Beautiful scenery & resort, serene, peaceful, spiritual.
This resort strives to give you their upmost best customer service; it's evident as soon as you pull in. The four seasons knows luxury. TVs in the bathroom mirrors. We had lunch served to us on the beach. It felt like we were the only people there at the resort. A ton of privacy. Make sure stop at Nobu just off the main lobby. They'll tell you that you need a reservation but we just walked right in every night. Overall 10/10 stay.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at and I have high standards. The rooms are absolutely perfect - spotless, beautiful, and very comfortable. The resort is not crowded and truly has an exclusivity you can't imagine...you have to experience it. We flew in on a plane provided by the Four Seasons that had no one else on it. The beach is beautiful and feels like a private beach. We went to the gym every morning and had it almost to ourselves. Tons of seats at the pool. It was just so nice to not stress about finding a good seat at the pool because at most resorts people are out throwing their stuff on chairs at 6am. No need to do that here. The restaurants are wonderful. Just be prepared to spend some serious cash when you go, to this resort but it's worth every penny. If you can, you have to stay at this hotel at least once.

Great location - ocean views all around the lobby area, pool and as well as our Room. The property was well kept with local foliage. We did a short walk around and noticed a bird sanctuary and bee pollen station too! While strolling to the Oceanside, we got to see some deer- which ran passed us near bee station. Our room was cool, fresh-clean and comfortable. The on-Beach service was TOP NOTCH (( Jay )) Chair service set up wit Water jug with cups. Food service by Oceanside attendants All the staff throughout the property was friendly and helpful. Do use the shuttle to town. Take a little walk around the Dole Park. Sit and listen to the serene peaceful wind blowing through the pine trees.

I rarely ever head out to Maui and Lāna'i was never on the list of places I even thought about visiting. This all changed when my Dad said he wanted to play Manele. It was only then that I realized you could only play the FS golf course if you were a hotel guest at the Four Seasons or the Sensei resort. Ended up booking a short weekend trip out with my Dad and 2 other friends. Once our reservations were set, an Ambassador reached out and assisted with all of our reservations. All we had to do was show up for the ferry and everything else was handled by the staff. Needless to say, we were blown away at how amazing the hotel, the service and of course the incredible ocean view. Limited food options on prem but they do offer a shuttle into town which has a few other options. Loved the properties pledge to sustainable practices especially with all of the cold water stations throughout the property and golf course. Manele was the most scenic golf course I've ever played. Ocean views from every hole (iirc) and ended up spending more time taking pics and vids than I did actually playing. Special thanks to Kendric and Sam for taking exceptional care of us both days. I thought the lunch we had at Views was the best meal during our trip (we did dine at Sensei and One Forty) and a shame they have limited hours. Feel super blessed to have been able to visit this amazing resort and hope to be back in the newer future. Mahalo Lāna'i, a hui hou kākou.

We loved it here and were lucky to have the kindness of the staff. Shout out to Tumi, he was wonderful! Mahalo

This is our new favorite resort hotel in HI! We were staying in Kihei and decided to take the ferry over to Lanai and spend an evening at Four Seasons Resort and I was able to play Golf at Manele. Upon arrival you are greeted with fresh leis and escorted to the check in. All staff members live on the island and were extremely gracious, attentive and courteous. After checking-in they walked us to our garden room suite where they had a birthday cake awaiting my arrival under a crystal clear glass container. The room was spacious, fully automated including the toilet seat, shades, lights and music. Played golf at Manele and the course was in absolute pristine condition considering they only get about 40-50 golfers per day so not a lot of play on the course. After the round of golf, I joined my Wife at the Pool with a few drinks before dinner. Sunset dinner reservations at NOBU for two was special! Dining on the lanai with views of the ocean with no breeze was magical. Sampled some of the restaurant classics like the Hamachi with Jalapeño, Black Cod with Miso and Tiradito (yum!!). After dinner we went to lounge at The Break for a nightcap and retired back to our room. Rise & Shine and out the door early to take a stroll on the private beach and walked along the shoreline to the rock cliffs where we marveled at Pu'u Pehe, also known as Sweetheart Rock, is located on Lanai's south shore, between Manele Bay and Hulopoe Bay where we took some amazing photos! This is a bucket must-do if you're staying in Maui, it's only a 45 min ferry ride to this exquisite island and you feel you're in a private location catered by the many proud staff members! Mahalo.

Great resort but did not exceed the expectations, a bit lacking compared to Sensei. We did 4 nights here + 2 nights at Koele.
Be the first to ReplyOne of my faves--for sure.
The rooms and grounds are impeccable as is the service. The restaurants are top notch and they make my favorite hibiscus cocktails. The pool is lovely, but the many activities in addition to golf are even better.

A quieter, classy, island paradise! Service was FANTASTIC. From friendly Jay, who greeted us every morning at the beach after we finished our hike, with water and a towel. To sweet Angela, the grounds keeper, who saw my interest in the beautiful landscape and took time with me to explain the different plumeria ( my favorite) Most importantly, Tracey and Shigeki who took care of our every want and need and made us feel like family. Mahalo The trip of a lifetime

Stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The staff was super attentive and genuine. Appreciate all of the small touches and effort they made to make you feel like your on vacation - it's rare these days! Beautiful grounds and renovated rooms, absolutely gorgeous.

Loved our stay - they really take guest experience to the next level. Definitely would recommend this location to unwind and get away from it all. Services are impeccable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is gorgeous with superb food. The veal chop is a must have, or if you want something more Japanese, I'd suggest the Japanese breakfast. Salon services upstairs were above and beyond as well - Rhoda gave me the best pedicure of my life.

Property and beach are amazing. The reef is unbelievable!!The staff were amazing and very helpful - In particular want to call out Jay from the beach/snorkel crew, Greyson with the parrots and our lovely waitress at the break
Be the first to ReplyWe went to the island of Lanai for an outing.
We wanted to see the island but when we go off the ferry we noticed we had no transportation to get around. Our fault next time we know. So we decided to walk up from the beach to the Four Season to see if a restaurant was open so we could get something to eat. On our way up to the hotel we met a nice man who worked there. He stayed that the restaurant was closed and that they were only let guest who stayed there on the Premises. So me and my bf decide to walk back down to hang out at the beach. As we were walking back down the man that we had seen was down below by the beach area. He asked us if we were hungry knowing that we had went to try and eat at the resort. This sweet man offered us his lunch. Of course we declined. What ever your name was we should of ask. Thank you for being so kind hearted. This is what the Aloha sprit is all about. Who ever you are I hope you read this. You made our day. I know you were a Bald man going to the beach are who worked at the resort. We appreciate your kindness

We are in paradise - we traveled here to celebrate our anniversary and a milestone birthday. This property and Lana'i island exceeded all our expectations. The service is outstanding, lush gardens surrounding the rooms are beautifully maintained and the restaurants make it hard to choose

I agree with the other 1 star review-- there is no aloha at 4 seasons. Only pretentiousness and a reminder that rich white people stole Hawaii to begin with. I live on maui, visited lanai for the day. There's literally nothing to eat on island, the little mini mart by the ferry was closed. We started walking up the hill and 5-6 security guards stormed us (myself, my sister, and my 67 year old father). It was basically harassment, they refused to even let us get food for takeaway, and therefore rendered us starving as we were on lanai without food from 1030-630. If you want to feed Larry Ellison's wallet and rich privilege, and alienate the locals, then this place is for you.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I visited One Forty for dinner from Sensei,
My wife and I visited One Forty for dinner from Sensei, another 4 seasons resort on Lanai. My wife is 5 1/2 months pregnant and unfortunately felt ill and wanted to go home. The food and the waiter who served us were fantastic I must say. Anyways - our night was cut short - and a woman at the front desk made my pregnant wife wait 40 minutes for a 7 minute shuttle ride while vehicles came and went and serviced plenty of other people. I kindly explained the situation to her and asked for help. She said she could not afford to provide staff to help us and went back to organizing brochures. There is of course a difference between "cant" and "won't." Ive stayed at 4 season hotels around the world and this was the worst service I have ever experienced by this chain. She ruined our evening and put my wife in severe discomfort for a long time. She puts a bad name to the resort's quality of service and brand. At this price, your money is better spent elsewhere. We wont be back!
Be the first to ReplyThere is no aloha at the Four Seasons.
I would not stay here and will tell friends and acquaintances to avoid the Four Seasons on Lanai. My wife and I live on Maui and went to Lanai for the day with two friends to Hulopo'e beach, which is fantastic and definitely worth the trek. However, sitting above the beach and an ancient Hawaiian archeological site, sits the Four Seasons. After a full day at the beach we thought we'd walk up to the hotel to get an early dinner and cocktails before heading back to the ferry. We were fully expecting to pay $50 for a burger and $25 for a cocktail and happy to do so. Our wives also wanted to shop. We walked up from the beach, found the lobby bar which was as empty as the lobby, and the store except for staff, and sat down. When the waitress showed she asked for our last name and I told her we weren't staying here just visiting for a meal and cocktails. She said, "you can't be here. It's for guests only." I said, "is it always like this or a COVID thing?" She said, "it's been for the past three months, you just can't be here." I would understand if it were a COVID policy but it doesn't seem to be so. I would also understand if they were busy and had to turn folks away so they could focus on their guests, but they weren't. They had several wait staff and counter staff with no guests to serve. I could see the waitress was embarrassed by not having an explanation and the overall negative vibe. Policies like these are not Aloha, but exclusive. If the Four Seasons is intent on building walls between itself and the citizens of Maui County, maybe the County should do the same, build a real wall and prevent the Four Seasons' beach access because it treads directly through sacred Hawaiian grounds.

We spent a few nights at the Four Seasons Lanai at the beginning of our trip to Hawaii this summer, and honestly, I wish we had stayed an entire week. The facilities are incredible: pristine gym with gorgeous ocean views and woodway treadmills & pelotons, beautiful spa, ample swimming pools (inc. adult only), and a private beach.Every meal was delicious, but Nobu at FS Lanai was probably the best Nobu I've ever been to. (I've eaten at Nobu Malibu, Scottsdale, Milan, probably others). We stayed in an oceanfront room, which came with a automatic toto toilet (a luxury). You can start your day with a delicious omusubi and a hike, and end it with a sunset sail and dinner at a Nobu.I don't think about repeating visits to hotels often, but I loved FS Lanai so much I definitely plan on returning.
Be the first to ReplyThe resort is gorgeous.
Amazing beach. The staff courteous and professional. The food is fresh and delicious. One thing they need are some "no cell phones" areas. Many people staying here are just rude with their loud phone calls by the pool and lounge chair areas. Also, the corporate groups kind of ruin it for everyone. Our lunch at Views was ruined by a loud, obnoxious group giving golf awards. The food was great, the view amazing but listening to drunk people make inappropriate comments wasn't pleasant. The restaurant staff seemed way more attentive to the large group than the rest of us. I would have appreciated someone from the restaurant asking the group to be considerate of the other diners.
