Food is delicious and the vibes are perfect if you want a sexy date night vibe or girls/guys night out. I loved the lamb chops with chimichurri and jollof rice, and the suya was authentically spicy. Others ordered the wings and macaroni and cheese and they enjoyed those too. The service is great. Even when I order for delivery or pickup and call to make a modification, the hostesses make sure to accommodate. I once parked illegally to pickup an order, and the hostess brought my order out to my car so I wouldn't get a ticket! That's what I call customer service. Now the drink prices are...pricey but it's Times Square so let's bffr. But the ambiance more than makes up for it to me.

Went here for a friend's birthday and was greeted with a lively environment and good music! However service was a little too slow considering after about 90 minutes the hostess came over and told us we had to move to the bar because the next reservation was there. I did really like the jollof rice but it was just a little too slow for a lit Sunday brunch!

The food here was excellent! Hands down the best African food I've ever had. The service was great and the server was very attentive. Would definitely go back
Be the first to ReplyI found this place on Tik Tok with amazing videos of people
I found this place on Tik Tok with amazing videos of people dancing and enjoying great music. This business is located near Times Square and is dimly lit and lively. We greeted by three hostesses that offered seating or the bar. We chose the bar and ordered a coconut margarita and a classic margarita , as well as, the jerk wings. Everything was good and the wings were extremely spicy and I say spicy I mean that. My heat level is high, but the food was great and the bartender was attentive. After we ate we went upstairs to the additional bar where another dj was playing Afro beats. We danced and enjoyed more cocktails. I would definitely return.
Be the first to ReplyMy girlfriend and I came in for some drinks and a good time
My girlfriend and I came in for some drinks and a good time after a show last week. Instead we were greeted with overpriced drinks, rude and unacceptable service. I am not a bartender but a margarita and a whiskey neat should NOT take 30 minutes to prepare. On top of the "wonderful" reception, they charged me a healthy gratuity charge. I hope they make the proper changes because the place looks promising. Thanks for reading.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time I had a great experience.
I made reservations for 615pm, today. I told the person in the phone I was coming with children. They said okay. We show up at 6/22 because of parking and they give you a 15minute grace period. When I arrive we get turned away. Before that one hostess says she will get someone else. That woman blocks me from exiting and asks how she can help already knowing she can't. I explain to her how infuriated I am because I would not have driven from CT in traffic had I known we would not be seated. Then the woman proceeds to say well it's 630pm now so you're time for the reservation is up. Fuck that place never going back. Tatiana restaurant it is!
Be the first to ReplyI went to Lagos for my birthday and it was great.
My sister and two bff had an amazing time. The food was really good and the drinks were delicious. I have the jollof rice with lamb chops and plantains, which were amazing. My sister had wings and Mac and cheese which she said the wings the best she had and the max and cheese were ok. The service was very helpful. I was definitely recommended everyone to go. The music was lively and will definitely have you on your feet. The place is really beautiful. So please if you have not try it yet please go.
Be the first to ReplyLet me start by saying that I didn't give the establishment
Let me start by saying that I didn't give the establishment 2 stars based upon the food but instead the service. I will give my honest review based upon my experience at Lagos on the evening of Sunday February 26th 2023 once we arrived around 7pm. We had a reservation for 7 guest in celebration of a birthday but they sat us at a table that was clearly only large enough to seat 5 guest comfortably. Luckily 2 guest were unable to attend (which the server was unaware of) so the table ended up working out because the server clearly could care less about our comfortability because when we reminded her, we possibly had 2 more guest who would be joining us, she said that it was the only table available. If the other 2 guest had actually came we would have literally been sitting on each other laps. Our servers name was Oluwatosin A. (check#248, table 201) and she received a nice tip of about $85 which we thought she did not deserve. Once seated, we immediately felt rushed. She came for our drink order and said it was mandatory that we order our appetizers and entrees at the same time. We all felt some type of way about this demand because that isn't usually the way an order is taken, not to mention the fact that we didn't have time to really decide what we really wanted to eat and view the menu extensively because of the rush but we complied and made a expedited decision. Normally your drinks come out, followed by your appetizers 5-10 mins later and then followed up by your entree 20-30 mins after if the order is taken in the traditionally correct way. Unfortunately that not how this went. Our drinks and appetizers came out at once which wasn't that big of a deal but became one when our entrees came out literally 5-7 mins later when we still had plates full of of appetizers on the table, still awaiting our condiments that we requested for them. So now we have a full spread of food of the table with literally no room to put anything else, like we were having a family style thanks giving dinner. It was very uncomfortable and frustrating. Once we were done with our appetizers and began eating our entrees, it was cold. At this point we are over it and asked that it was packed to go. Additionally, one of my friends ordered a mock-tail because she cannot drink alcohol and the mock-tail came fully loaded with alcohol, that could have harmed her health wise. Last but definitely not least. Once our food was packed we asked for hookah because we couldn't order nor enjoy one while eating because we clearly didn't have the time do the the rush nor the space do to the crowded table. Once asked for hookah service, we were told by the server that our time at the table was up and we would have to find somewhere else to smoke it. So I asked her how is our time up and why the rush when the table directly next to use clearly had been there for at least an hour before our arrival (being that they already had entrees on the table once we arrived) and were still there chilling, hanging, smoking hookah with their to go bags by their side. She said maybe because they had a reservation and wasn't a walk-in, and I said so did we (they had a different and clearly a better server). She then said parties over 5 have different rules and time allotments and at this point I was done talking with her and asked to speak to a manager which she refused to get. I then decided I wasn't going to beg anyone to take my service nor my money and told my party to gather their belongings so we could depart. We paid our check and went down the block to pink Lily lounge to continue drinking and smoke hookah, which was definitely a vibe and greatly serviced. Overall, the food was definitely great but I suggest that they train some of their servers on how to properly serve and provide great costumer service. This was a dinner disaster and the birthday girl was very unhappy with her choice of establishment.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is disgusting.
The staff is rude and unreasonable. The communicate was terrible between the management and the owner when it came to resolving an issue. I was not please with any part of this experience.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food , music and atmosphere.
The jollof wasn't the best but overall I had a great time
Be the first to ReplyNice atmosphere, great food.
Service was somewhat slow before six, but it picked up and improved. Kitchen was quick and the food was very good.
Be the first to ReplyWould not be returning, one of the body guards sucks.
Better of going to the other clubs
Be the first to ReplyI went here with a few friends and I am happy I did.
My friend helped me to expand my palettes. I've never experienced eating Nigerian food and I must say it was delicious. I literally was compelled to lick my plate (ghetto ). Everything was nicely seasoned and the drinks were on point and not watered down. The atmosphere was great. While we sat and ate and swayed to the tunes , we were privileged to see an African dance, which was bomb. We will definitely be dinning here again soon.
Be the first to ReplyLet me just start off by saying I'm ONLY giving this place
Let me just start off by saying I'm ONLY giving this place 3 stars because the waiter Deja was amazing, the ambiance of the place is amazing, & the entertainment: a guy playing a saxophone & 3 ladies dancing was amazing, otherwise the prices are ridiculous, food was absolutely TRASH!! My lamb chops were too charred, small & no seasoning, fried rice was hard & salty AF, the jollof just taste like tomato sauce, only my salad & the dressing was good. I would not go back definitely overhyped.
Be the first to ReplyNice place but no alcohol.
Should've made that known before customers enter. Restaurant is beautiful, lots of places to take pictures.

Such a wonderful experience!! I lived in Houston, so I have had delicious Nigerian Food. My brother in law is also Nigerian, so I've had traditional home cooked dishes as well. ย That said, since leaving Houston, I've found that many who purport to serve Nigerian food aren't quite up to what I've had in the past. This was NOT the case. ย I'd easily give 55 ย Rating for the food. ย Everyone looooved their meals, from the the Red Stew, to the Jollof Rice and Roast Chicken, it was all scrumptious. ย We'd also give 5 Stars for the staff. Attentive, friendly. Professional. The perfect place to have dinner before a show.

Be the first to ReplyEhhhhh.
My sentiments after leaving the establishment. We dined on a Sunday evening at 7:15 and were able to be seated immediately. The restaurant was relatively empty upon our arrival, but by the time we sat, had time to read the menu and wait for our server, more people had come in.Speaking of waiting. We waited about 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. A quick "I'll be right with you" finally came 10 mins in. 5-7 mins later, the same gentleman asked us if we'd like water. We said yes and proceeded to order, only to be told he was only taking our water order and someone else would be with us shortly. Okay cool I guess. Except not, because that took another 15 mins. The table beside us was also confused at the double server thing but, sure.Once she finally came we were ready to order everything at once. Jollof rice with goat, Lagos fried rice with chicken, Lagos salad and a side of sweet plantains. They also don't have their liquor license (not sure if they did and lost it or never had it to begin with) so I opted for a gingerale with a splash of cranberry. They do have a mocktail menu however. The food came in all of 5-7 mins which, no complaints, but makes me wonder about the freshness, but I digress. The salad dressing was really really good so that was great. The rest of the food was decent. Just decent. Not bad or disgusting in anyway but no wow factor whatsoever. My goat was majority bones however and who wants to spend an extra $18 on two bony pieces of goat.We ate, enjoyed the ambiance (the space is beautifully decorated & the music is good) and asked for the check. I was surprised to see that 20% gratuity was automatically added for a party of 2. I scanned the menu and website to see if there was any mention of added gratuity (I know some places automatically add for parties of 4-6+) but didn't see any note. I did however see a note that menu prices are subject to change at any point and actual prices may not reflect what's posted on the menu. In our case it matched, but thought it was worth mentioning. All in all, I was ready to go so I didn't press it. Would I recommend? Ehh. Would I dine again? Ehh.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is awesome! The food, music, lighting and staff.
It is, although a little difficult to locate it's new location in Times Square. Make sure to use a paid parking garage, otherwise there's no parking around Times Square. I love LAGOS NYC
Be the first to ReplyDeadass, this place is not the move.
I went on a sat night for the first time with a reservation that was made a week before, got there within the grace period with some members of the party and it was a constant back and forth to save the rsvp which was for a bday because the full party wasn't there. Nonetheless, they thankfully eventually allowed some of us to sit but the area was not even big enough for all of us. We literally thought it was a joke that they told us to sit in that area because logically it wasn't big enough but we move lol we already knew there wasn't alcohol so no complaints about that. The additional issue was that it took like 2 hrs to get half the tables apps not even all of our apps. Then after another additional 45 mins we finally got the rest of the food for the table and deadass, some of our orders had raw food that felt like they were undercooked and made the day before because it wasnt hot. At that point, we were ready to go and not even hungry anymore, and the worst part of it all was that gratuity was automatically included when the service/overall experience was horrible. Our waitress tried her best but even she was complaining to us about how low staffed they were when the place was overpacked and we just kept saying that affects our experience and everyone else already sitting inside the establishment as well meanwhile there was a whole line outside because they kept letting people in when inside was clearly overpacked and low staffed...needless to say- the service was problematic. It was just a lot. I truly hope they get it together in this new location because I had high hopes from hearing about them in their prev location, but tbh I personally won't be back. I'd suggest maybe trying out during the week and not during the weekends. Maybe service will be better during those times.
