La Coqueta Tulum Reviews from The Last Year
Great food and experience
Since I arrived to La Coqueta with my hubby. Karen welcomed us with the biggest smile. She is very attentive and always happy to help. The food is a 10/10 everything we order was spectacular. We were suppose to stop by after driving from Playa del Carmen for a quick meal as we order, we couldn’t stop eating. Everything was delicious and we experienced amazing service overall.
Highly recommend! Pull right up to the door on a scooter
Highly recommend! Pull right up to the door on a scooter and be greeted by a hospitable staff with great service and great tacos!
My group tried a number of tacos.
Excellent flavor and service was great. Wonderful margaritas!
A classic !
We went to this restaurant 7 years ago and loved it. We wanted to go back and we were not disappointed. The service is fast and the dishes are always delicious. Alambre is one of my favorite dishes. As a bonus, everything is at a low price, we love it!
Great place to eat, but less cozy than it seems.
Great food, but it is small and along the road. It looks a bit nicer in the photos, but the fajitas were just fine.
Decent food but not cheap
We visited this place for brunch before heading out to the tulum ruins. Mainly because it was open early. The food was okay, but not exceptional. Better burritos are available in tulum for less. However, the atmosphere is very nice with upbeat music playing and verY nice staff.
Went back again and again!!
This place is a hidden gem!! This was our favorite place after eating here several times during our month in Tulum. Every meal, and had several different items, was deliciously prepared. Cervezas were ice cold. Put this one on your list!!
Stop to eat homemade
What can I tell you, do you want to eat Mexican and well, go to La Coqueta, we found it and we liked it a lot and well served and quality
Breakfast and Margs!
Our semi regular breakfast spot at the Kaab branch. Delicious Mexican breakfast options, fresh juices and even made us takeout coffees on the days we were diving! Of course we also stopped in for an amazing margarita or two (frozen or on the rocks - your call!). The service is top notch and so friendly.
Lunch break on the main road of Tulum
Very good restaurant. Friendly, smiling welcome. Good and well-stocked food. Correct hygiene is important. Big cocktails. Only problem close to the main road... but that's due to the city of Tulum...
Go for the guacamole!
Great guacamole! Mole sauce was heavy on coffee flavor, chicken enchiladas w/red sauce were very flavorfull, shrimp tacos both grilled and fried were also great. Fabulous margaritas!
Great food and ambience!
Absolutely loved the food here!! I ordered Tacos and my partner got a Burrito and we both loved each of our dishes. The food was really well priced and staff were lovely and so friendly! We also got Margaritas which were great, cheap and delicious!!! Highly recommend!
Really good food and service.
However its location on a major corner intersection means that all traffic stops in front of the restaurant. The smell of diesel and the noise is distracting and unpleasant. Compared to other restaurants of the same caliber it's rather pricey. Guacamole was nearly US$8 a serving. Lunch for two was about what we pay at a mediocre Mexican place back home.
Delicious food, kind staff, fun and playful atmosphere!
Delicious food, kind staff, fun and playful atmosphere! Fresh food beautifully served. Don't skip the homemade tortillas or picante salsa!
The food was decent but the drinks were pretty good.
Definitely a stop in if you're looking for a quick dinner.

Good question. Currently the bidder will have to include the prepaid dinner price plus bid to secure the reservation. AT is currently working on an upcoming release where the prepaid amount and the bid amount are two separate transactions. Happy Bidding!
