Peacful vacation
Nice quite place , if you are looking for a peacful vacation where you have your own private beach this is for you. Breakfast was pretty good , the only negative downside where that the staff asked me all the time whats my room number while I was sleeping on the beach and the nearest supermarket is like 2km away.
Be the first to ReplyGood and economical stay
It is a very beautiful resort located on the beach with two good swimming pools and both with security guards/lifeguards. Good breakfast. Staff always helpful and friendly. Spacious and comfortable rooms. However, there are things that already need some maintenance, as they already show signs of degradation. Another drawback is the fact that it is a little away (not too far) from the city. You always have to take a taxi/Grab.
Be the first to ReplyNice hotel in a quiet location at the beach
We stayed here as part of our holiday throughout Vietnam and were happy with the hotel in general. The location is in a quiet area with not so much around (Covid effect I guess) however as we love to walk, we were able to find a few restaurants and bars close by. Breakfast at the hotel was huge - almost too much to choose from and everything we ate was fresh and cooked well. The room was clean yet basic - we didn’t book a fancy room as we only sleep and wash there but I’m sure the other rooms close to the beach are very nice! The hotel was very quiet in terms of guests when we stayed as tourism is low in Vietnam at the moment so not all facilities were available. This didn’t matter to us as we spent most days out and about. Marble Mountains is close by to the hotel - you can walk there in 20 minutes and it’s worth a visit for sure. It gets busy so go there early for when it opens. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and even happier that we had the pool to ourselves on the couple of days when we chilled!
Be the first to ReplyJust returned from 8 great nights at Sandy Beach Resort
We have a sea view room with balcony the room was very big with the most comfortable bed. We had tea and coffee facilities as well as a limited mini bar. The hotel has 2 pools we loved the pool close to the beach there was plenty of sunbeds around the pool and on the beautiful beach. The food choices were very good for breakfast lunch and dinner. The hotel did a really nice Valentine’s Day meal which was very nice plus a street food evening. We stayed for 8 nights and we did not want to leave. The hotel is in a great location to get local transport to Danang city or Hoiann. We booked a day trip to the ancient city of Hue through the hotel which was very good. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk to marble mountain which is well worth a visit. I would return to Sandy Beach if I came back to Danang.
Be the first to ReplyAverage + / Good value for money
The value for money is undeniably good. This does not mean that the hotel is perfect. The environment is calm and the gardens are pretty and well maintained. The beach is quite beautiful and in the immediate vicinity. However there were a lot of waves, potentially problematic currents (hence the red flag). Clearly we were not able to swim during our 6 days there. The swimming pools are well maintained. Breakfast very good considering the price. The room, very large, extremely humid (at the limit of bearable). The hotel in general is old, even corroded. The staff is very kind and helpful like everywhere in Asia. The restaurant, even though it is not our habit to eat at the hotel, is very good, at reasonable prices. Grab the Hotpot soup for two (VND249,000). We also tried pizza (we've been in Asia for a long time and eating "international" makes us feel good sometimes). The pizza was perfectly ok. To end on a positive note the hotel is well placed to get to Hoi An AND Da Nang by Grab. Difficult to say if we recommend. Undoubtedly, value for money must be taken into account.

I love this resort. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room is so big but a bit old. But I feel so comfortable during my stay here. They have private beach and it's really comfortable. They also have playground for children and fitness centre has very complete tools.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Service ay Sandy Beach
I have been going to Da nang since 2013 and have stayed at Sandy Beach every time. The resort is a bit dated but the services and staff are fantastic, not only do they do all they can to make you have a great time but they are very genuine in the way they go about it. Special shout out to Mr Vu and his team on the food and beverage side who made this recent visit for me very special with a friend's only BBQ. The food was well priced and delicious and the service team really knocked it out of the park. I look forward to my next visit. It's an amazing place!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful resort
The resort is large and beautiful with a beach and facilities like swimming pool and pool table. The room we stayed at was spacious. We would like to give a mention to Tam as she was very helpful with our queries about our trip.
Be the first to ReplyLovely hotel, staff were amazing. Love this place 🥰
This was our first time in Vietnam and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. The staff were amazing, in particular Hung who was always friendly, happy and very polite. The breakfast was really extensive with options to taste everyone. The rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels replenished daily with complementary toiletries. Upon our arrival we were given a free drink which was very welcoming. Our garden view room was upgraded for free to a sea view which had a huge king size bed, the room was so spacious and very modern and clean. The hotel is ideally located to all amenities including marble mountain and the hotel offers a daily shuttle bus for a very small fee. If you download the app GRAB this will give you access to book taxis which was so good to have. I would definitely come back to the hotel, I loved every minute of my holiday.
Be the first to ReplyWe had a very nice time here in Sandy Beach in Vietnam!!!
The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Cong Hieu from reception who helped us very quickly with a private problem 😊👍. We can highly recommend this hotel and it certainly won't be the last time we stay here. Best wishes from Vietnam, Heike and Christian
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to have a rest
We spent 4 nights at the hotel. Wonderful view to the sea from an excellent room, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large and clean. Great choice for breakfast, tastes of all continent. The area of the hotel is beautiful with the lodges in the large garden. Two swimming pools, gym, spa and many games for the children. I loved it!
Be the first to ReplyIt depends what you are looking for
This hotel was not for us due to its isolated location, lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance and 1970’s style. It is located directly on the beach - which is practically deserted- but there are no other bars or restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant is ok, staff fantastic and a limited choice of Vietnamese and Western food - but not the best quality- the chicken in my pho was mainly black. The rooms have decent large modern bathrooms, but decor very basic and generally shoddy - rusting lampshades, clean but stained bedding, our bathroom mirror was falling off, the shower didn’t drain properly and the blinds didn’t work properly. I had to wear shoes in the room as my feet got so dirty from the floor - they provided flip flops however they looked old and worn like the dressing robes. Elsewhere the hotel was old and generally worn - the main pool tiles all chipped, the basket ball ring all rusted, lots of empty buildings and the gym really needed a good clean - rusty hand weights and blackened yoga blocks. We had been booked by a premium UK travel company, and requested a move as soon as we got there, but the agent dragged his heels, they put us in a suite - but I still found the place grim, and not somewhere i could relax. We got a taxi (335k dong each way) into Hoi An on 2 nights and got out of the hotel as much as possible. Sorry but the place really needs a deep clean and a overhall
Be the first to ReplyVery nice & friendly

Be the first to ReplyVery poor services
Very poor services of the hotel. No breakfast for Indian travellers. No fresh juice and no good coffee. Very poor hotel. Don’t stay here in this hotel . Rooms were vacant and still they don’t provide early checkin and trouble their customers.
Be the first to ReplyDrunk locals throw parties at this hotel
You will have to move out of this hotel in the middle of the night, that's how bad it is. The expectation there is that you don't need to sleep. The hotel was completely empty when I checked in, and yet, on the second night they put 10 people nextdoor in a room for 2. Mind you, you will have to pay for a rollaway bed for your toddler, but 10 locals having a drunken party in a room for 2 is totally cool. They were literally plastered, drinking and yelling in the middle of the night. A few locals were camping out in front of my room door on the floor. Again, getting wasted and screaming. All of this in the middle of the night. When I called the front desk, they told me they had to sleep and didn't have time to deal with it, after which the guy hung up on me. Staff are rude and unprofessional, service is not a thing at this place. Meanwhile the party moved outside in front of my balcony (way to go to pay extra for the sea view!). The yelling and screaming continued. They were drunk out of their minds. One of the locals was urinating in front of my sea view balcony. Nothing major by local standards. I am surprised there are no goats running in the hallways of this hotel, that would be very fitting. After 3 hours of enduring the circus by my room and in front of the balcony, I called Amex Travel and they had to call the hotel a few times. Even then the hotel refused to move those drunken people elsewhere (again, 10 people staying in one room is not even legal). They did offer to move me to another room, so in the middle of the night I had to pack up all of my stuff and shlep it to a bungalow. Here the adventure continued. Not only the room was extremely old and shabby (the balcony door was jammed and wouldn't open), there was a layer of dust and dead insects on every surface. The room hadn't been cleaned for months. The bedding was ripped and stained, not sure if it was washed after previous guests, probably not. There was no hot water in the shower. The beach is littered with trash, plastic bottles and cans. The minibar wasn't stocked, but they did try to charge me for using it. Bottom line, stay away from this place as far as possible. This was the worst experience in Vietnam and ruined my vacation.
Be the first to ReplyDon’t bother
This place has really gone down hill, service poor , food poor and was chased and accosted over a towel being dirty , save your money go elsewhere, lots of other choices where you will be valued as a customer in town
Be the first to ReplyVery little open
On arrival we were given what we thought was going to be a garden view room but was a tennis court view. We upgraded to sea view room which we were more happy with at $20 a night. The hotel is struggling from Covid but the staff never stop and always smiling. There was one bar open until 9pm and there is nothing around this hotel! Bars or restaurants ! so you need a grab or taxi to get to Danang city which took 20 mins and cost £10 each way. White we were at Sandy beach there was no shuttle bus available or pool activities pool bar or any entertainment because they were understaffed which I’m sure will improve as time goes on with more tourists visiting. The staff are very attentive to your needs I do hope they are up and running 100% soon so this can be once again a hotel at full capacity

We were fortunate enough to go here just before the outbreak. The virus was somewhat effecting the tourism, as in there were very little of them in all of Da Nang, but also in our hotel. This, of course, was good for us. The hotel area is beautiful. The pool areas were very nice (we spent most of our time on the one closer to beach) We ordered snacks and ice coffees from the pool bar / restaurant almost daily (due to the fact that there is literally no restaurants within walking distance) and fortunately they were good. The gym is less than basic, but better than nothing. Tennis was fun! Beach was beautiful, but the ocean is quite violent, so don't dream of relaxed swimming there. Instead enjoy the good side of livid ocean, and go surfing! The hotel has a shuffle service, which was not free but cheap. The rides to the few destinations given took quite long, but definitely worth the trip. Visit old town! If I'd ever go to Da Nang, this would be my hotel for sure!
Be the first to ReplyCharming beachfront resort
Spent 2 nites at Ocean front bungalow ( free upgrade from Garden view) . Enjoyable retreat with a beautiful garden , huge premises including casuarina like shadowy forest at the entrance. Absolutely great location with Marble Mountains within 7 mins walk at resort's back and stunning coastline stretching for good 15 km both sides right at the threshold of its bungalows. The images of the rising sun , locals walking, doing meditations and bathing at the distance from 4:30 am on, fishing boats floating in the early morning glade to contemplate from Centara s premises are hypnotizing and full of local colour. The garden is home to singing birds , prospering there in abundance. Even saw a guest bringing his own bird in cage to stay with him at the bungalow and the birdie definitely enjoyed)) Very well trained staff , always ready to walk extra miles. Sending my huge thank you to Ms Thuong from front desk for the warm and cheerful welcome and assistance during our stay! Hope to get back there soon!
Be the first to ReplyLovely Resort With Decent Price
I went to Danang with my friends. The first couple nights we stayed in another hotel which was not great. It was even more expensive there. Then we switched the hotel to Centara, we all found it surprisingly good and cheap !!! Very clean, spacious room, great view of the beach and pool. Great service !!! I would definitely recommend this resort. However, I do find the breakfast options limited. Hopefully they could provide more options in the future.
