This is generally in my rotation for more casual french food in a lively atmosphere. This is not a place you come for a quiet secluded table. You are on top of everyone and that generally adds to the experience. We had the sole which was fine but I found quite a few bits of bone in mine which I had not experienced in the past. Next time I will probably go viande just in case.
Be the first to ReplyStunning meal at Le Boudin Blanc.
I had snails followed by lamb which were both delicious. Service was attentive and quick throughout the evening and made us feel very welcome. Totally paid for what we got and would love to come again!
Be the first to ReplyI love, love, love this place! Their escargot was so good!
I love, love, love this place! Their escargot was so good! You just want to keep having more! Wine had good selections. We were so hungry and wanted to order everything. Our waitress was kind enough to inform us that it was. Alot of food and she made her recommendations. Glad she did. They were great recommendations and I would be back to try the rest. Great food, great service!

If You're Looking For Rude, THIS Is Your Place!First of all, let me say that the food was fine. Not off the chart, but tasty and decently presented. The service on the other hand was absolutely atrocious! We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of our concierge. My wife asked to be seated outside as it was a lovely evening. We were seated at the table immediately next to the front door even though there were better tables available, but it was extremely smokey from the houkkah bar next door and we asked to be moved inside. We were seated at the table immediately next to the bathroom. Not wanting to be "ugly Americans" we took our sets and asked for still water when offered. They brought us glasses of "Tap" ice and a bottle of mineral water and proceeded to pour. I am happy to pay for bottled water, but why on earth would I want it poured over ice cubes made with tap water? I may as well save the money and get tap water! I tried to explain this concept to 2 successive wait staff but none seemed to understand what I wanted or why I would be vexed. It took another 20 minutes before anyone would come back to the table for our order, this time a new, third waiter. Marci asked her usual Gluten Free questions, was asked if she would like some Gluten Free bread, and we placed our orders. She was the only one to receive any bread, and there was no butter or olive oil or anything other than a two pound upcharge; the rest of the table never received any bread although bread baskets were evident around the restaurant. Our wine and cocktails came, our appetizers came and then we sat and waited for our entrees. And waited. And waited. Almost an hour! When I asked, we were told that it would be another 8 minutes, but the food was brought out immediately after the question. Had it been sitting under the food lamps for 20-30 minutes or was I just a rude & impatient diner who should sit & shut up & take whatever food and attitude was hurled at me? We finished our meal. spoke with the "hostess" about our complaints and were told she would inform management. The manager had been at the service station behind us several times throughout the evening, but he was magically "not there" when we wanted to complain. So I complain to all of you! SKIP THIS PLACE.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent French Bistro at a surprisingly reasonable price
Excellent French Bistro at a surprisingly reasonable price point for London accompanied by a well curated wine list. Duck confit, steaks, Dover sole, etc. the menu has a wide variety of choices for just about any tastes. I'd easily recommend to friends.
Be the first to ReplyOne word to sum up the entire meal: delightful.
A cozy, romantic restaurant in the heart of Mayfair along a cobblestone path. While the menus we had were in French, there is an online version that is also in English.Every bite we had was scrumptious and the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, but slightly aloof. That didn't bother me at all.I appreciate the flattering dim lighting and how every seat in the restaurant makes you feel like you're alone with your guests at your table.I should add that the restaurant wasn't just packed with couples. I saw a table of six friends catching up for drinks and dinner. The cost for the meal was pretty reasonable in comparison to quality of the food and service. I definitely recommend a stop at Le Boudin Blanc, if you're in Mayfair one night.

Super cute place with delicious food! Perfect for a date night or a group dinner. Prices are reasonable. Everything tasted fresh and had lots of flavor. I will definitely be returning the next time I visit London. Nestled in a cute area with lots of other resturants. I highly recommend eating here. It's best to make a reservation beforehand.

I love Shepherds Market and Le Boudin Blanc has been at this corner for as long as I remember. So grateful to have friends who book the cosy private room for a beautiful celebratory dinner. We chose from a set menu and every item was simply delicious. The beetroots in the goats cheese salad was so delectable they outshone the main ingredient, the pork terrine was obviously home made and smelled and tasted delicious.I opted for the salmon main but also had a taste of the mushroom risotto (not a lame vegetarian option - wild mushrooms with a gentle hint of truffle oil). Lemon tart to finish off the meal and we all left happy ...
Be the first to ReplyFantastic restaurant.
Staff was incredibly helpful and generous with their portions. I would highly recommend this establishment. Particularly the French onion soup was amazing. The Manager Pierre was extremely professional.
Be the first to ReplyQuaint, historic restaurant.
The dishes authentic French cuisine. I had the steak tartare and hubby had the filet which was cooked to perfection (rare). Along with a Pinot noir from a very tiny estate, couldn't have asked for a better meal. The wait staff attentive, gracious and welcoming.
