Ho Hung Kee Congee & Noodle Reviews from The Last Year
Wanton noodle is springy!
Overall experience is good as the restaurant is clean and spacious by hk standard. Wanton noodle is springy and wantons are good. The sui knows, prawn rice roll, siew mai, fried bean curd are all nice. Hkd 990 for 6 adults and 2 kids over lunch. Note : 1.5 hours limit to occupy a table for lunch which is reasonable by hk standard
This a Michelin grade place? Your're kidding. ? ?
Price is too high, materials are cheap 1: Dry-fried beef river, there is even a photo posted at the entrance, there are a lot of beef slices. What was served was 6 thin slices of beef about the size of a child’s thumb. There were six of us, and each of us got a piece of meat! 2. Yangzhou fried rice, no grilled rice, no trace of scrambled eggs, only 3 shrimps, each shrimp is equivalent to the size of a Hong Kong ten dollar coin. There were 6 of us, and each of us had half a shrimp and a bowl of rice! I gave one star because the other dishes were okay Was the Michelin Award awarded to Creation in 1940 when he started doing business? No updates lately? This branch (or its management) should be embarrassed and insulted to such a long standing reputation

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
