Le Bilboquet Atlanta Reviews from The Last Year
I absolutely love this place.
The ambiance is so cute. The service is fantastic. And the food is amazing. The steak was perfect. The chicken was probably my favorite thing, it was amazing- I highly recommend ordering it. The crab avocado appetizer was delicious!!! My new go to spot in atlanta
Definitely reccomend.
Food was good but they are missing some key items on their menu like French onion soup. Parking is difficult. You can valet or you can park in the underground self parking lot nearby. We chose to park in the self parking lot but when trying to return to the lot we found that the door to the parking lot entrance was locked and had to go into a different entrance. Street parking is hard to find in this area.
Imagine going to a Mexican restaurant and the food tastes
Imagine going to a Mexican restaurant and the food tastes like it's from Thailand. Imagine going to an Italian restaurant and the food tastes like Peruvian. Imagine having your heart set on authentic soul food and you get soul sh*t. That's the best way to describe this restaurant. I don't know who/what/where their concept of French came from, but I can assure you, this is NOT a French restaurant. Despite the impeccable service and the beautiful decor, there is absolutely nothing I can say positive about this place. The roasted red pepper soup tasted like vegetable soup, and my steak was so disgusting that I took it home to see if I could dock it up myself. I'm really confused by their concept. Please understand, you don't have to "FUSE" French food. The culture of French food by itself is good. It's universal. All you have to do is put your spin on it. Their menu didn't even have popular French items like French Onion Soup, Coq Au Vin, Beef Bourgnion, Beef Wellington, etc.... This place is nasty! I was so shocked by the crowds though. I talked to the table next to me to understand the concept. They said the restaurant has different chefs and every night is different. Whatever that means.....If y'all know, please tell me. Either way, I can't recommend this place. If I go to a French restaurant, I want French food, not your idea of French food. I've been to France and I've eaten at a number of French restaurants in the US. I can assure you, this restaurant will go down as the worst French restaurant I've ever been to. The food doesn't represent the country. Not even close!
Great fancy dinner spot! Came here for dinner last night
Great fancy dinner spot! Came here for dinner last night with a friend. It wasn't too crowded but it filled up throughout the evening. They do accept reservations! They also validate parking for the Buckhead village parking deck for up to 2 hours. Just be sure to get your ticket validated at the host stand. We started with some cocktails. We got the tequila cocktail and the gin cocktail. All the drink options were so unique! For an appetizer, we got the tuna tartare. It was good, but I'd try something different next time. We split the Cajun chicken as our entree and were very impressed! Loved the sauce that came with it! So flavorful. Great location in the center of Buckhead village. They have a great outdoor patio as well if you come on a nice day.

Saturday Night Out on The Town Finally thought I'd get out
Saturday Night Out on The Town Finally thought I'd get out in society and try some food. scratch a few off my bucket list. I've heard extreme mixed feed back about at the restaurants at Buckhead shops so I stepped into this restaurant was greeted well at the front door and thing immediately went south as I sat at the bar. I watched as the two bartenders. purposely turned their backs to the only dark skinned individual at the bar for 11 total minutes Without a greeting. no bar was not busy as the gentleman and his wife sitting next to began to notice what was happening and summoned the bartender over. immediately she said oh I was aware you were there; that she was engaged in a conversation with the other bartender. here's a menu that she'll be back swoosh she was gone like that. Not really concerned if I needed any information or not. They were busy not busy at the time and I did enjoyed the ambiance of great people in good social engagement very nice. So the food starts to come out for others at the bar. No one still haven't taken my order. Once again the nice couple Simmons the bartender again. she finally takes my order. im sitting there no bread was brought out, no glass of water was poured. things are beginning to not sit well with me. My food comes out and that's it. I had to ask for utensils, ask for water which I didn't get and ask why was I not brought any bread. Her reply was the utensil and water sorry . But if you dont Ask for bread we don't have to bring any out. The nice couple next to me and several others around the exploded and stated enough of this mess and chsllege the bartender to her lie. That; they didn't ask for bread, utensils or water and received theirs that it's obvious you making a difference with man I ask to see the manager. she goes to the manger and have a conversation before bringing him over to me He arrived and (quote) I hear you making trouble in my restaurant get out now before I call the police, you people always causing problems Foriegn guy german or French accent. I got everyone's business card and will be turning this over to my legal team. Made a report with Buckhead shops security office and found out this is the restaurant that's has several of the same incidents with athletes of color coming to dine there And it's always the single men of color The crazy part is the food was decent.. my experience here want allow me to provide any more information on the food. Sorry foodie fans (ps) this is not the place to support if you do not condone racial profiling. If you do this is the place for you This is my experience with my customer service experience and food experience As I said the food was decent - customer service beyond horrible - patrons very nice
Need to Enforce Dress Code
This place was great - food, service atmosphere were all fantastic. The only problem is that they have a business casual dress code, which is one of the reasons why I went here. There is even a sign outside stating this policy that is very visible. However, immediately as I walked there there was a guy in a hoodie, torn/distressed jeans at the bar. I overlooked it because he was at the bar and left pretty quickly. After being seated I noticed that two guys sitting at the table next to us, both had on tee shirts, blue jeans, one with sandals and the other with slides that he took off at the table. Certainly not business casual by any stretch of the imagination.
Service is subpar for the location and price.
Food wasn't bad but will not be going back. Felt snubbed the whole time
Amazing place! And great service from Imani.
She was very attentive! Our food was wonderful, and I can't wait to return to try more of the menu. The only off-putting point of the evening was the host/maître d' that looked past me at the host stand to help a group behind me, then attempted to point me across the dining room to my table instead of walking me there. But that experience was short lived, and I can honestly say that everyone else was fabulous.
Another great night at Le Bilboquet!! Wonderful atmosphere.
Beautiful flowers. Fabulous food. Especially fun night tonight with 70s & 80s music. Sebastian took great care of us!
Insupportable!! Terrible, terrible experience.
The worst treatment at a restaurant in my life. The most disgusting treatment of a wait person by a manager that I've ever seen, in my life. What started as a festive birthday lunch ended with an hour-long forensic investigation by the incompetent manager into why we were charged for two bottles of $450 rosé champagne when in fact, we ordered and received two far less expensive bottles and not a rosé ONE HOUR. We waited and waited and waited and waited. One friend had left his card and gone to get the car. Where he sat and waited for an hour while the incompetent and rude manager grilled the wait person and ignored the fact that we had both a cork from one of our two bottles as well as a photograph that clearly showed that the glass pictured did not have a rosé champagne in it. "I have cameras all over the place," was his response when offered the photo. As if to imply that we'd switched out the bottles somehow. "This may save your ass," he said to the wait person when one of us took the cork to him. He also came out of the kitchen, brandishing an empty bottle of the rosé that we hadn't ordered, waving the bottle around like a deranged Hercule Poirot (to be clear, he was not French. The restaurant is, of course, so it seems an appropriate description.) "Your other friend left, so the three of you are going to have to pay," he said, as if to imply that we were trying to leave without paying the bill. If we had ordered the rosé, we would have paid for it. Horrible experience. Even though the food was a good experience, this treatment overshadowed everything. He ended up removing the two bottles from our final bill entirely, but at that point, it didn't matter. We all felt grubby and unwelcome. Happy f'ing birthday, criminals. To the ownership of this restaurant: You have a problem. This person has clearly worked there for several years, as evidenced in IG photos of staff from at least 2019. If your managers are allowed to treat staff AND clientele this way, then a pox be on your house. Never again. If you like to be treated badly by ass hats, I highly recommend this place. If you don't, there are plenty of other excellent French restaurants in Atlanta.
Insupportable!!! Horrible.

Lack of service for an expensive restaurant.
I went to le bilboquet for business dinner a week+ ago. The restaurant charged me for an item that we did not get (they were out of the soup) as well as an drink order that was wrong. When I reviewed the bill the next day, I called and spoke to a financial person at the restaurant (very nice and thorough). He was going to discuss with the manager. The manager has not gotten back to me in a week plus. I called back a few days later to connect with the manager and still, nothing. I am very frustrated by this lack of service for a meal that was almost $500. Not sure why they won't do the right thing here.
Sloppy Bar
Bartenders are just drink dispensers, no interaction, had to constantly ask for our wine to be poured from our bottle. Mussels were good but the sauce needed reducing as it was thin on flavour. I added butter to try and help. Bar was a mess and never bussed. Unfriendly bartenders! Used to go but would skip it now!
A classy restaurant with delicious food. Black folks LIKE to dress to impress.
Dress code enforcement. Thank God. A satisfied Black customer. We celebrate our birthdays with a dinner at Le Bilboquet because the customer service make us feel special and the food is excellent.
Family Friday Dinner
Just finished dining at this restaurant with my wife and daughter. My wife and I had been here many times before but my six-year-old and 9 year old had never had this experience. The food was good, and we felt the service was even better. Highlights included the top-shelf old-fashioned, the champagne recommended by our waitress, my wife's fish, my daughter's entrees (spaghetti and salmon) and the Foie gras terrine. Shout out to Catherine, our server who bent over backwards to make sure my daughter's enjoyed their dining experience. Yeah, we'll be coming back.
Live DJ Saturdays
Stopped in Saturday afternoon for drinks and had a blast. They had a live DJ (Just James) which made the whole experience that much better. Beautiful restaurant, lots of natural light and great music all around highly recommended 👌🏼

I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

You should probably cancel prior to the cancellation date per the cancellation policy. I would imagine you would only get reimbursed for a sold listing if you happen to be charged?

My first sale took about a week. But as the other commenter said stay ontop of your cancellation windows. There’s no reimbursement for those so make sure you cancel in time then just try again.
