Tacos are good.
A bit pricey. However I would not recommend the pork belly, I like fatty pork belly but the kind that melts in your mouth- this was not that... the texture was not good/ biting through bubbly tendons... I left only thinking about how much I didn't like it instead of thinking about the other tacos I did like. Would go back but never getting the pork belly again lol.
Be the first to ReplyUnreal taste in tacos.
The flavors of this place are unbelievable. The decor is perfect. And the service is wonderful.
Be the first to ReplyPoor experience.
Will never return. Staff had low effort and were unapologetic. They didn't have our reservation when we arrived. Had to wait awhile for a table to open up but no urgency or communication. Food was okay but not worth the price. $8 tacos each. Chips straight out of a bag. Pass.

I don't know how San Francisco does Mexican food , but this was some of the weirdest food combinations I've ever tried in my life . It was almost unbearable to eat. The only good thing was the guacamole. Our waiter was impatient.

Did you know this place is amazing? I live for the Sweet Potato and Pocho Hard shell tacos.don't be surprised if things look funny such as the Chicken Tinga Quesadilla. My friends from Vietnam freaked out on the Roasted Brussels Sprouts. They don't get them like this there.
Be the first to ReplyDecided to stop by after work and finally try this place.
I always pass by here when I get off work and I have always wanted to stop by and try it. From the outside it looks pretty small with a modern look. For my surprise that it's pretty spacious inside with upscale vibes with a very nice set up. I ended up sitting at the bar area which is really cool very nice. They have a large selection of tequila and Mezcal. This being my first time I asked the bartender what he recommended right away he told me their tacos. He recommended the pork belly, steak and octopus taco. so I decided to try one of each.To be honest out of the three of them, my favorite one was the pork belly. It was so good it had so much flavor and was perfectly done. I have never tried a pork belly taco like that. My first impression was that it was too thick of a pork belly , but was I wrong. It was just cooked perfectly and had a nice meaty texture. I will definitely be coming back again soon and try some of their specialty cocktails.Parking is a little bit complicated you're lucky if you get a street parking space available if not, they do have a private parking lot right next to it where you'll pay five dollars for parking for one hour.

Pretty good taco, expensive , smallBrussel sprouts were different, spicy and a little too much sauce for me but they were tasty. Also expensive. My friend got chips and guacamole- I enjoyed that very much...probably expensive .Place looks like it has a nice bar and I liked the vibe. I'd go again but $8 a taco is a bit steep
Be the first to ReplyGuerrilla Tacos was an amazing experience.
I hosted a corporate event and had a lot of questions, requests, changes. Cassandra, the events manager was so helpful, understanding and accommodating. Everything was above and beyond and I would highly recommend the food, service and location to anyone who needs a place. I will definitely be returning for a personal visit once I'm back in town.Cassandra + Team, thank you - wish you much more success in the future.

Does Guerrilla Tacos allow doggos? Yes, this is a very dog friendly establishment with an outdoor patio. Guerrilla Tacos is a fantastic restaurant. If you're a fan of tacos and creative cuisine, you won't want to miss out on this gem of a restaurant.Firstly, the tacos at Guerrilla Tacos are hands down some of the best I've ever tasted. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh and locally sourced ingredients to create unique and flavorful combinations. From the pork belly and sweet potato taco to the fish taco, each bite is a burst of delicious flavors that will leave your taste buds wanting more. Make sure you check out some of their other dishes like the Brussels sprouts, shishito peppers, and more. To complement their incredible tacos, Guerrilla Tacos also offers a selection of fun and yummy cocktails. One of my favorite features of the restaurant is their heated patio, which is perfect for dining al fresco even on chilly evenings. The fact that it's also dog-friendly is an added bonus for pet owners.Last but not least, I have to commend the helpful servers at Guerrilla Tacos. They're always happy to make recommendations, honestly answer questions, and ensure that your dining experience is a memorable one.In summary, Guerrilla Tacos is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who appreciates creative cuisine, delicious cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced tacos that were not the best tasting.
Tried the fish tacos and pork belly. Pork belly was very heavy and they added a heavy sauce I was only able to take a bite. I also had an order of their Brussel sprouts which were ok. I would say they are a 7/10.

Guerrilla or gorilla? This is a cool spot located in the Arts District of LA. Tacos here are pretty innovative. However, there's no need for that twist. It is suppose to stay authentic, showing off the heritage and influence from different regions of Mexico. For that, I give them a 3/5. I got the battered fish taco and the black pepper steak taco. Both were good. I just can't justify paying $8 each. If I was Mexican, my grandmother's grave would be turning.

My husband and I were in the area for my sisters art show and needed a place to eat within walking distance. We live on the west side so we aren't that familiar with downtown. We were absolutely blown away with the food here. I haven't felt compelled to write a review for a very long time. The hamachi crudo is seriously out of this world and the crispy shrimp tacos are amazing. Our waitress also recommended the summer squash which made me want to be a vegan, so good. I feel like I found one of the best restaurants in LA, definitely telling all my friends about this one. Ambience is perfect as well! Bravo to the owners and the chef!!!
Be the first to ReplyNot too long ago, tacos and a drink in L.
A. used to cost $1.50. Fast Forward to today and it is $41. I can still find super yummy tacos 4x $5 real meat. That's my other review.Should you pay $41 for two tacos and one drink? That's tough for me to answer for you. I did and have no regrets. This is a sit-down restaurant. Quick sit because after tacos are finished I go. A couple were here celebrating a birthday. Had song sung ate fast and left. Other group hang out a lil longer. Context -- I drove the 6th Street Bridge Westbound and turned right where it end. Kept going a couple blocks and Voila! This treasure.Service is 5 stars. I arrived 39 minutes before closing. Tacos were amazing. Why? They are pretty tiny but thick or sky high. Tame them by eating a bit of each with fork. But tacos are meant to be folded and cupped. Bite took half a taco. As in intimate, let it rest. Let it recoil. Leave on plate. Then take that half eaten half and fold and cup again to its very last crunchy end.The sauces or pairing garnishments supplement the twi-bite experience. Flavor lies within those lil pieces. Sweet potato tastes like sweet potato -- add the crunchy lil crispies, the goat cheese and chives plus dressing and you got yourself an $8.32 two-bite experience. Suadero it's two petit steaks in one -- think of 1/3 inch thickness pork belly like beef with fiber meat. I would say you get your good protein for the price. They don't chop the suadero. You have to bite into it and tear it with canines. My whole experience took 30 minutes. My memories should last much, much longer.I love their receipt logo -- Lady of Pomona. T shirts, beanies and souvenirs available. $30 for a tshirt.Prices add 4% for employee health insurance.

We ate at the bar and Aldofo, our bartender, was fun and engaging and with us on the drinks@ Food, as always, was amazing. The Hamachi tostada and patty pan summer squash were exquisite. Had a super fun night with great food and ambiance.

The bartender (Aldolfo) nailed it with his recommendation of the new old fashioned made with mezcal. The hamachi tostada and lamb tacos were to die for!!!

Brandon was awesome! Super attentive, great friendly attitude. Great service and atmosphere. the W.A.P wet ass Paloma was probably the best Paloma I've had. Will definitely come back for drinks and some food.

Be the first to ReplyIs definitely a good spot for food, service and vibe.
However sometimes is hard to swallow because of the price range. I feel like Guerrilla tacos is at a tricky spot where people are more accustomed to mexican foods that are with better price value; however, is not at the quality of fine dine mexican restaurant . Definitely not everyday lunch spot but maybe something more on the special occasion side.

I have dined here on several occasions and the food has always been delicious and inventive. The service has also been good. I have to give them 3 stars due to the fact that even though they advertise to close at 10:00 PM we were refused service a 9:30 PM on a Saturday night. There were clearly several open tables and still a lot of patrons dining there. I would understand if we had arrived at 9:55 but there were still 30 minutes left till closing time. Terrible customer service.
Be the first to ReplyCool spot in art district for Mexican food and drinks.
Their cocktails were excellent / loved their drinks. For food - my favorite was the scallop aguachile app. So much deliciousness in the flavors of the sauce - incredible! The tacos were really great, but for the more high- end cost of tacos not the best I ever had. My favorite was the octopus.

I had a friend visiting from out of town and wanted to find a fun place where we could catch up. The music was great (Talking Heads), but a bit loud for conversation. The food was delicious and reminded me why I live here; it's a cultural mashup (Korean fish tacos, crispy and spicy). Everything was good. I gave it 4 stars because of the food, but the service was off. I'm not sure what was going on, but server forgot part of our order and then took so long to complete it that I was getting ready to cancel. Regardless, I would give it another try. Bon appétit!
Be the first to ReplyPossibly the best tacos I have ever had because they are
Possibly the best tacos I have ever had because they are fusion style, blending flavors from various cuisines. Ordered the Sweet potato, pork carnitas, and Korean fried fish tacos and washed them down with a refreshing Michelada. The environment was open, airy, hip and cool with plastered grey brick walls, colorful murals, and metal star-shaped hanging light fixtures. The service was plentiful, courteous, and responsive. You can see the kitchen from the dining room and they run a tight ship. I parked across the street for $4 every half hour since I was not familiar with the area. It is in a gentrified part of town. Highly recommended.

Disappointed; I'm a big fan of the chef/owner and cook from his cookbook weekly. On the down side, we ordered fish tacos and the fish had gone bad - gave us stomachaches for the entire night. The tacos are def. gourmet and the ambiance very hip; you pay for it though ($90 for a family of four for a light lunch); I really wanted to like it more. Would not
Be the first to ReplyWe got the Korean fish and puffy pocho tacos.
The tacos themselves are really good. The Korean fish tacos were probably our favorite. The puffy pocho tacos are hard shell tacos and were decent but just a little greasy. We think there was a mixup with our waiter or the computer system because we waited an hour for four tacos. They also took our water away and didn't bring it back until we asked. Also, if we didn't remind them, they might never have realized we were waiting. To remedy the situation, they gave us a discount because we waited so long so we really appreciate the gesture. There's outdoor and inside seating and parking on the street.
