Spring in Paris!
A lovely stay at this hotel. Perfect location, so we were able to walk everywhere. Plenty of food options - restaurants, cafes and boulangeries all within walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly, in particular Arianna, who was more than happy to offer her advice on current happenings in Paris. Breakfast was good, with a selection of pastries, fruit, and cheeses alongside ordering eggs cooked to your desired choice. In particular, Jules was excellent. He was always attentive and prepared the best iced lattes each morning! Rooms were clean and well kept. We had a lovely view of the courtyard. Overall, it was a great stay. Location makes this hotel a great choice!
Be the first to ReplyA break away from the noise and hustle and bustle of Paris.
I tried the Sunday Brunch: Just incredible, best value for money in the area! The bartenders and servers are all so friendly, run there. The setting allows you a break away from the hustle and bustle of the boulevard, a haven of peace!
Be the first to ReplyEnjoyable hotel, great location and superb staff!
It is a given that any major City Centre Hotel is going to struggle on room sizes and you hope this issue is made up for with other facilities alongside helpful staff. Grands Boulevards doesn't fail in this respect, the hotel has a quaint entrance off the main street and immediate impressions are of a well refurbished, modernised design. The dining area is under a glass roof and the roof top bar is a huge plus (with the exception, on my part, that the beer choices were very poor!). Breakfast was as expected for this sort of price range but we didn't eat there otherwise. A huge plus is the location, we walked to almost all the major Paris sites from the hotel, with massive help given by reception staff with advice about routes and venues and restaurants. This help made a huge difference to our enjoyment of the break. The bedroom - yes it was small but we booked a Superior room with balcony, which was in essence a terrace located amongst the hotel's vegetable beds. The terrace really made a huge difference. In the room the bed was very comfortable but the lack of storage space was a real issue, unless you want to live out of your suitcase (which we did not as we had suits and dresses etc with us) this issue does need addressing. Also, the lighting in the room was dreadful. The bedside lights were as good as useless and there was no central light in the room or any lamps. Final negative...the shower, this was temperamental and weak, again, something that could be easily rectified. Do not take my negatives as a reason not to stay here but be aware of them. We really enjoyed the hotel and would definitely return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat visit to a beautiful city
It was my first visit to Paris. Traveled solo and stayed at Hotel Grand Boulevard. Turned out to be a great location as I was able to walk to so many destinations. A lot of the staff were super friendly and made me feel comfortable especially Jasmine! The room was small but what it lacked in size it made up in charm. Would definitely stay here again.
Be the first to ReplyAnother perfect stay
This is my second time staying at Hotel Des Grand Boulevards and it was perfect. The staff are very attentive and lovely. We received a complimentary room upgrade which was very much appreciated. The vibe of the hotel is superb and makes for a very relaxed trip. The decor of the hotel is very chic and makes for a memorable stay. The chocolates left on the pillow at night is a lovely touch and the breakfast is divine. The only suggestion I have is for the TVs to have Chromecast so you can stream your own Netflix however when in Paris you are hardly in your room… The location is fantastic and close to lots of restaurants and bars and the metro. I will be back and cannot wait to stay here again! 10/10 hotel with 10/10 staff.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location
Small hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Ask for a room on the upper levels. Recognize that rooms are not huge, bathrooms are pretty good sized. Limited hanging and storage space for clothing. Nice rooftop bar as well as indoor bar and restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyChic hotel in a convenient location
We stayed here for 4 nights on our vacation to Paris and had a wonderful time. The service and amenities are top notch and the rooms are a good size for Paris. The location is very and right next to the metro so we were able to easier get around the city throughout our trip. The daily breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed cocktails at the Shell Bar downstairs on our first night. The only downside was we had booked a room with a balcony but they were not able to accommodate that (although they did upgrade us to a larger room instead). Overall positive experience in a well executed hotel.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect stay in Paris
We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Hotel Des Grands Boulevard. We chose this hotel because we wanted somewhere with a cool, Parisian style, rather than a standard type hotel room that could be found anywhere in Europe. We were definitely not disappointed! The hotel is beautiful - every single part of it! We booked a standard room with a balcony, which we would definitely recommend as it was lovely to sit out on the balcony in the morning with a coffee, looking into the courtyard. Some little touches that we loved were: * the hotel room key (you’ll see what I mean when you see it!); * welcome note and little box of chocolates on the bed on arrival; * member of staff knocked on our door twice during our stay to check that we had everything we needed and brought us more little boxes of chocolates; and * lovely robe and slippers. We ate in the restaurant on our first night. It has a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. Both bars are excellent. The bartenders are so friendly and highly skilled at making cocktails. The reception staff are also very friendly and helpful. They always made sure to ask us how we were and what we were planning to do during our trip, also offering helpful recommendations for restaurants etc. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient. There is a Metro stop right outside the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance of sights such as the Sacre Coeur, The Louvre, Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle. It is also only a few stops on the Metro to the Eiffel Tower. The perfect spot for exploring Paris in style!
Be the first to ReplyLovely stylish hotel
We enjoyed a lovely weekend in Paris staying at this hotel. The staff were very efficient in their dealings before we arrived, and were very welcoming. The hotel has a romantic, Parisian feel to it, but with a modern twist. The cocktails in the Shell bar were superb and the breakfast was also lovely. The rooms all face onto the courtyard which gave a very nice outlook. I would definitely stay here again next time.
Be the first to ReplyVery cosy hotel and good location
We had our mother-daughter trip to Paris and stayed at this lovely hotel. We had a lovely room, not big- but the design of the room was wonderful. We had a cozy little terrace outside our room which we enjoyed a lot. The staff was friendly and helpful. And also the breakfast was really nice. We had a wonderful stay here and both of us want to come back. :)
Be the first to ReplyLovely boutique hotel, centrally located.
Our tour group of Mom’s and Daughters stayed for four nights. My daughter, granddaughter and I had adjoining rooms with comfortable beds and beautifully decorated rooms. The rooms were quite small, as was the bathroom, but I expected that for Paris. Our included breakfast was tasty and plentiful (the banana bread was my favorite). The hotel staff, especially Olivia at the front desk were always friendly and accommodating. The location, while centrally located and a short walk to the Louvre and other monuments was a little gritty…not bad, just a little, but I think that’s to be expected so close in to central Paris. The hotel is tucked away off the street though and was peaceful and calm. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Splendid stay, flawless in all respects, extremely friendly staff, beautiful yet easy-going setting, great breakfast, perfect position right in a very safe and lively area, close to everything, this was really the perfect stay in Paris.
Be the first to ReplyThe most chic hotel, I’ve already booked my next stay!
Everything about this hotel was wonderful. When looking for a hotel in Paris I wanted something with character that was quintessential Parisian (not like those chain hotels with boring decor that you could find in any other capital city). The Grand Boulevards did not disappoint. My room was perfect and so relaxing. The bathroom was a great size and was very stylish. Despite some reviews saying the rooms were small I found it to be perfect (yes there wasn’t the much space for a suitcase but it didn’t ruin my experience). I had a great room that opened onto the internal courtyard with my own little table and chairs. The chocolates on my pillow each night were a lovely touch too. Staff were very friendly and accomodating and made my stay pleasant. The breakfast was amazing too. Great made to order eggs and good choice of fruit, pastries, yoghurt, juice etc. I recommended this hotel to another solo traveller friend and she loved it too. I have already booked to come back here with my partner in September 2023. Thank you for an amazing stay!
Be the first to ReplyLots of things to love, a few not so much
I've thought long and hard about this review as I have mixed feelings about this hotel. So I'm going to start with the good and great things (there were a lot!). - The welcome we received at Reception and the assistance we were given with arranging dinners, taxi's etc - Lovely restaurant area (great design touches) and attentive service with good food - roof top bar and interior bar - very lively and great bartenders Things that I didn't work for us: - Tiny room (and I mean really small) with no space to unpack (or store) suitcases. Just a few hangers above the mini bar. - the bed was also tiny - my husbands feet hung off the end! - Towels clean but a little shabby for a 4 star hotel - Constantly having to log into wifi became tiresome and I'd expect better from this class and price of hotel The bed, however, was comfy and the bathroom lovely - super clean with lovely touches and possibly the best hotel hairdryer I've ever used (huge plus!). The hotel staff were really nice although with a very casual approach. Also, the bar and restaurant area is pretty upbeat so if it's a quiet, restful or romantic escape you are looking for, maybe consider other choices.

My now Fiancé and I had the most amazing time at this hotel, great location and the staff are fantastic. From Arianna at Reception to the bar staff and restaurant staff, we could not have asked for a better trip. Location is very central to everything and the hotel building itself is stunning. We will definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplyCharming hotel - lovely staff
This is a really charming hotel. Rooms are lovely and even if small are well designed and well appointed. There is a lovely cosy bar downstairs and a lovely roof terrace bar. Staff are exceptional - attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended - thank you for a lovely stay.
Be the first to ReplyStylish, comfortable hotel in a great location
The room and bathroom were both stylish and clean, and the bed extremely comfortable. The balcony was also lovely and we enjoyed an espresso sitting outside. The rooftop bar is great and the service excellent. We did not have eat in the hotel, as it is walking distance of many great restaurants but the restaurant looked lovely. A great place to stay - we all return again
Be the first to ReplyNew life style Hotel in Paris, big rooms, great roof terrace and Bar.
Stayed 3 nights for a business trip in Paris.
It is well located on 17 boulevard Poissonière just outside a tube station and a short taxi ride from Gare du Nord
Life style hotel with cool design, interior refurbished recently. The breakfast / dining Bar on the ground floor under the glass roof is great. I have held breakfast and coffee meetings there and the staff is quiet, efficient.
One comment: the kitchen does not vent very well and it smells the kitchen. Breakfast is very nice, bread is great.
I stayed in a room on the first floor with 6m high ceilings. Design cool, small but efficient - double bed. It is situated just above the glass roof and it was noisy as the bar gets busy.
I asked to be accommodated in another room and the staff obliged with no issues, hyper nice and professional. One point, don t choose this hotel if you need to work or do calls: the desk is like a side table and there is only a small timber stool to sit on. Not the place for excel / word / teams calls… however, from a price /location / facilities perspective this is great value for money for Paris.
They have a great roof bar terrace, with very knowledgeable staff from the experimental cocktail company and discovered there the liqueur de noyaux sour cocktail. Recommend warmly speaking with the staff at the bar. In the winter, plastic bubbles and winter warmers protect from the cold. It was nice! I would recommend increasing food bites choices up there. The two planchas are great but could have more choice.
Lovely
Great location, lovely staff, great room (lovely design), very quiet... No complaints to be made. Would stay there again or recommend it!
I didn't get to try the bar as with COVID cases rising in Paris, I preferred to avoid common areas.
Hipster, arrogant, not worth the money
We booked the junior suite for 3 nights.
Overall nice room, cool decoration, great location.
However, when you pay more than 500 euros per night, there are certain expectations from a 4 star hotel.
The first night, there were not sufficient towels provided. The second night, the complimentary water and coffee were not refilled. Water and wine glasses were still dirty and used. The mini bar however was refilled…
We called the reception desk twice to ask for the refill of coffee and water. The guy on the phone was extremely rude! (“Madam, i thought you wanted coffee and now you say you want to drink water?”).
Breakfast was very poor. The choices are limited. The cheese and ham were dry every single time. As if it was placed there the evening before. The fresh fruit and granola were excellent.
When checking out, the person at the reception desk seemed very busy. We waited there, then she allowed another person, who arrived after us, to check out first. I believe the “manager” was there as well. That lady did not even take the time to say a simple bonjour to the guests in front of her. And that sums up why staff is arrogant, ignorant and sometimes friendly, if you are lucky… because that all starts at the top.
We visit Paris twice a year, but we will not book this hotel again.
I would not really recommend. There are other great choices in this wonderful city.
Beautiful, great location, friendly helpful staff
We stayed here as a family of three my husband, Myself and our 8 month old son. The hotel has a wonderful Parisian feel the rooms are warm and cosy with a nice view. The location is fantastic with plenty of amenities including a supermarket and a baby shop which proved very handy. The hotel is within walking distance to the Louvre and sacre Coeur. The staff were very friendly and attentive nothing was too much trouble for them from delivering food to our rooms to providing a travel cot for our son. Our 8 month old son is formula fed so we still have to sterilise his bottles. The team were very helpful in assisting us with this and microwaving the sterilising bags for us. Unfortunately on one occasion the microwave was set too high causing the bottles and spoon inside the bag to burn/melt. The hotel manager Camille was very apologetic and kindly assisted my husband to the shop and purchased/replaced the damaged bottles and spoons. This was a very kind, compassionate and professional way to deal with the matter. My only negative feedback is that prior to our arrival we had booked a standard room we were assured this would be enough space for us 3. However on arrival to the room it was considerably too small with our family the luggage and baby cot. Yes everything did fit but it was far too cramped. On the 2nd night we upgraded to a superior room for a rate of €20 per night (which was discounted) Whilst we weren’t overly happy about this we were grateful for the extra space which was much needed. My only comment would be please advise families with small children/babies to book a superior room simply due to space and comfort. This would save a lot of hassle. Many thanks for a lovely stay and hospitality once again!
Be the first to ReplyA dream getaway in Paris, tres perfect, will be back again. One of my favourites stays ever.
What a wonderful treat.
From start to finish every touchpoint was perfect. Warm and welcoming hosts at the front desk who went above and beyond, walked my up to my room, made sure I was happy with it. Plus they send someone up to check the room and turn on the beautiful jazz music before you step in. What a nice touch that makes the Paris experience very real.
The room is perfect, thoughtful touches throughout.
The location is perfect, walking to all the key sites.
The staff are amazing, all so friendly and service orientated.
Cherry on top - the hotel has made strong sustainability commitments and took the effort to detail these - this is really important to me and pleasing to see. Hopefully more small hotels make this change.
Honestly didn't want to leave, started to think about ways I could extend my stay. I will definitely plan another trip to come back.
There is absolutely nothing I would change about my stay - thank you thank you thank you and see you soon.
Thank you team for a wonderful stay and hopefully see you soon!
