A cute little French restaurant set in a historic street, very welcoming staff, quick service, tasty food with a reasonable menu du jour. Make sure you book as we only got a table because someone turned up too late for their reservation. The salmon m
Terrific Coq Au Vin and Waitstaff!
This was one of my must do restaurants. We stopped by on Friday and made reservations for Sunday. VERY popular for good reason. Everyone had a wonderful meal - two of us had the Coq au Vin and it was fabulous. Our waiter was VERY attentive and e

Beyond wonderful. Make the effort and time to experience a meal here. Tasty, with unique twists, make this restaurant one of the best in Paris. My husband and I visited this restaurant on an anniversary trip. We had heard good things about this rest
Absolutely worth waiting
Although I had to wait a little while for a table, it was absolutely worth it — the perfect way to spend my last evening in Paris. The foie gras was incredibly smooth and rich, melting in the mouth, and the confit de canard was beautifully seasone
Excellent food, with options for all tastes, fair price and no language barrier
My wife went many years ago to La Jacobine, and because of her good experience, we decided to include it in our trip to Paris. The restaurant was conveniently close to our hotel, which was an extra motivation factor. So, Thursday, Sept 11, we went t
Cute Local Restaurant
We walked in without a reservation and had lunch. Highly touted for their French onion soup, however it was average compared with others in the area. Perhaps next time we’ll have a full meal.
Worth the wait - great French bistro
Very popular little restaurant so need to book and be patient. Excellent service once seated. Aubergine gratin a delicious very cheesy starter. Good choice of classic French regional dishes.
Great ambiance, but frankly a tourist trap.
Great wine but the food is mid. Check out the historic stuff like napoleons hat but I'd frankly do drinks or appetiser only
Charming Restaurant
We enjoy coming to this restaurant for several reasons. 1. It’s located in a small alley off the beaten path in a charming area. 2. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with courteous staff and tasty food. 3. Food is good! It’s challengi

Highly recommended
Truly nice place with delicious food and friendly service. Better to book in advance. Price is descent. It certainly is a must try.
Appalling discrimination disguised as policy
Absolutely appalling experience — I strongly advise others, especially international visitors and people of colour, to avoid this place. Despite booking online and calling in advance (with no one answering the phone), we were rudely turned away. T

I'll start off simple it's a 10/10 it lives up to the hype.
This was the best meal I had in Paris hands down. The food taste so fresh, not overly salty, and the portions are perfect. We had the duck gizzard salad and I'm not usually a huge fan of gizzard, but this was just amazing the pairing of the sal
This is our special occasion place for brunch.
The onion soup is the best I've had and the vegetarian salad includes a hearty slice of a vegetable quiche. The hot chocolate is epic and all the desserts are fabulous. We love the servers, both so professional and friendly. The rooms have beaut

Got turned away because they were too crowded and we didn't
Got turned away because they were too crowded and we didn't speak French. There were lots of tables empty. Why would they not take 2 more customers. We didn't understand and were insulted.

So much more than just a meal
My partner and I found this restaurant walking back one evening and saw how busy it was. We asked to book for the next evening , however we were advised to turn up about 8. We arrived and Anton (the man on the door) remembered us from the previous e
Fabulous
My daughter had found this local restaurant on TripAdvisor while we were searching a place to have dinner together. Since there was a line of 12-15 people infront of it we went to another restaurant near on the same street -which was also a very nice
Wonderful bistro, with great desserts.
This is now my favorite restaurant in Paris. We come to Paris a couple times a year, and try to eat two or three times at La Jacobine. It's a very reasonably priced bistro, with traditional french food. The desserts are wonderful. Try
Excellent Anniversary dinner
First night in Paris and had our Anniversary dinner there. Got a local to make us reservations. They only take them in person. If no reservation, you won’t have dinner till really late. Service was friendly and helpful for us as Americans. Had all

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to La Jacobine Paris at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the La Jacobine Paris page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousFish68, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FamousFish68 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousFish68 for any questions Peter may have as FamousFish68 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousFish68 now uses their connections at La Jacobine Paris to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousFish68 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FamousFish68 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FamousFish68's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at La Jacobine Paris!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
