Wonderful Easter lunch with family and friends. Delicious flavors of Salento ❤️
If you want a typical Salento moment, I recommend the Girone dei Golosi restaurant. Thanks to Alessandra for her kindness 🙏 Tortellina 😜

Very nice place, hospitable staff, good first courses, excellent and plentiful fried fish.

Very good starters and first courses. Average quality/price. I don't know if I would go back, I ate well, but without the "wow" factor.
Be the first to ReplyThe Excellence of Simplicity
Starting the year in harmony with your land that you always rediscover as genuine, warm and welcoming is an absolute value. I found all of this here right from the moment I booked when the owner, a delightful and courteous red-haired lady, kindly welcomed me into her room. his restaurant when I thought it was too late for a reservation for the first of the year. Well... at the "gourmets' group" I found that mix of sea and countryside that distinguishes our Salento: the pittule, the croquettes, the meatballs , broad beans with chicory and then salmon, anchovies, loin,… a range of home-made appetizers for all tastes, simple, delicate and genuine. Among the first courses I tasted the excellent pappardelle with wild boar and then the mixed grilled meat, all excellent. To close, the king of Salento: the hazelnut and pistachio spumoncino. What can I say? “The Excellence of Simplicity” and Happy New Year to everyone!

Very intimate and welcoming place... very attentive staff... crackling owner... the undisputed "queen" of the historic center of Nardò... Pacchero with a slightly risky combination but understandable by the refined and attentive palate... adequate wine list... Very pleasant evening and equally pleasant acquaintances... to try... we will return

Excellent discovery in the historic center of Nardò. Traditional dishes expertly prepared and well served. Excellent wines and quality second courses. See you soon to try other tasty dishes as soon as I'm back in the area. :-)

Beautiful sight in the alley where the restaurant is located, service is impeccable to say the least! Excellent mixed fried food, ok scottona burger and mouth-watering dessert. Very very well done 👏🏻

In a beautiful and evocative alley behind the Nardò basilica, we had dinner in this restaurant on the advice of some local citizens. First of all, the dishes (starters and first courses) are of the highest quality, tasty and excellent, then the friendly and very professional staff. Excellent place for dinner. Compliments!

It is our habit to look for characteristic places on the last evening of the holiday. What to say? Certainly encouraged by the reviews we chose the Girone dei Golosi: perfect from the appetizer to the coffee. Fried appetizer to start, followed by the tuna magnet to finish with the tuna steak, all accompanied by an excellent Primitivo. Optimal. My husband opted for the meat menu and was equally satisfied. Thanks to the availability of the kitchen for a small variation on the first course, as I have a very strong intolerance to garlic. Friendly staff, without being intrusive. We were unable to dine in the characteristic alley, but even inside the location is welcoming and comfortable with a quality choice of music. Good quality/price ratio
