We mainly came for the happy hour $1 oysters but also decided to try other dishes here. The assortment of house made sauces that came with the oysters were fun to try. I forgot the exact name but the yuzu one was my favorite. The menu items are creative and I was having a hard time choosing what I wanted to try. I ended getting the arugula chitarra pasta and the lobster roll. The pasta sauce was flavorful and the noodles were cooked well and fresh. The lobster roll was on the sweeter side. For drinks, I got the Internet girlfriend cocktail. It's a vodka drink with Szechuan peppercorn. I don't recommend it unless you like Szechuan flavor. It was very different and I'll definitely get something else next time haha. The service was great. You can really tell they value teamwork because multiple staffs came by our table either taking orders, dropping off food, or checking in on us. The environment was very cozy but with good amount of space. It's good place for a causal dining or special occasion. It is a more pricey dining place. Many of the items are sold at market price. They also have a health and wellness charge. The fee wasn't a lot but just an FYI (receipt attached). I recommend getting a reservation because there's always a line out the door before the restaurant opens
The food and experience at Jacqueline are both so special.
My friend and I did the "let us cook for you" tasting menu experience where we received 10 courses served family style. The courses started off light and I was worried that I would still be hungry but by the end I was stuffed! The menu is seafood-forward so being from Los Angeles I thought that $90/pp was a great value for what we got. The menu changes based on what is fresh so I won't detail what we received but I did have two favorite items. The squid ink udon noodles with shrimp, squid, crab, spinach and chili crisp butter was packed with umami and you can't go wrong with a good udon noodle! The polenta fritters with 24 month aged serrano ham and green garlic aoli was also a wonderful combination of flavors and a great contrast to all of the seafood courses. They ended the meal with a panna cotta with a candle in it for my birthday, a super nice touch. All of the staff were warm and professional and we loved our meal here. You can order a-la-carte from the menu as well.

Can't believe I just heard about Jacqueline! What a find! Happy hour is the time to go, oysters at $1 each and Pinot Grigio for $10 a glass, it's usually around $16. I had the smoked mussels, Dungeness crab toast and panne cotta for dessert. Each dish was fabulous, can't wait to go back and try more menu items!

This is the place you can keep coming back to knowing you will get consistent attentive service, fresh seafood and an amazing dining experience. If you're lucky enough to get here for 5-6 pm you'll be able to enjoy $1 oysters (insane) and drink specials. We love ordering their crudo plates as well as the whole fish.

Everyone was so sweet and accommodating especially with not having a reservation we were able to get in. The $1 oyster is a steal and they shuck it fresh in front of you, but it is only limited to 2 orders of a dozen. The array of house made sauces were so good too! It was so fun to try them all individually and then mix what we liked best. The lobster roll was to die forrrrr, it was a mix of sweetness and salty! Probably the best lobster roll I've ever had, and I've had plenty even in Boston! The crab toast was also amazing!! Their cocktails were spectacular and I'm already dying to go back! But definitely make a reservation asap if you can!

Delicious seafood; comfortable vibe
We got there early enough for oyster happy hour ($1 per shucked oyster). Jacqueline serves its shucked oysters with small eyedropper bottles filled with different vinegars and sauces. The oysters were excellent and some of the sauces were standouts. We got a series of small plates to share. Portions aren't large, but the food was both creative and delicious.

Oysters, fried kanapachi lettuce wraps, polenta fritters with a white wine hit the spot! Service was friendly and informative. Street parking was easily found but might be more difficult later in the evening.

This place is a real charmer - a bit precious with the shabby-chic (the love of mismatched china/silverware runs strong), but all finesse when it comes to the food itself. If you've come here, it's to eat fish/shellfish, and they have it spades in every section of the menu. We decided to choose our own adventure because our third diner was a 10 y.o. (that said the $90/person tasting looked a real treat for the folks who were sitting to our right - we'll have to come back to try that, sans child). We started out with the warm baguette (bread is a must-have for the younger set) and several of the raw dishes from the top of the menu. Nothing stood out as particularly memorable, but it was all tasty enough (the smoked scallop was the favorite). We moved on to the Mizuna green goddess salad (totally addictive - so delicious, with those crackling bread crumbs), and the crab toast (extremely rich and easily shared by 3 people; the butter/crab/Calabrian chili trifecta was so good; a must-try for sure). Last but not least: the whole smoked trout and the black squid ink udon. Jacqueline really knocked it out of the park with this last course. The fish was so beautifully prepared - soft yet toothsome, perfectly deboned, and subtly smoky. I will be thinking about it with longing for - well, probably forever? And the udon/seafood dish: pure decadence on a plate. It paired well with the trout. No room for dessert this time, unfortunately, but we will be back. As far as service goes: it's on par with the food (warm and unfailingly professional).

At first glance, I didn't notice this place before, but I had to bookmarked apparently and this is the first time I tried it and oh man, every dish those small and for sharing is amazingly delicious especially the seafood pasta with a variety of mushrooms when you get those long skinny mushrooms in there, man, they hold a lot of that buttery lemon citrus flavor and I just wanted to drink the juices alone in a cup! We didn't order any dessert, but I'm sure those were tasty as well. Every dish was delectable and very flavorful. The service was nice and the ambience is not loud at all but very good for group settings or special occasion. Now this place is pricey, so don't be caught off guard when you see the bill, but it's not like you're gonna be coming here all the time so it's great to dine in once in a while.

Ordered: -Dozen oysters -Crab toast -Cocktail: safe word Pro: -The guys shucking the oysters are really nice!! Buy them a drink!! They are shucking nonstop and while we were sitting at the bar we appreciated their hard work -We appreciated how many types of sauces we could use on our oysters, and they had a good variety to pick from. All were fresh and juicy! -Crab toast was buttery, rich and savory. Definitely a comforting taste we enjoyed! Con: -We wish we were given the choice of where to sit after a 1.5 hr wait on our date night. There were plenty of open seats that weren't filled for a good amount of time :/

We had two seats at the end of the bar (closest to the wall) great seats, fun atmosphere, amazing cocktails, wine, appetizers, and an fluid team delivering the best meals we’ve had in a long time! The entire staff works so well together and it all shines through in the food, the energy and the overall experience. We are so happy we made the reservation to come here. Highly recommended and well worth the price. Wow, the food was so good! Burrata, oysters, smoked black cod, and the halibut, so fresh and so tastey just unreal.

Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Jacqueline Portland to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Jacqueline Portland!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
