I've eaten here several times over the years and the food and service has always been top-notch. Plus the views of the lake are spectacular, especially at sunset. Unfortunately, I feel that Friday's Station has really relaxed their dress code and overall standards of behavior for the clientele. When we dined this time (6/16/22), there was a large party of loud, drunken guys on the upper part of the dining room. We were sitting below and we had trouble even having a conversation without shouting at each other because it was so loud. (My sister said she thought there was a Hooter's convention in the hotel). Parties like this should be put in a separate ballroom, not in the main dining room and RUINING the dinner experience for others. I paid good money to eat here too without having to endure a frat house experience. Also they used to have a dress code for this place but not anymore. People were coming in in flip-flops, t-shirts, and backwards ball caps. In years past, you had to at least be dressed in business casual. I get that with the pandemic, they probably haven't had as much business but a quiet, relaxing dinner at sunset was part of the appeal of this place. Like I said above, the service was excellent and out server was very apologetic about the noisy drunken people. I would be reluctant to eat here again if management continues to allow stuff like this to go on. There are plenty of other restaurants in the Tahoe area with good views.
