Good
Average sushi on the strip in Vegas. Nice location, high prices (but average for the city). Menu needs to be expanded a little but what we ate was more than satisfactory.
Be the first to ReplyIt was fine
We love asian cuisine so Koi was naturally on our radar. When we showed up at around 7pm, it was quite empty and frankly it remained quite empty for most of our dinner. Food It’s fine. Honestly nothing we had was “the best” of that thing that you can get in Vegas. It was on the bland side and though I wouldn’t label it as “bad” in any sense of the word, I wouldn’t say it’s too memorable either. It’s just the lack of flavor that did it for us. Asian cuisine is known for the explosion of flavors and we just didn’t get that here. The sauces were ok btu the food was so bland that it all sort of just went “meh”. Staff Relaxed and pleasant staff. Waiter was attentive and quick. Vibe The place looks great. Very contemporary and clean vibe. Great lighting. Pretty place. Overall There are too many restaurants in Vegas to outright recommend you stop by here or make this a priority. That said, if you do stop by, it won’t be a terrible experience.

We did the happy hour menu here twice and loved it. I think we tried everything on the menu. Everything was excellent, especially the potstickers and teriyaki shrimp. And the chicken yakitori. Kirin beer on tap, and the bartenders make an outstanding old fashion as well, according to my aficionado buddy. Excellent service.
Be the first to ReplyWell worth the visit!
-our first time at this venue, I chose this because it is right beside the Criss Angel Theatre (we had plans to see the show). WOW!…what a surprisingly great surprise. The hostess, the waitstaff, the owner(?) we’re all so lovely. The food and wine were amazing as well as reasonably priced.
Be the first to ReplyGreat dinner option- Amazinf sushi
We went for a pre-show dinner. Our waiter asked if we had a show and timed the meal appropriately. Great food and a nice experience. Probably our best value meal in Vegas as well
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful and delicious. There’s nothing Koi about it!
When looking for restaurant options while staying at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, I considered Koi early on. We decided to give it a try and boy were we happy that we did! Tucked way back in the corner on the mezzanine level, I was quite surprised once we entered the dining room. It was beautifully lit and very contemporary. The music was upbeat, which created a lively atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the presentation was carefully thought of. Our wait staff was the highlight of our meal. Robert and Andre were attentive, informative, and funny. I would recommend this restaurant highly and plan on keeping it on my list of favorite restaurants while in Las Vegas.

Koi Las Vegas is a great option for delicious and fresh Japanese food in a cool and unique atmosphere. The staff here is very attentive and makes sure that you have everything that you need for the best meal. Good experience every time I have been here.
Be the first to ReplyStaff Rude - food ok
Business trip. Food was decent - some items really good. Felt unfortunately like a Nobu knock off with a lot of items just like Nobu. Bad news - with a later dinner reservation the club was starting up. The staff were OBNOXIOUS about removing plates and shoving into our space. They interrupted conversations and served on the wrong side. If someone would have just said "hey we're closing soon" (9pm) we would have known - but they SHUT OFF THE LIGHTS on us. Rude. Don't think I'd go back.
Be the first to ReplyDouble Tipping (40%!)
We have been to Koi at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas over 25 times since 2008 (it opened in 2007 when the hotel used to be Aladdin). Lately, they have been adding a 20% Service Charge, which is basically a Tip and still suggesting that the Gratuity is not included (please see the 2 pictures). Unsuspecting patrons may end up leaving over 40% tip. This has been one of our favorite restaurants with excellent food and mostly excellent service. However, I would strongly urge the management to drop these unethical and greedy business practices unless they don’t mind bad publicity and loosing their long-term customers. They have lost 1 Star with us.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food for pre and post Mindfreak show
We arrived early for the Chris Angel show and so went in for a drink. It was happy hour and the appetisers were very tasty and well priced. After the show we went back for dinner, really to avoid the crowds. The sushi and tempura dishes were superb. Not cheap, but its Vegas so what do you expect!
Be the first to ReplySpacious seating, attentive staff, specially for my young son who wanted Japanese food on this trip
This was a bit of a last minute decision as my son wanted Japanese food. A delightful experience from the warm welcome from the Tricia, the greeter, all the way to Luan, our server. I feel in general the waiters are working harder than they have before (because fewer of them) but that did not get in the way of this professional. He saw the grin on my son's face when he tried the edamame appetizer and bonded with him. The other associate made sure our drink refills were always topped up. Lots of open space and all masked staff member was the icing on the visit.
Be the first to ReplyAverage food
Sushi pretty much average. Sea bass good portion but had a bit of a fishy taste that seabass should not have.
Be the first to ReplyGood food but very expensive
Good food and service. Rainbow and California were good, not great. Same with the Edamame. Lobster mini tacos were very good. Drinks were fine but small. Downside was that this is one of the most expensive Japanese restaurants we've been in. The other downside is the load Rap like music playing in the Casino permeates the restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyReally really good
Really great service and food. Waiter was very on point with recommendations. Starters: koi krispy rice, tuna tartare, Kobe pot stickers. Entered: miso cod — absolutely amazing
Be the first to ReplyInteresting and delicious Japanese Menu
Delicious and interesting selection of Japanese creations was offered on the menu. We had the chef’s pre fix three course menu for two which is reasonably priced at $89 for ten items. The service is friendly and professional too. We did nit do the happy hour but the lounge looks comfortable with many sofas and the menu looked fun.
