't showing up on their end for whatever reason, luckily it was empty and they were still able to seat us. We were offered the regular menu and restaurant week menus in addition to the wine/cocktail menu. We wanted to order a bottle of wine and asked to taste the one we were eyeing prior to them opening a new bottle for us, we liked it and ordered it. A few minutes later the waitress came back and said they didn't have any bottles left, which I feel would've been good to know ahead of time, but not a big deal. We ended up with the montepulciano, which was ok but definitely overpriced for the quality of the wine. For the food, best appetizer was the eggplant croquettes. My friend also for the smoked burrata, but it didn't have that creamy inside and she felt the nduja was a bit spicy. All three of us found our pasta entrees (we had pomodoro, cacio e Pepe, and the wild boar) to be very salty and only ate about half our actual meals. For dessert, we got the profiteroles, which was extremely underwhelming and disappointing. Overall a very expensive meal for the quality of the food and wine. Service was really great and the only reason for the fourth star.

After waiting at the hostess stand for 8 minutes without any eye contact from the waitstaff, we were unceremoniously escorted to a table. In accordance with the typical restaurant ritual, we were escorted to a table and allowed to peruse the restaurant week menu before being interrupted to confirm whether His Manager had told us the restaurant closed at 10pm; it was 9.48p. I don't know know whether the subtle discouragement to dine here was related to my boyfriend's Afro or just their fatigue at the end of the day. Suffice it to say, this was a wholly disappointing NYC dining experience at the end of a long work day for both of us.

New restaurant! We went on a weekday night and we were the only people. Place is cute and cozy and has a little separate room for a larger party with great floral wall decor. Menu is paperless, scan only. All the apps we ordered were delicious. The tuna tartar, the burrata and the bread were on point. (Burrata was my fave) The bon marrow ragu was my fave for the night . And the fried chicken is huge! Definitely can feed two, unhealthy but delicious. The steak was just okay. It was more on chewy side. I wish it had more flavor to it. Will not be ordering that again. For dessert tiramisu' was also pretty good, not too sweet.

Sister restaurant of one of my favorite Italian restaurants- Mareluna, I had high expectations visiting Erbaluce. Happy to say the food, ambiance, service and vibes exceeded expectations. The inside is beautiful. I had the Volare drink as a mocktail which was so refreshing. For appetizers we had the smoked burrata without nduja, which was soo good. It was my first time having smoked burrata. Also had tuna tartare which was served with crostinis. For entrees we had the pomodoro fresco, which easily became our favorite. We had it served with Stracciatella which was absolutely delicious. Literally you cant leave this restaurant without ordering it. Also had their cacio e tre pepe, can never go wrong with it! Ended the amazing meal with profiteroles and affogato for dessert. Everyone was so kind, and I wish all the best for this new venture!

Happy Grand Opening Day! We went yesterday for it's soft opening, and it was a beautiful bistro with lovely food! wheretraveler.com/new-yo…^Ironically I had those same exact dishes! Frutti del mare is always a favorite, as you can't go wrong. The pasta was infused with spinach (hence the green color) and the plate was sprinkled with breadcrumbs, for an added crunch. The pasta was al dente, and was a mix of salty/sour that that dish needs! Also had the Roasted Romanesco & Stracciatella cheese antipasti which was recommended to us by our waitress, Nomi. We're normally not a fan of mixing sweet and savory together (sorry!) but this dish was very good--romanesco was grilled to perfection, not burned. Mixed well with the honey and raisins and cheese. All the flavors blended in together nicely. Thank you for an amazing dinner! Will post pics later :)
