Le Troquet Paris Reviews from The Last Year
Great lunch at midday!
Wonderful lunch with lentils soup, nicely prepared. My coqulle saint-jacque is wonderfully pan-seared crispy over potato mash: love it! The creamy penna cotta dessert is also very well done. Ambience is something very classic Parisienne! Service is prompted, friendly and attentive, even tho it is a one-waiter serving the whole floor. I had a great lunch here, and would be bsck next trip
Good value for money
Formula at 38euro, starter, main course, dessert. Good value for money. Too bad the wild boar stew wasn't seasoned enough.
An authentic restaurant serving generous seasonal cuisine.
Beautiful table as I like them. Generous with seasonal dishes, good wines by the glass, an atmosphere of regulars. Perfect semi-cooked foie gras as a starter and mallard gratin dauphinois to follow. All washed down with a good quality Bordeaux Médoc of the moment, all for a very reasonable price. A beautiful address in Paris.
Don’t miss Le Troquet!
We spent a very pleasant evening with our friends (table of 8). The service and atmosphere were “top” and very welcoming. The starters, main courses and desserts were all of superior quality and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
