I frequent this the area and always pass by this restaurant
I frequent this the area and always pass by this restaurant but never had the chance to try it until today. I ordered their Spicy Pork Bento Box for $16 and it came with so much food!!! Portion bigger than I expected. It even came with so much banchan (I think 12 different varieties).. my jaw dropped when they brought it to the table. If you give me a bowl of rice, that's a whole meal right there!! Truly felt like you were eating at grandmas house. The highlight of the meal was the tkim. Guilty pleasure. And I was pleasantly surprised how good the spicy pork was because I almost never order stir fried pork whenever I'm eating out. Although it may look spicy, it was super mild which I like. Service was great. Good amount of seats inside. Ended the meal off with some complimentary orange cream jello and chocolate cake!! Overall 4.5/5. Highly recommend! 04.03.2024 | Wednesday @1:30pm

The portions were very large and worth the price. Would highly recommend the food here! A nice small place to grub. I went with my girlfriend and she enjoyed it as well.

Perfect lunch spot!! I went here twice and I had a wonderful experience both times. I had their lunch special bulgogi with fried veggies and it was very delicious! They also serve little plates of side dishes with kimchi and veggies. My friend ordered their bibimbap plate and she really loved it! The service is friendly and fast! The ambiance casual. Really good spot!

I was craving Korean fried chicken one day for lunch and walked into this place on Ocean Avenue at about 1 pm. There is still a good amount of people sitting and eating. This place has been around for some time, and service has always been excellent. It is a family-run business, and you typically like a place like this for the food and service, not the ambiance. They got one of the fried chicken dishes and did not want the rice, so they substituted another type of fried stuff like veggies and gyoza. I always enjoy supporting small businesses like this one.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely delicious.
Ordered the tteokbokki ($15) & bento that comes with the roll & TKim (deep fried veggies) with bulgogi for $17. Everything has its own flavors and the beef bulgogi didn't feel heavy. Generous with the rice and has big portions. Lady doing service was kind but didn't usually check on me when I was running out of water, but I don't hold that against her since the place was picking up much more (I went around lunchtime on a Saturday) and gave me a free square slice of a cake. Super nice of her. It's also a pretty small space, so if you plan on coming with a party of 3 or more, it might be in your best interest to call ahead of time. Those eating alone get a nice, separate seat facing the outside road. Overall, amazing for just the food alone!
Be the first to ReplyAte inside this restaurant for the first time earlier
Ate inside this restaurant for the first time earlier tonight for dinner and I was glad to experience the great and friendly service by the staff. I ordered the japchae, KFC, and kimpap (to go). Everything I ordered was delicious! Even the complimentary banchan (side dishes) they started me with and the jello right after I was done with my meal were tasty. Price is reasonable too. And the place is clean. Will definitely come back again. Glad this joint is close to where I live!
Be the first to ReplyThe food is good and price is very reasonable.
The "L.A." Kalbi is tender and good serving size. They provide a good assortment of side dishes and lots of rice. The ambience is not much, but the staff are friendly and attentive. Great value for the price!
Be the first to ReplyThis is a nice mom and pap feeling kind of restaurant.
It gives us a vibe of back in the old days when the whole family works at the place. The server is your child, mom doing the money collecting and dad is making the dishes. No frills kind of place. It is really good, prices are super good for sf dine out. Under $20 you get side dishes and an entree. Spicy pork combo ~ comes with a few pieces of Korean sushi , some fried tempura which is super yummy and your main entree meat. The portions are generous and the spicy pork had a nice sweeet taste to it . Bulgogi combo, had the side dishes and plentiful meat on the side. The dish is awesome with rice. The tempura had a mixture of shrimp tempura, vegetables and a mandu which is a Korean dumpling fried. Nothing tasted too oily and it was just right crispy ! Curry udon,- came with an option of beef or chicken or tofu. It taste like a comfort bowl of udon from your mamas house. Portions again is super generous here. Spicy tofu soup~ I forgot to ask for an egg, not spicy at all and it is good for a cold day. This was my least favorite out of everything we had today . Seafood pancake, now that was complimentary from the owners! They were so nice and this was actually the best dish !! Crunch in the outside and nice chew ~ the condiments inside were plentiful , love how you can taste squid and onion when you bite into the pancake ~ you top it with the sauce makes it even more vibrant! Come early, because it got packed when we were about to leave. The place is small and have only. A few tables. But everything is served quite fast.

I've been here few times but never got around writing review about this restaurant. Probably too full and satisfied with my doshirak bulgigi! Love this place, the customer service is great, the staff are very accommodating and polite. Food serving is big enough for what you paid for. If you like Korean food, you'll definitely not going to be disappointed.

This place was on my list for a while and it did not disappoint!!! The food is hella good and I felt at home. If you are craving cozy Korean food this place is it. The service was amazing. I felt like the lady serving us was my mom for some reason very motherly and cozy. Please give them a try.

Fast service on a lunch weekend. Generous portions and good prices really make Go Go 7 a value deal...come hungry.

The food is reasonable and awesome here! My favorite is Kalbi, from $16 to $19 only! The owner, Marilen, is always super friendly, this is my Korean go to restaurant!
Be the first to ReplyMy family and I recently discovered this place about 3
My family and I recently discovered this place about 3 months ago. I have brought 3 separate groups of people already and have come an extra 5 times. The food is delicious and so fresh. The service is the absolute BEST where they make you feel at home. They are so caring and attentive and kind. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I would. I'd even go as far as naming this the best Korean restaurant in the city! LOVE LOVE GO GO 7!
Be the first to ReplyYeah, once again I get to eat at this restaurant.

Be the first to Replykalbi Doshirak is legit $20 meal for 2.
Asian jasmine rice sticky as it should be, this ain't Uncle Ben's fluffy dry loose rice. Amazing value and flavor of a Korean home cooked meal. Easy free 2hr residential parking. Not good for big groups over 10 as there are only 5 small tables. Would go again for some noodle soup!

Tried this place again- last time before this visit was pre-pandemic! Truly dislike the dining-in. Too crowded, tables are sticky, hit or miss if you can even get a table, or a parking spot in the neighborhood-depending on your timing. But the service is polite, nice. Food is really good. Nice assortment of banchan, really enjoyed my combo bento box, and very reasonably priced. Only thing I didn't enjoy much was the fried shrimp- the coating was thick & not crisp. Loved the fried veggie cakes that come with the meal. They also include a couple of jello squares as a dessert. Nice extra touch. Again, not a fan of the ambiance, but I do like the food.

Ordered takeout based on positive reviews here, including review about banchan with takeout. We didn't receive any banchan with our food, not even kimchi. Fried chicken was beautifully crispy, but not flavorful. Spicy veggie tofu stew was perfectly fine. Really bummed about no banchan. Maybe dining-in will yield a better experience...and banchan. Still, not willing to rule this one out based on this single experience, but not ordering takeout again. Can't handle missing out on banchan.

I love this neighborhood restaurant! A Korean standout on Ocean St. Delicious food. Pleasant and competent service. Very reasonable prices. It's a small place, but the kitchen staff and servers are quick and efficient. The quality of food is better than the price may indicate. Worth checking out for the flavorful and authentic Korean cuisine!
Be the first to ReplyOur go to place for quick and good.
We usually get the BBQ, which is solid, good flavor and significant size. The katsu is well-fried. The soon du boo is a little mild in flavor. The ban chan is average and slight portions. It's basic and not fancy, but overall good place for a quick meal.

First time trying this place out and have always passed by it. Personally, I love anything with Ramen so I had to try the stir fry ramen! Delicious, especially with the added chicken. I would order this again and again and again The japchae was also quite delicious. Very filling! Not pictured: we ordered a soft tofu stew with seafood and that was also really good. All in all, 5/5. Really delicious, almost street food- esque Korean food/bbq.
Be the first to ReplyIt was our daughter brought me there.
Then I brought my husband there, now Go Go 7 is our most favor restaurant, the food is yammy and the boss lady very sweet. We love their food and side dishes, you can tell how good the boss lady doing side dishes not roughly at all. Now the restaurant is our number one best one choice in bay area
