We had an amazing experience at Harvest Table celebrating a family birthday. The restaurant accommodated our large party with a big table seated outside. The service was phenomenal and the food was incredible! Thank you Harvest Table and looking forward to visiting again soon and checking out the Inn!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to dine!
Wonderful food and great overall dining experience. Colin, the manager, checked in on us frequently and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Service was warm, courteous and professional. Lovely ambiance (we ate inside next to the fireplaceโdelightful!). Great place for a super meal in St. Helena.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best meals we had in Napa Valley
We ate at the Harvest Table at the end of a very long day of traveling. Weary and hungry we ordered steak and frites as well as pork belly - both of which were outstanding. We were truly impressed. Bit on the pricey side but totally worth it.
Be the first to ReplyPoor Service
We had made a reservation for 7 people at an early 5pm. Marie was our waitress. After taking everyoneโs drink order and beginning to walk away, I had to call her back for my order. It was obvious that she was annoyed by me for some reason. Once our food came, we had no silverware, so I had to ask someone at our table for their fork, while my partner ate her halibut with a spoon. We were never asked how our food was, if we wanted another drink, etc. When Maria brought the bill, a 20% gratuity was added in. It clearly states on their menu that itโs added on parties of 8 or more. When questioned, Maria argued with me. We saw Maria and the manager talking. He then came back to our table with the 20% taken off all of our bills. No apologies, questions on what happenedโฆ It wasnโt about the 20% gratuity - it was how Maria acted and the poor service we received. As far as the food - the halibut was over cooked. Truffle fries and Mac and cheese were good. Definitely not worth the money though - totally ruining our night!

Everything was delicious, and they have a great wine list, too. We particularly enjoyed the burrata salad and braised meatballs.

Had a great, delicious dinner with friends. Welcomed graciously by Colin who made sure that our time there was excellent. Highly recommend HT for a dinner out.
Be the first to ReplyALL THINGS GOOD
Restaurant had a nice ambiance and server was attentive . Salads were large, fresh and creative . Myself and a friend both had the Korean BBQ flank steak and both of our entrees were done to perfection. Highly recommend this moderately priced venue. Corkage available so bring a bottle or two .
Be the first to ReplyGood food but very slow service
We arrived just after 12p on a Sunday. Very few people in the restaurant. Food very good, service very slow. Steak & frites as well the 2eggs breakfast were very good. Fries were good too. We had said we were in a bit of a hurry and still 90 minutes for lunch when it wasnโt busy at all. Pretty area seated outside.
Be the first to Replyfood not good for the price
We ate at the Harvest Table on New Year's Eve and the food was very disappointing. The onion soup was the worst I ate in my life (with murky gooey liquid in a wide plate with a dry toast with half melted cheese floating on top); the steak was not tender (filet mignon) and the lobster was very dry. The dessert was good though - chocolate cake. In the end it was the most disappointing meal of our two week travel in Northern CA.
Be the first to ReplyDo you like reheated catered wedding food for $400+? Yea, me either.
Our expectations were not met whatsoever compared to what the Harvest Table used to be and provide. We had dinner and breakfast at the Harvest Table during our 3 night stay. For dinner, the fixed menu was $60 per person and $22 for wine pairing. As I will explain in detail following this statement, dinner was a HUGE disappointment considering we paid over $450 with tip after additions. Overall, it seemed as though the food was based on whatever was being served at the wedding on site that night. We were the 'leftovers'. Overall, the food was not fresh and of poor quality. To start, the soup was cold. We actually googled to see if that type of soup was supposed to be served cold. It wasn't. The salad was just greens with a few toppings with some vinaigrette. Nothing special. For the main course, the halibut was served with a sauce that masked the 'fishy' and not fresh taste. The steak was not a good cut and was served medium with fat around the edges. Not palatable. Potatoes and veggies included with both dishes were cold and hard. Applebee's could have provided better, which says a lot. The wine that was served seemed as though it had been sitting in a bottle and oxidized past its prime. I had to turn it away and ask for a new bottle of something comparable to be opened. How does this happen in NAPA!? Our waiter was the only thing that made us provide a tip. He was so sweet and nice and it seemed as though he had no say in any of the food or wine. He simply served what he was given by the kitchen and bar.
Breakfast- We ate breakfast at the harvest table after our second night. Our expectations after dealing with the shortcomings of the hotel overall were extremely low, so we left ample time. However, everything took 2 x as long as it should have and was comparable to Denny's.
Awful.
There isn't anywhere else within the entire hotel to get water or snacks anytime before 8am. Additionally, it would have to be through the restaurant or bar. We went on a balloon ride through Napa and could not even get fresh coffee or prepackaged snacks that morning other than the crappy Keurig in our room.
How is The Harvest Inn still considered a 5 star hotel that will go beyond for it's customers?
A new experience...and a good one!
Hadn't really even heard of Harvest Table with a friend made reservations there. We were there to catch up over dinner and for me to try her wines. While hot, we were seated outside in a sheltered patio, and it was relatively comfortable. The menu was prix fixe, which apparently they change every so often. Meals were served family style, so we both got to try each of the dishes. Everything was very good. Service was great, and the staff happily accepted our invitation to sample the wines we brought in, which were excellent, too. I think the concept is different than what you'd mostly get around Napa, and that's a good thing. I'd definitely keep this one on the list to revisit.
Be the first to ReplyGreat venue, generally good food
Weโve eaten here several times, the food and service are consistently good. We enjoy the ambiance and helpful wait staff. Good value when you pre-purchase dinner.

Menu small but all bases are covered. I had the Mediterranean omelette and my husband had the steak and eggs. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Service great too. Outdoor patio has heaters and cute.
Be the first to ReplyEasy Choices
When you eat dinner at Harvest Table, the choice of what to eat is easy. You get everything on the menu. The prix fixe dinner is served family style with two appetizers, two entrees, and dessert. The chef sets the menu for the month. No matter what day or days you show up, thatโs what you and your party will eat. I actually found this approach to be wonderful.
This monthโs first course was smoked tomato soup and marinated cucumber salad. Given all the wildfire smoke in the area, I thought the choice of serving smoked soup showed the chefโs wry sense of humor. It paired well with the air. The second course was Ora king salmon and seared flat iron steak accompanied by blue lake yellow beans, a kale-lentil mixture, and potato coquettes. Dessert was a banana pudding with vanilla wafers and carmalized banana. Everything was delicious, presented artistically, and served at the perfect temperature. I enjoyed tasting so many preparations. Our waiter was helpful and let us sip on cocktails and enjoy the view before launching us into dinner.
The only downside is if you are staying in the area, you most likely wonโt want to eat there two nights in a row unless you are there for the menu switchover. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as it got me to sample the many other restaurants in the area.
Breakfast is a different matter as there are choices from light to hearty. My favorites are the smoked salmon & avocado toast and the baked farm fresh eggs. My companion liked the apple-cinnamon waffles so much that he had them two days.
Really tasty!
We ate at Harvest and enjoyed their family style prefix menu. They did a nice job with the social distancing, and only tables were set outside. The menu included a lovely salad, pork chops, salmon and some sides. The staff was wonderful, we couldn't have asked for a nicer evening!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, ambiance, service
Service is phenomenal. Colin is a great server, and Sean, the GM (I think) stopped by both nights I was there. Had the butternut squash risotto and it was amazing. Portions are very small, which is good if you want to enjoy dessert.
Be the first to ReplyWas always curious about this place
So glad we finally tried the restaurant. We sat outside near a lemon tree with some tripe lemons. It was a sunny cool but pleasant Sunday. The service was excellent. People were gracious and accommodating. My salad had sliced apples, spiced nuts, freshest greens, shaved veggies and a perfectly cooked salmon. My husband had their classic burger and he said it was done perfectly. We also had their smoked trout avocado toast and that was really great. The trout was not very salty so it made the toast stacked high so much more delicious. I would go back and try their other offerings.
