Not your typical fast food burger.
This is a gourmet burger that melts in your mouth! Not gonna lie, I didn't want to believe the rumors, but let me just say this, I will definitely be coming back!

Writing a review because of the sign, but I'm genuinely impressed by the interior of this establishment. The outside sign is proper and exemplary of the theme. The interior is giving Silverlake carhart and Boston terrier couple but in a positive way. Not a corporate hype house influencer vibe like other restaurants such as easy street burgers, a competitor. You could play animal crossing at this burger place and it would make sense. There were 3 employees behind the counter and the one gentleman behind the counter who took my order and was very nice. I had no other no interaction with the other employees but you can just tell they're all chill. As I'm writing this the bag just arrived in front of me. It smells great I'm not gonna lie. Just did fry test... fresh... great selection of alcohol!

Came in to pick up a $30+ take out order today 3/20 and encountered two of the rudest employees LA has to offer even though the place wasn't busy. No signs on how to pick up order, no knowledge about whether order was paid for (was), blank and bored expressions all around. Burger was good not great. Fries meh. Brussel sprouts drowned in vinegar. Basically mush. Won't be back

I wish I could write a better review about this place, as it has a lot going for it, but it was a really terrible experience. From the moment we walked in, I had a feeling the experience might go the way it did. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes while the employee who was working the register just kept walking around, doing I don't know what. They eventually came over to assist and didn't say sorry for the wait or anything just "what can I get you?"We ordered two double cheeseburgers and Brussel Sprouts to go. The food didn't take too long to cook, so we decided to eat there. The same worker dropped the bag on the table (it wasn't a soft landing..) and said "there ya go". He also was visibly upset when we decided to eat there, since we had asked for it go.. The worst part about the whole experience was the cook behind the grill. They have an open concept, so you can see the grill and the workers at all times. As we sat there waiting for our food, the cook was talking to the other employee and bragging about all the crimes they had committed in their life. The restaurant was pretty full and I am sure everyone could hear the conversation being had. It was one of the craziest things I had ever heard. In terms of the food, the burgers were pretty good. We really liked the sauce on the burgers and the way they were cooked. They were a little to salty for our liking, but overall they were good. The Brussel Sprouts were also very good!Lastly, the location of the restaurant is a little tough to get to. The parking lot is small with not a ton of parking and it isn't the nicest area around it. The restaurant is very new on the inside and seemed clean. We definitely won't be coming back here again.
Be the first to ReplyStill hands down the best burger I've ever had.
Truly no joke eat here like twice a week
Be the first to Replygreat service, clean aesthetic.
excellent crispy burgers and fries! Run, don't walk!
Be the first to ReplyThis is my local, go-to burger place and I AM SO GRATEFUL.
The double bacon cheeseburger is so effin' good and the fries are killer, as are the brussels and the chicken sandwich. It's always fast, always hot, always just awesome. Yeah it's pricey but you get what you pay for.

For the win, soon as I heard the name knew it was gonna be bussin. It was a great well rounded burger. Starting off with a nice soft bun, thin enough to not overtake the taste and sensation of the burger, but good enough to make an impact. The cheese itself was good and nicely melted onto the meat. The meat inside the burger couldn't have been cooked any better, with great seasoning and great crispy edging. The fries were crispy and bussing. The environment and ambiance of the restaurant was sick. Cool furniture and vibes, music was awesome and bumping. Nice place to go grab a fun dinner, maybe even get a little wine buzzed. Great staff too.Pros: solid meat+solid cheese+solid bun=great burger, great ambiance, sick staffCons: outside a little sus, fries aren't in comboWould come back again? -yes, soon

My friend have been trying different burgers around LA each month for the last year. This is our current favorite! There's a good amount of smash to the patty, the bun is soft and complements it well, and good proportions of condiments and pickles. The fries are decent. We also had the fried chicken sandwich. We liked the juiciness of the chicken but overall thought the sandwich could use a bit more flavor. There's a cool burger mural inside and plenty of seating. The staff is super nice. Free parking in the lot.

Stood inside for 10 minutes, everybody working there acted like I was invisible! I'm a Black man so I recognize this treatment pretty immediately. Work on your service (or basic humanity) or else I'm sticking to BNSD (which tastes better anyway).

A. (2021 edition by L.A. Times), For The Win was a great discovery. The interior is surprisingly nice, with elevated prices to match. Their burgers are made with 100% grass fed beef, served on a toasted martin's potato bun with grilled onions, pickles, and homemade fry sauce. To eat, I ordered a double hamburger, not exactly sure what to expect in terms of size. I hadn't done much research, but quickly discovered that one would not be enough. For reference, the size is roughly that of an In-N-Out burger. Priced at $10 (~$12 after tip), I found it a little pricey for what it was.Two burgers probably would have filled me at ~$25 out the door. Next time, I'll probably just add some fries to satisfy my hunger. That said, the burger was cooked to perfection. The quality of their ingredients was apparent. Service was very fast. Not a bad place to go solo.

For starters, I'm not a smash burger fan but going to give this as if I am. Staff was friendly, cool that they serve beer and wine. Owner(?) stepped in to see if I needed any help as I grabbed a bottle for later which was nice.My double burger felt like it could use more cheese. My food and my friend's food came several minutes apart which was weird because we ordered at the same time. One batch of fries was old and cold while the other was fresh and hot. I'd maybe have it again if in the area but wouldn't go out of my way.
Be the first to ReplyBurgers are ok.
They're supposed to have the crispy edge but my order didn't. It just tasted really greasy. I got one of the Fried Chicken Sandwiches and was disappointed to see the chicken filet was cut in half - maybe because they want to keep it in size with the bun? Fries are good. Thier signature Fry Sauce grossed me out. It literally tastes like the grease scraped off the cooktop and mixed with a little Thousand Islands dressing. Customer Service-wise, since it was my first visit, I asked the host how long my order would take and he asked the cooks (it's an open layout). The Cooks gave me a snarling look like I was wrong to ask. I get it but didn't sit well with me as a first impression. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning.

Lots of talk about the burgers, which are excellent, but the chicken sandwich is even better. Nothing too fancy, just a beautifully fried chicken breast, mayo, and pickles. You also won't regret adding fries.

The Burger was really yummy the fry sauce that they put in it is zesty and I like it! Fries were on the colder side but overall it was a great first visit

The burgers here are absolutely delicious! Definitely some of the better smash burgers, therefore unfortunately also some of the most expensive. After dropping $60 for lunch we did still leave a big hungry and wanting another round of burgers (just not really justifiable at that price) I still have to give them for five stars because it was so tasty. Service was friendly and extremely fast, fries are delicious too. Highly recommend it!

People have been raving about this place, so I decided to try it. I came in on a week night, not particularly busy, and was ignored for an uncomfortably long time. Because we're in the middle of a pandemic, I try to be more patient in these situations. There were three people behind the counter, but one of them was on their cellphone the entire time I was standing there waiting to be helped. Then I thought maybe they think I'm waiting for a pickup, so I joked, "Should I call in my order?" Nothing. The guy on the phone glanced at me (as if annoyed) and then walked into the back. I stood there for another few minutes and then said, "maybe a I should get a donut instead, huh?" Nobody stopped me or even said something as simple as "We'll be with you in a minute," so I went to the excellent donut shop next-door. FTW, huh? More like WTF?, if you ask me. :/

This place is way overpriced for the quality of food that you're going to receive. Is it bad? No. But the one time I went there the burger I got was tough and overcooked. The service was pretty nonexistent as well. I was the only person in there and I felt like they didn't want to give me the time a day. Which is fine, just make sure that the food is good if you're going to treat the customer like shit! That's a fair trade. This was not.
