Worth trying to get reservation
Booking was gone in less than 3 seconds! 9 am Tokyo time on Saturday releases the following week. You can still try lining up for walk ins before 12:30 reservation start. I like the system I came 10 minutes earlier and was seated as someone finished earlier. The service is amazing, the 6 seat shop is amazing as you watch the chefs work with nice music in the background and a warm wooden interior. The ravioli ramen was amazing. Clean and flavourful broth. Noodles just right. The ravioli silky with rich filling and that egg…damn golden orange perfectly runny inside. No one was talking inside and it was full focus on the ramen & the chefs. Great dining experience. I was in and out in 15-20 mins. They don’t rush you but had my order from outside so when I sat down I watched them plate my bowl.

Was some good ramen yes but you can definitely find ramen not too far off from this quality and taste else where too if you happen to miss it, but would still recommend especially now with the easier ticket system. Went friday 9/16 just before 9am and managed to get one of the last few spots. Got a 2:20pm ticket. They sold out at 9am. I believe I heard they only give out 60 or 70 spots a day. It is a cash vending machine ticket inside you line up for to pre-pay. They have a machine inside to break 5000 and 10000 bills.
Be the first to ReplyMichelin Star Ramen at its finest
Worth every minute and effort during this amazing journey to sample one of the finest ramen restaurant in all of Tokyo. A rare Michelin star ramen restaurant with more than enough “horror stories” of two to three hour lines posted online. We expected the worse and of course hopes for the best during this 96 degree Tokyo Wednesday. Arriving at 9:20am to stand in line until the posted opening time of 11:00, we were kindly greeted and brought inside to purchase the ramen tickets (in cash) and im exchange for the tickets, we were given a paper slip with #22 and #23 for 11:55. Apparently, 21 people already made the journey that day. There was no need to stand in line, they simply asked that we come back at the specified time to wait and be seated. A short taxi ride back to the air conditioned hotel, we enjoyed the morning until we returned at 11:55 where we were seated within 5 minutes and served just as quickly. Most finish their meals within 20 minutes and the process repeats. The ramen, amazing. The broth, perfect. The meat, bamboo shoot, and intricately diced green onion, amazingly delicate and flavorful. The egg, by far the best we’ve had. The price, well let’s just say we spent more on the round trip taxi fare. Talk about an amazing experience…oh and yes, by the time we came back at 11:55, they were sold out for the day. Onwards!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious and very satisying ramen but be prepared to wait
This is a 6 seater ramen restauant in Ginza that is elegantly decorated. The chef's previous as a French chef shows through the way he presented the exquisite bowl of ramen. The all in option we chose was priced very reasonably at 1400 yen. We also ordered a small bowl of rice with chasu which cost 500 yen - so, total 1,900 yen each for a 1 Michelin star dining experience. Very reasonable. The bowl of ramen has a rather clear soup with a light yet complex flavour. The texture of the ramen was excellent - al dente. The ramen comes with an egg (ajitsuke tamago ), but the highlight for me were the two thick slices of chasu that were so tender and flavourful. However, be prepared to wait in line for at least 2 hours. We started queuing at 9 am and were the 10th and 11th in line. The first seating starts at 11.30 am. We made it to the second seating and were served our ramen at around 11.50 am. It took us less than 20 mins to finish our meal. Only pictures of the food is permitted to be taken.
