Geoffrey's is one of our favorite restaurants.
We live in NH and when we visit our son in Ventura we always stop and have dinner. Thr food, ambience and wait staff are all excellent.

Beautiful place with views that make you feel like you're in Maui. They have a couple vegan options. I ordered the watermelon salad (no cheese) and the vegan curry with added tofu. Happy they have some vegan options to have with a nice view. Bee
Not worth the price but a beautiful location
Beautiful location. Ok to good food. I had the corn chowder which I liked and then the crab cake appetizer which I thought had the texture and perhaps taste of cat food (not that I’ve actually tasted cat food.) Everyone else at the table seemed hap

Essentially, spent $300 on food that looked and tasted like cafeteria slop. I highly recommend not going here and to find somewhere else. The ambiance and service were good, except for the valet staff, but not even the kind staff can save this place
I had an early dinner at this restaurant last Saturday.

One of the best views in all of Los Angeles and Malibu.
Right on the ocean, beautiful ambience. Parking is pretty much only valet. Food is above average but expensive.
Very disappointed.
Made reservations a week ago I mentioned it was my wife's birthday. Wanted to have the best table in the place. They mentioned the rail table. You'd have to spend $250 per person. I said, no problem. We got a table in the corner. With the w
Beautiful Views
I had a reservation at Geoffrey’s for the last meal of my trip to Malibu. I arrived early and almost had a heart attack getting my car to valet (steep). Valet is $12 and very reasonable compared with other valet services in the area. The hostess sa
Stunning
Stunning location Great food wine and service An oasis of real class in bustling busy Malibu Not cheap when the mandatory valet parking and 3% surcharge to compensate for RT use in minimum wage! - just put up the prices But worth it
Ocean views, excellent service and even better food!
My experience at Geoffrey's Malibu was 5-Star all the way!!! This was my first time having Sunday Brunch at Geoffrey's and I will definitely be back. Excellence starts at the top and the Manager, Sharon, has left an unmistakable imprint on
Enjoyable
What a beautiful terrace overlooking the ocean, and great food too. Higher price class but absolutely worth it. We really enjoyed it.
Arrogant and disrespectful service.
2-hours seating limit policy. So, the hostess recommended to drink our coffee at the bar. We came at 3:58. The dinner starts at 4:00 pm. They asked us to wait and promised to text or call us. 30 minutes later I asked again regarding table... they fo
Ambiance is great but the food is exceptional.
.Thanks to Chef Kate Pelayo will be a must stop every time in Cali. Worth driving from Las Vegas.

We celebrated my birthday for a lunch it was beautiful ambiance , good service and great martinis . The beet salad was delicious, the Seabass was so silky and well prepared. My friend ordered the Paella , was a big portion and she said it was good.
Four of us for dinner.
Great ocean view and love the round tables so easy to have conversations. The service was excellent and the food was good. A nice place for a special occasion. They charge a 4% fee on the bill and there is only valet parking for $15.00 which is added
Beautiful View with high school cafeteria food.
Go for the view and a drink, then go somewhere else to eat. The food is substandard. Even the presentation--the plating--shows such a lack of care. I ordered a $25 Kobe beef burger and thought what could possibly go wrong? It's Kobe beef! Well, not r
5/5 view on that patio, service was ok, food was mid.
We visited around 5:30 on a Sunday evening, they seated us early (reservation was 6:00) at a very nice spot with good view. It took the waiter ~10 mins to come drop off the menus and another 15 mins to come get our order. We ordered drinks - which we

A Malibu classic - never fails to disappoint.
My mom and I enjoyed a great dinner, splitting the watermelon salad and steamed fish. The fish was incredible-- flaky texture, flavorful sauce, and sweet veggies on the side. A wonderful way to spend the evening with great service and drinks too!

We had a TERRIBLE experience at the front with the tall hostess. She refused to give us a table even thought there were plenty of table as we went there at low-peek hours. I am surprised how she got hired in a customer service role. Overall we were f
Overrated is an understatement
Reservation was made over a month in advance for the table for 5 overlooking the ocean for 6:15pm. At 6:30 we had to ask for the manager to ask why we weren’t seated? He gave us two options a table for 5 we didn’t want or another 20+ minute wait

Anniversary dinner destination almost every year!
My wife and I have had our anniversary dinner here almost every year since we married in 2016. From the food and drink to the service to the ambiance, Geoffrey's never disappoints. We always make an early reservation, so we can watch the sun set.
Spectacular setting
One of the most beautiful views of any restaurant I have ever been to. Service friendly and relaxed, which is perfect for the setting. Food was delicious. Couple of bottles of white wine. Great lunch on a Friday!!
Small but beautiful restaurant
Really enjoyed our lunch during August. Lovely view and charming ambience, although the restaurant was much smaller than I expected. The food was good but not exceptional. I would recommend as a great venue to enjoy the coastal views in Malibu with g
Could not have been a better experience
Made a last-minute reservation to this restaurant that we had previously celebrated our 1st anniversary dinner 39 yrs. ago. I did mention that when making the reservation, not thinking or expecting anything special will come out of it. I was surprisi
Very disappointing
Very low quality dining for the cost ($400 for 4) . American style food. We eat much better at home. Waitress nice though, cocktails were good and nice ocean view.
Disappointin
My husband and I have been coming to Geoffreys for about 20 years, except during Covid. Beautiful setting by the sea with better than average cuisine. We came for lunch to celebrate our anniversary after a long break, booked well in advance and aske
Excellent food, ok views
We came here because we heard about excellent views of the ocean. However, the restaurant is set back from the beach with houses in between the restaurant and the beach. From the restaurant, you can see some of the ocean but not a lot, especially if
Disappointing
Of course the view is pretty and the food was good. Unfortunately our waiter rude with reaching across us to grab glasses and knocking into me as I’m eating in the process. Also he lit a candle on our dessert for “in case we we’re celebrating a
Fine SoCal Dining
It’s many years since we were last here. This place is a great example of Southern California outdoors fine dining. It’s not actually on the edge of the Pacific with houses between it and the ocean so many tables don’t have a “sea view” but
The ambiance and service were great.
We were in town and drove down the PCH from LA to enjoy a day with family and this was a great lunch spot.

I have no issue with the quality of the food, it's good, no complaints there at all. However, I have couple of items I want to bring up:1. The restroom needs to be looked at, both Man and Women (as my wife told). Only one bathroom stall available, th
Connect with users posting reservations for GEOFFREY’S Malibu
AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with GEOFFREY’S Malibu. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience
the user has and how many percent of their transactions resulted in them issuing a refund.
If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to GEOFFREY’S Malibu at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the GEOFFREY’S Malibu page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at GEOFFREY’S Malibu to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at GEOFFREY’S Malibu!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
