Leo Brooklyn Reviews from The Last Year
This is the best pizza in nyc.
The tomato sauce tastes like the best tomatoes freshly cooked. The crust is thin to medium. Always perfect. Yes.

Great food and drink in a casual local spot with attentive service. Recommend the happy hour if you can, drinks and appetizers are the same price and quality. Salads and fantastic and not overdressed. Pizza crust is perfect and not floppy. Pasta full of flavor and tiramisu is great.

This pizza spot doesn't stand out as a 5 star experience but after sitting down to a fantastic dinner I have fully changed my mind. Every bite of food from the asparagus appetizer to the sourdough pizza to the fantastic tiramisu desert was absolutely 10/10 and I am shocked at how it superseded expectations. Definitely come here, definitely enjoy the pizza, and the wine I got was a nice fruity, full bodied red if you want to copy that too!

The pizza was so good! We also split the bolognese which was good, but came out cold. The chopped salad was very different, but so good! When I asked for a second glass of Sauvignon blanc, my glass was refilled with one of the orange wines, but it was good so I didn't really mind.
Exactly what I expected in the heart of Williamsburg.
Leo's a lively hub for any type of gathering. They offer great foods, great drinks and a great atmosphere. The staff there is impeccable. I have nothing but praise and please keep doing what you're doing.

This place was recommended by a friend and we loved their Pizza squares. Ordered them for a birthday party. Their margherita and Papa Madre(potato) pizza squares, Both were great!! Their Hill pie is good too. All pies and squares are good for a group. Squares are defo bigger then pies. Would defo order or take out from here again.

Leo is absolutely delightful! This East Williamsburg gem has spacious seating, wonderful staff, and incredible food. It was such a positive experience from the moment I walked in the door! Some highlights were the steak and the NY Slice Pie. The atmosphere and vibes were extremely pleasant, and I cannot wait for my next visit!
When your wine list is 30X larger than your dinner menu,
When your wine list is 30X larger than your dinner menu, there's going to be some issues. Selling sancerre by the bottle while having three options for pasta, one of them spaghetti, is pretty disappointing as a guest. Our waiter, who had to have us point at which wines we wanted not even seemingly familiar with the list, seemed to want to rush us on a Monday night continually checking if I wanted to order more and I found myself irritated because i'm a slow eater and it was my friend's birthday and wanted to enjoy the meal but sadly couldn't. The pizza was okay, but nothing special especially for williambsurg. The oysters were alright. Even though we had a reservation for three we were sat at a table only big enough for two and were, of course, crammed in next to all the other tables. This was certainly the worst dining experience I've had in the city for a very long while. Will not be revisiting.
Overall the food was fine, service had a lot of bumps.
Ops impressed me more in the pizza realm. Restaurant was comfortably full (not packed by any means, but not empty). Decor is nice and the space feels spacious enough with natural light throughout. Service just seemed off for whatever reason. Firstly, never received our starter for the table (was removed from the bill without issue). Skip the espresso martini, it was not good sadly. Main dishes came out so sporadically, everyone at our table was eating at completely different paces so their food wouldnt get cold. First came the 2 burgers, then somewhere between 5-10 minutes later the next dish came out: 1 pancake. Another 10 mins passed until the final 3 pies arrived. No idea what happened there, but our server was apologetic and offered us free dessert. Pizza was generally good, nothing mind-blowing - we ordered the Margherita, Clam pie, and The Hill. The more topping-heavy pizza (The Hill) was a bit floppy/soggy at the center, and IMO went a bit overboard with the arugula. Pancake was perfect. Would give Leo another try, as our server was very kind and apologetic, but not necessarily rushing to return.
The best pizza in nyc and Thats saying a lot.
Great staff & service. Beautiful place and crazy good thin crust pizza. Restaurant owners go here just to see how it's done right.
loved this little spot.
yummy foods & wine and it was the perfect kinda busy for a sunday night. It was sexy & cool. double check on the caesar salad with mounds of parmesan and our awesome waiter! *chefs kiss*
Phenomenal (very late) brunch.
Saturday at 1pm and we got seated as a party of two right away - though it was tight between tables (not much elbow room but hey it's valuable real estate). Absolutely the best pancake I've had in ny. Can't bump this down to a 4 even tho the coffee is meh and the seating is cramped - the food is too good
Quite possibly the best pizza I've had in NYC! The NY pie
Quite possibly the best pizza I've had in NYC! The NY pie was out of this world. So flavorful and filling. Also the pancake - the best I've had in NYC as well. Definitely a spot for brunch you don't want to miss.

I have a notice stating that my bid has been accepted and is awaiting transfer. The reservation is for the 18th, but the “moderator” said he will confirm booking by the 28th. Is this an indicator that I may not have a reservation?

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
