Love this place for dinner but don't recommend it for brunch. The place is extremely beautiful with so much greenery. So far my favorite spot

Nice place - photos look better than the actual bar / restaurant itself. Not as impressive in person but that is not what I am writing this review about. My review is regarding the tiny Valet area where you drop off your vehicle as well as the deceitful ways and words of the Valets themselves upon arriving. Very inconvenient, tight driveway first of all. More importantly - I was specifically told (and I KNOW what I heard), that the cost of validated Valet parking would ultimately be $7.00. The Valet who took my vehicle initially put it in such a questionable way that I asked for clarification. His response was and I quote "Its 18 but with validation it comes to 7". Upon picking up my vehicle I was told that parking actually costs $25, and with validation it would be $18. That is not only highway ROBBERY but an extremely deceptive practice comparable to "bait and switch". I naturally had to pay what they demanded since they were holding my vehicle hostage. This is FRAUD and rest assured I will be reporting this place to the appropriate authorities.

What a beautiful space, well worth the journey just to sit in the bar and have a few drinks before dinner. Bread service excellent and can't beat the attentive service. Linguine with clams was great, the swordfish was cooked perfectly although lacked a little flavor. The warm burrata appetizer was also a hit. Dessert was the chocolate three ways and that is highly recommended. They also were spot on and brought out a slice of chocolate cake for my birthday. We will be back!

Beyond superb! The wait staff is phenomenal, the decor, lovely, and the food dele table. The tomato soup is like liquid sunshine. The truffle gnocchi has a truffle flavor, but there's nothing to balance or highlight the truffle flavor. They do not taste like fresh black truffles were used. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. The tiramisu was so decorative and has a great flavor.

My wife and I are pretty easy going and have never posted anything negative about restaurants or other establishments in the service industry. However last week we had an experience at Le Sirenuse that we feel we need to comment on. We had a reservation on March 5th which we made several weeks before. Around 3 pm that day after being inundated by the 24hr news about the cronavirus we started to feel uncomfortable about going out that evening. As compared to our home in Canada, the US at that point was woefully negligent in their response and particularly testing. We are 60+ and I have had pneumonia in the past. So we are part of the "at - risk" group. We felt that the restaurant location in a highly popular Four Seasons Hotel was the kind a place that the experts were suggesting that those at risk should avoid as the Hotel attracted many overseas travelers from all parts of the world. The restaurant accepted our reservation but refused to back down on the cancellation fee of$50. Quite pathetic as they still had 6 hrs to fill our 2 seats!!!Furthermore the showed a complete lack of empathy given the degree of concern that has been created . Whether our concern was appropriate or was overblown is not really relevant, the restaurant's response shows a high degree of arrogance and in our mind is pathetic. Maybe the food is good but by refusing to back off of the cancellation fee, we feelit is being prepared by people who work in an environment that exhibits disregard and callousness to their clientele.

Tucked away behind the hedges on Collins Ave is the Surf Club. We headed to the bar in the back. The drinks are creative -some a little too creative. The bartenders are engaging and educational. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning. Drinks are not cheap here but worth having at least once in your lifetime. Just to be able to sip a cocktail and soak in the room is worth it.
Be the first to ReplyThis is my second time dining here.
The first time it was okay, but since it was Thanksgiving, I decided to go back on an evening that was not a holiday! This was the worst meal I have ever had! OMG the food is pre made and microwaved, the appetizers were ok, the 2 main courses, we could not eat! The gnocchi with truffles tasted like dirty mushrooms and the Cacio and Pepe pasta was like glue! I think the waiters even know how bad the food is, because when they cleared our plates of the uneaten food,he did not say a word! The hostess at the front makes you wait for a table that's already available, the bar is beautiful and a great place to have a drink! Do Not Eat Here! I do recommend the restaurant next door, The surf club, the food is amazing and the service is impeccable!

We head to Le Sirenuse at the Four Seasons in the Surf Club for our final meal in Miami Beach. Known for its Mediterranean dishes using Italian farm-to-table produce, it excels at pasta, meats and seafood. And as expected, the service was world-class. The restaurant's dรฉcor is stunning with its vaulted ceiling, warm lighting and privacy. My only criticism was how close the tables are located to one another, especially when the restaurant was probably half full on a Monday night. Our two top was no more than three feet away from another occupied two top. The tasting menu was very affordable, versus a la carte ordering. We started with Carpaccio di Manzo, Rucola e Grana Padano and the La Caprese Calda (with warm Buffalo Mozzarella). For pasta, we order the Fagottello Genovese (with yummy Black Truffles) and the Gnocchi di Patate e Tartufo di Stagione (this time with Truffle sauce). For entrees, the Filetto al Camino con Fungo di Bosco (smoked filet with mushroom and blackberries on top) and the Costata di Maiale al Latte e Caponatina (a Kurobuta Pork Chop). For dessert, Traditional Tiramisu and Delizia al Limone (traditional Amalfi Coast Lemon Sponge Cake Delight). Every dish was beautifully plated, the pacing was perfect and every taste was so memorable. An exquisite dining destination for special occasions.

We stumbled across this place while walking along the beach on a long weekend in Miami. We were staying at the St. Regis, which has a great seafoood restaurant - if you like olives. Neither of us do. They make us gag. They put them in everything. We made a late reservation and came early for drinks - our server gave us her recommendations for dinner which we followed almost to a T. It was one of the best meals we had all year and we would only would have ordered maybe half of her dishes otherwise. We were so pleasantly surprised by the food, the ambience and the experience.
