One of the best spots to enjoy a delicious steak or have a romantic dinner in my opinion. The prices and quality of food will leave your mouth watering and will bring you back to this restaurant over and over again. 5 star service from the staff and excellent choices of drinks. Don't let the location and outside of the restaurant fool you. I always hear people say "STK steakhouse" on the strip but once you have Herbs & Rye you will never go back. Herbs & Rye and their sister restaurant "Cleaver" are in the top 5 steakhouses in Vegas in my opinion.
The cocktails here are very good.
It's very dark inside. I ordered the Caesar salad and my guest ordered the mussels. Both were very good. We both ordered the 16 oz rib eye with the garlic spinach for a side. The steak came out cold and was tough as shoe leather. The beef in this restaurant is not high quality which is why they are giving for half price. Very hard to chew with a lot of grizzle. Kind of a disappointment because I don't eat steak that often. So good for drinks and apps but the beef leaves something to be desired. The service was good.
Nice local spot off the Strip for some steak and cocktails.
I showed up Saturday around 430pm to see about 5 people waiting for open bar seating. When we checked the reservation site, a ton of slots opened up, so we snagged a 5pm. It seems unlikely that all these people canceled their reservations so last minute, but whatever. I'm glad we got table seating anyway since it's a lot better to conversate with 4 people. The dining room is really dark, and it was tough to read the menu with just one candle. Of course everyone comes here for their "happy hour" steak specials -- which is a nice marketing tactic since the regular priced steaks are overpriced. I settle on the ribye, along with some apps and sides to share. We got the caprese, carpaccio, mac and cheese, asparagus, and the "sprouts and swine which are brussels sprouts w/ bacon. The steak was juicy and tender, but it was lacking that outside sear and char on the crust. It was also on the thin side. It was seasoned properly, which I definitely appreciated. The apps and sides were solid, nothing out of the ordinary. Would I return again? Probably not. There are so many great spots in town to get a steak. The prices here are a bit on the high side, even with their heavily marked happy hour "deals." I don't think it's worth a wait in line at all. 3.5 stars.
Nice place to have date night or dinner with friends.
The food and drinks are good. It's very similar to their other property, Cleaver, but I like Cleaver a little more. Delicious Caesar salad.

Make a reservation or be waiting at the door at 4:45 there will be a line. The hostesses were not friendly or welcoming, just curt and bothered, don't let that deter you, everyone else was fabulous! The steaks are incredible, the mashed potatoes and asparagus were perfect. The bread and butter were wonderful. Service was attentive. One of my fave steak places ever. Really really good. If you are from out of town, it's worth the Uber !

Came here for a date night, and the reviews did not disappoint! We got excellent recommendations, and the service was top-notch. But the food and the cocktails were absolutely the highlight. We ordered the ribeye and New York (Oscar style), the lobster, and the spicy mussels. I absolutely recommend the spicy mussels. Those were the favorite of the night.

I've been here many times.
Dim interior, solid drinks, solid steak. These guys know how to cook a good medium rare steak. Never a disappointment.
Happy hour pricing Friday night
Linguine and clams $22, Filet Mignon $32, New York steak $28 all on happy hour pricing! Don't care for the dining room as it has no ambience at all. The bar top is the best if you can get it!

Great vibe and music, very lively for a late night meal and cocktail after hitting the strip. Came with my husband to celebrate for his bday weekend trip to Vegas and we loved it! Great service and even better food! The steaks are delicious (and half off in happy hour along with any items with two stars by the item). A must try is the steak with the sauces (my fav is the peppercorn sauce). We had asparagus and brandy shallot potatoes as sides which were delicious! Definitely will be a go to spot whenever we are visiting Vegas! THANK YOU Juan for taking good care of us and helping celebrate my husband's bday!
Delicious Dinner
We went off strip after hearing a recommendation for Herbs & Rye and we are so glad we did. The steak was the nicest steak we have ever had, it was melt in your mouth perfection plus, the Happy Hour offer is just brilliant - would 100% recommend visiting here. We also had the Cacio e Pepe and the Cookie Skillet which were also really tasty.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places. Super friendly and the food is very good. Drinks are served well and the feel of the place is nice
Perfect dining experience
Everything was perfect. Food was excellent. Steaks perfectly prepared. Excellent house wine. Waitstaff was incredible. They made us feel like valued guests. Exceeded all expectations. None of the haughtiness of restaurants on the strip!
Best Meal on holiday
After researching steakhouses for ages before our holiday to Las Vegas I can honestly say Herbs and Rye was the perfect choice. By far the best meal of our holiday and such good value for money. My wife and I had the Ribeye and my mother in law the Fillet. Steaks cooked to perfection, and sides are easily shareable. Our server (Ronnie I think his name was) was amazing. So attentive and happy to talk us through the menu and drinks on offer. Will definitely be returning to Herbs and Rye the next chance we get.
Best Steak Restaurant in Town
Excellent Restaurant with a fun vibe. This is off the strip, but easy to get to and has parking. They have an interesting drinks menu and our waiter even made us special drinks based on our preferences. They were excellent. Many steaks and other food items are half off during happy hour, which runs until 8pm. The food was outstanding and ample. Steaks perfectly done and the pasta was a great accompaniment. Highly recommend this restaurant!

My first time here was just for drinks at the bar area and was impressed so I decided to try and have a dinner. It was a right idea. Their food is outstanding, we got there around 11pm because was the first reservation available and we just got informed that the meat was half price, I believe after 10.30pm they run this special with half price on meat selection, so we all decide to get meat that night, we were 4 of us and we tried 4 different kind of steak and we loved all 4. As a appetizer we got the Meat tartare which was my favorite and the beef carpaccio also very good. My only regret is that I request to have a both by the bar area, which on my opinion is the most beautiful place of the restaurant and has a very good vibes , but my request wasn't accomodate which was a bit upsetting since I was craving to try them for months and never got a chance to. Anyhow overall drinks and food were very good and beside the fact that the dining area is a bit "underdressed " compare to the bar area. I would say that I highly recommend this place and for sure will be one of my favorite spots in town

Some of their popular items have a 50% off discount. This seemed strange but, the menu is no joke. Everything we ordered was legit. Good quality food at reasonable prices. Make a reservation. When we arrived to check in, the party ahead of us was told it was a 2 hr wait without a reservation. This place is a tourist trap with strategically placed
This place is a tourist trap with strategically placed advertisements and online placements to make you think it's a hidden gem. They have a phony reservation system that they don't disclose when you call on the phone. So I'm letting you know from now. When arrive there you will not be seated. You'll be told you needed a reservation you were never advised to make when you called. The place is only at 1/4 capacity and presumably they would seat more if they hired more help and/or didn't want to create an artificial sense of demand. Their so-called "happy hour" specials are half-off certain menu items, and when you subtract the 50% you will arrive at whatever the going market prices are for that item anyway. For example, an $80 ribeye gets "discounted" to $40 for the alleged "happy hour". If you are staying on The Strip, you can find any cut of steak you like for less than $40. No need to travel to the hood and be put on a waiting list when the restaurant is empty anyway. If you were thinking of getting a seat at the bar, you can't and won't. It's filled with people parking themselves there and the line of people hovering over them for their seats is deep. I would recommend dining literally anywhere else. This place is overhyped hot trash.

I've only ever been for the happy hour menu when the steaks are half-priced if they still do that. The steaks are really good and the cocktail menu is massive and laid out historically which is pretty interesting. It's one of my favorite places in Las Vegas. Don't be fooled by the exteriors, the interior is laid out like an old school steak house. It's dark with leather and wood. Just a really cool vibe. The service is outstanding. Really a hidden gem. It's worth a trip off the strip.

Uber guy recommend this place he said the locals usually come here for a good buck for your money. We got a ribeye which is the best I've ever had we paid around 45$ for it but would of paid double on the strip. We got the mushrooms, Mac and cheese and asparagus. Would not order the Mac and cheese again, mushrooms were good and asparagus was very salty at least the night we went. Make a reservation it's very busy or if you don't, like we did sit at the bar make sure you check in with the bartender. Service was amazing and cocktails on point. I will be looking forward to this everyone I go to Vegas now.

Great drinks, tasty steaks on happy hour prices, and a large alcohol selection! We booked a reservation online for dinner that Friday night. Reservations were pretty wide open. Spicy mussels were good, a bit small for the pieces of seafood but a really good sauce to dip the bread. The calamari was a miss for us. Too much banana peppers which took away from the taste of a classic calamari dish. It also had bacon in the dish which was different. Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly to my medium rare request. Chimichurri sauce and peppercorn sauces were both delicious! Cacio e pepe had a great al dente texture but was a bit on the bland side. Our server was very friendly and patient with reviewing the dinner menu and the drink menu since it was all of our first times. Inside is pretty dark and they play rap music. We'll definitely visit again for the steaks and drinks.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Herbs & Rye. Very creative and delicious drinks and meal was great. Very well thought out and unique cocktail offerings from different eras. Be sure to make a reservation to enjoy half price steaks during Happy Hour.
Casual atmosphere - great happy hour prices on many menu items.
This was our first time here with friends. From what I understand - getting a reservation takes quite a while - so book early. A big part of this is probably that during "happy hour" most of the menu is 1/2 price. So for a normal $64 filet - you pay $32. All of the steaks are priced this way and quite a few other things on the menu. The atmosphere is very casual. The bar offers a huge variety of specialty cocktails. Watching the bartenders is an amazing experience in itself. We were seated promptly for our reservation. We have the carpaccio for an appetizer which was served with fresh arugula and a nice dressing - would highly recommend. Most of us had steaks, but one person had the steak and lobster which was HUGE! Steaks are ala carte, but there are a lot of side choices. Steaks were done nicely -- mine was a bit too rare for "medium" - but not a deal breaker. We also shared the dessert combo which included a full size creme brulee, bread pudding (delicious with small chopped apples), warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and beignets. Accompanied by 3 sauces. More than enough for 4 people to share -- almost too much for two. You are also allowed to eat at the bar - but you need to get there early to get a seat. Would recommend.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant with exceptional staff and delicious food!
Absolutely incredible meal, service and ambience. This restaurant is a little way away from the strip, but it’s well worth the $15 or so in a cab. Everything about our meal was incredible. The portions were huge, but the quality was also fantastic. The meatballs appetiser is big enough for an entree, or to share. The cocktails are also phenomenal and are a clear reason for their ‘top 50 bars in the USA title’. The service from Chris was exceptional. We would all go back in heartbeat!
Happy Hour: Loud but worth it!
After years of hearding about this more locals-focused restaurant we finally made it there while on our last trip. The place was packed and incredibly loud, enough so that I just can't rate our experience a full 5/5. If it weren't for that the evening would have been much more enjoyable. Their extensive drink menu allowed us to explore a few different decades. The recommended calimari was amazing, my wife's linguini with clams good, and my rib eye cooked perfectly with great char and seasoned well. The sprouts and swine and wiskey shallot potato were both extremely good sides. The pasta and steak were happy hour pricing (1/2 off!) so there is significant value in visiting early evening which is why it is so popular.

Truly a wonderful experience. Our waiter was very attentive and made our first visit a joy. The food was well prepared and largely portioned. We even received a birthday treat with a candle !

The best steak house in Las Vegas. I have been to Golden Steer ,Primal and many places on the strip. This restaurant is my favorite.Excellent service, so many award winning drink options. You must make a reservation.

The locals we met recommended this place. 6 months later, their recommendation came to fruition. The restaurant is off strip so you'll need to drive, taxi or Uber to the resto. The cocktails are fun and we tried as many as we could handle. I don't know if it was just a misfortune on the specific day but the steak was overcooked for medium rare. The pasta was average, nothing special. Overall, did not meet expectations.- Ambience: As other usual steakhouses, very dark but cozy. The restaurant is not that big and tables were a bit too close to each other. It is a well known place for dating or celebrating special occasions. That means it was kind of noisy, had difficulty hearing each other.- Service: The staff was friendly and attentive. Kept checking on us if there is anything needed. The food was delivered on average time. They were kind enough to give a complimentary mini b-day cake!- Price: I went there during Happy Hour (5pm-3am), it justifies the quality of the food. - Location: It is about a 10-15 minute drive from Wynn.- Parking: There is not many parking spaces, we looked around the alley behind the building (where there are all the dumpsters and etc.) but still full. i have been to this location twice now, and loved both times. I've heard friends and colleagues mention it before, but never had the chance to try. My first experience was amazing and exceed my initial expectations. I came alone, sat at the bar and ordered dinner and a cocktail. The drinks were delicious and refreshing, and the steak was phenomenal. The second visit I came with a friend to enjoy dinner. We arrived as a walk in on a Saturday, and did not wait long for an available table. Everyone was very attentive without being pushy, and the food and drinks were phenomenal yet again. We took a little longer than we should have catching up, but were never felt like we were being pushed out for our seats. can't wait to come back.

There are few late night spots that have good food, and even less with a fun environment and awesome staff. Herbs and rye is a true staple in the Vegas community and should be for the next decade. The Ribeye with Herbs and Rye Rub and Blue cheese crust was sublime and absolutely divine in flavor. Best steak I've ever had, and four years ago when I was here last, I felt the same way. Plus the ambiance, especially in the booths by the bar, is perfect. A favorite must experience Las Vegas stop.
Classic cocktails, atmosphere and the feeling of "Rat Pack Vegas"
When you walk into this place and you see the horse shoe shaped tables in the bar area and the staff ready to help and take your order, you know that this is going to be a classy, upscale experience. The menu is fun as it is separated into eras, and the drinks are classic and fun. I recommend this place. Sit at the bar and enjoy it all! Off the strip and you will feel off the grid!
Heard this place was cool.
Came in late night when I was fucked up looking for drugs and the vibe was not cool. Every bartender was super fast and polite but wouldn't hook me up. It was better when that one guy used to get naked behind then bar

I give 5 stars to our waiter and service. This is a place to go for happy hour when you just got off work and to hang with friends. I wanted to take my husband to a nice steakhouse dinner for his birthday. The food was bland for the price you are paying. It was my mistake for not doing my research, I thought it was a high end establishment. It was so loud with the music so everyone around us was talking over the music which made it even louder... so it was small confined restaurant, that has loud music, and dark. So if you have high anxiety or get overstimulated fast, this place is not for you. I would suggest this place to grab cocktails with friends and maybe appetizers. Cocktails were good, My husband steak was so tough to eat and had no flavor, we took it home for the dogs to eat.

I can't believe I'm going to give one of my favorite restaurants a one star review. I've been coming to Herbs and Rye for 12 years because they make one of my favorite dishes in the entire world. I use to live close so it was easy to go there for happy hour or a late dinner after work. The bar tenders were always fantastic and the food good. The reception staff however was never friendly, accommodating, or even acted in the least bit customer friendly. I usually just over looked it because usually they were busy and crammed into the small space by the front dooFor the past several years I've lived far enough from the restaurant that I've had to resort to take out to bring it home to my family. Now with this situation I am forced to only deal the horrible reception staff. The young long haired Hispanic gentleman (only using that description because I didn't get his name) took the cake. His smug arrogance and total disregard for any kind of decent customer service is the end of road for me. How the owners can continue to hire reception staff that doesn't answer the phone when no customers are there and then act like they are to good answer simple questions is beyond me. After more then 12 years of patronage I am kissing Herbs and Rye goodbye. The restaurant is very successful so I'm sure the owners won't miss my business but I hope they ask themselves; How many customers that are willing to drive an hour just for their food are they willing to lose before they fix that situation?

Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Herbs and Rye Las Vegas to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Herbs and Rye Las Vegas!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
