We had a reservation at this restaurant and we had to push the lady at the reception several times before being seated, with a long delay. The place was overcrowded and honestly I do not understand such long queues given the overall experience. The starting buffet is good but then meat is served too fast, and it's difficult to enjoy food. Due to the crowds, waiters tend to quickly give you the bill to prepare the table for other customers. For the individual price paid, there are definitely better options in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent selection of plates. Attentive staff. Adequate for couples and family and also for solo. Delicious desserts.
Excellent service and delicious meat. Staff is helpful and attentive. Many options to decide and good selection of plates. Margara was very professional and attentive.

My son and I enjoyed the meal. The have a very large salad bar with many selections. The waiters were attentive, and kept the food coming. We did not have reservations, but we’re seated quickly. I have one complaint, at the end of the meal, a server/bartender comes to the table offering some sort of Brazilian cocktail. Stupidly, my son took the offer. Anyway, it’s around 15-18 dollars. I should have known better, or asked.

Restaurant was extremely crowded with as many tables fit in as possible and felt and looked like a typical buffet. We had hoped for a nicer experience.
Be the first to ReplyAn Excellent Red Meat Experience
We spent Thanksgiving Dinner in Las Vegas at Fogo and left satisfied. Read on for details. The standard dinner at Fogo's has two features: 1] An expansive salad bar, probably the best I've ever seen and suitable for vegetarians; 2] An orgiastic carnivorous experience brought directly to your table. After a small warm up at the salad bar, I had top sirloin, bottom sirloin, ribeye, porterhouse, lamb and maybe one or two other cuts, all cooked rare-to-medium rare as I like. What can I say...overall the meat was excellent. For my taste, there was too much salt and I could often crunch the kosher salt crytals on the meat. Other criticism: I don't know what they do to the broccoli and cauliflower on the salad bar that makes it soggy and bland, but they should stop. There is an extensive list of wine-by-the-glass as well as by the bottle that is reasonably priced. Cautionary note if you are thinking of coming on a holiday: Book your reservation earlier in the day than you think is necessary. We arrived on time for our 4:15pm reservation and were not seated until 5pm, nearly ruining our show plans for the evening. We enjoyed our meal and would gladly return.

We went to Galpao Gaucho about a week ago and Fogo doesn’t even compare. We sat for 25 minutes and had our green tags flipped to “ready to eat” for over 10 minutes before someone showed up. The meat is quite bland and so is the cheese-stuffed bread. The salad bar was actually quite large and some good stuff on there, but overall if I had to choose I would stick with Galpao Gaucho just due to the length of time it took to get meat and the overall taste.
Be the first to ReplyGreat value, wonderful food, great manager CHRISTO
Great value, wonderful food, great manager CHRISTO - I brought a large group without a reservation to their happy hour - Prices are incredible and their food super. Value and high quality and excellent service. A hidden gem of vegas. The manager Christo took charge, helped with ordering suggestions and set up a serving table for us. Worth a trip every time you're in Vegas.

We had a 7 person table. Our waiter never introduced himself to the table. It is a pretty expensive plate and from the moment you seat a the table they try to sell you extra stuff like shrimps, wines and others(annoying). The salad bar was good but not outstanding like other comparable restaurants we have visited before. i.e. Texas de Brazil. The soup station remained without soup bowls for half an hour!! and when they bowls finally arrived there were no spoons. We did not get to try the soup. The meat servers were very nice and attentive. Great food and meat quality but, the meats terms were medium to rare. We like med-well and well done terms and even though we asked for that, only two cuts arrived as requested. Some of our guests only got to try 2 cuts of meat because of this.

The gauchos would walk right past us and not stop. They seemed to gravitate to a table across from us which I assume were someone important. The manager made several visits to that table. The gauchos overlooked the surrounding tables including ours more than once to cater to this one specific table. They head waiter ask if we needed anything and my husband told him the gauchos kept skipping our table and our waiter hadn’t filled his tea. The head waiter apologized and headed off to fill his tea. However, nothing changed and he didn’t come back with the tea. I finally stopped the bus boy that was cleaning off a nearby table and ask for my husband’s tea to be refilled. Shortly after the head waiter came back by and ask how we were doing and my husband told him nothing had changed and he had to ask again for tea. He apologized again, the bus boy brought the tea and then things finally picked up,with the gauchos. Very disappointing for a $175 meal.

Be the first to ReplyBrazilian steakhouse clearly a "cut above" all the competition
My South American wife and I are big fans of the Brazilian steakhouse model and have visited enough of them in different parts of the world to know when management is doing everything right - and that is a rarity.
For such an expensive and often very lengthy dining experience, you need excellent meat, great ambiance, outstanding customer service and - wait for it - a killer salad bar.
But the secret sauce is also in management and we both have considerable experience in the restaurant ex business ourselves.
For my wife's "milestone" birthday, Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse totally hit it out of the park on Nov 27, 2021 according to all the above criteria.
As restaurants struggle to recover from the worst - and yet lingering - effects of the COVID-19 crisis, this a very heartening sign. The whole industry has lost a lot of its servers, cooks and busboys and even the ones who are "coming back" have still not changed some rather backward attitudes towards the customers.
In this case, at this location, the very customer-focused management style of the manager, Oscar, supports the very empowered and capable server team of Corrine and Devan. We were very surprised to hear this was their first time being teamed together, because they worked so very well, but clearly management is training all its peoples to be cross-trained in not just various tasks but also the mindset and challenges faced by their fellow restaurant colleagues.
From the moment we sat down, Corrine and Devan immediately learned - and passed on correctly to the other wait-staff, our special drink preferences, which type of the various meat offerings we wanted to revisit and they were frequently checking in to make sure everything was meeting or exceeding our expectations.
In other words, we never had to ask for anything twice - they always just showed up with exactly what we needed, when we needed it, and looked for any change sin our preferences or needs.
When we arrived at 8:30 PM on a Saturday night, the place was packed and yet we felt like we had the place all to ourselves in terms of the kind, professional and attentive service.
Veterans of the Brazilian steakhouse experience might appreciate how very unusual is this level of service. The weak link in the service is not whether the server shows up regularly with new trays of meat to sample, it is all the other stuff in between where customer sometimes feed abandoned (drink refills, clean plates, table clearing, etc). Our server team dit all magnificently, walked us through some dessert options and even as we walked out the door, we never felt ignored or underappreciated as customers.
In summary, it was an awesome experience for us as couple on a special occasion and we could not more highly recommend this restaurant.
It was not just an exceptional Brazilian steakhouse, it was an outstanding restaurant. Period.
Wonderful! Great food, great people, highly recommend!
This is one of the best places to eat while in Vegas. Great meat (for meat lovers) and a whole variety of food for vegetarians.
Danielle Zanella who took care of us made our experience unforgettable. She´s a sweet ,very professional, young woman and truly cares about you.
Great place, great ambiance, great people!
Couldn´t not to mention Franci Batistello, the manager who also came to greet us and made us feel home at Fogo do Chão.
Highly recommend!
Great for a specail event
We spent four nights in Vegas and spent all four nights eating "off" the Strip. This was a really great place. The food and the atmosphere was really great. The place is pricey to eat so this would be a special occasion place for us, but was worth the money for the dining experience and the quality of the food. The amount of different spit roasted meats that they carve table-side for you was impressive and delicous. Come VERY hungry.
Be the first to ReplyFirst visit, AMAZING place. Highly recommend
This was my first time at Fogo, sadly I forgot to take any pics of my food. This place is AMAZING. You to the salad bar first, which has fruit, veggies, cheese, different salads, etc. You back to the table and plantains are there along with mashed potatoes. Then waiters come by with fresh made cocktails of your choice. Then come all of the varieties of meats cooked from rare to well done. I lost count at 15 different types of meats. This is a place everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.
Be the first to Replyvery good food and service

We loved this place! Amazing service and yummy food! Highly recommended! We would go back again in a heartbeat. Our favorite was the house special.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic
My husband, my sister, my brother-in-law and I went to eat here on July 14, 2021 after a harrowing check in experience at the Rio. This place was fantastic, the cocktails were great, the service was phenomenal and the food was amazing! We will definitely return on our next visit to Las Vegas. The manager Marchado was a pleasure to talk to and even though it was past closing time, he assured us that our dining experience was important and if we wanted more meat to come out or drinks it was fine. Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience.
