My wife and I had lunch at Les Saisons, a high-class French restaurant located on the mezzanine floor of the Imperial Hotel in Hibiya. The restaurant exuded a sense of luxury from its interior design and the staff's sophisticated attire and behavior. The course we reserved online in advance was the ``4 PLATS lunch course of appetizer, fish, meat, and dessert @13,000 yen (tax and service charge included).'' The dishes we received are below. ・Crab and cream amuse ・Trout, white asparagus, and yuzu mousse ・Grilled mackerel topped with cherry blossom leaves ・Roasted lamb with bone, clam and seaweed salad ・Dessert Baba with rum ・Coffee with many sweets All dishes were delicious and the presentation was great. Spring was also expressed in all the dishes. One dish that had cherry blossom leaves wrapped around the mackerel, similar to sakuramochi, was unique. For the two of us, we had 3 glasses of champagne and 1 glass of white wine. It was approximately 3,300 yen to 4,000 yen/glass. The crisp Billecart blanc de blancs and white wine from Burgundy's Savigny-les-Beaune with flavors of peach and honey were especially delicious. The lamb wasn't too heavy, so a heavier white wine would have gone well with it. The service was exquisite. Everyone treated me with a good sense of distance. I felt like the team took care of our table and I was happy. Also, when we ran out of bread and butter, they immediately asked us if we needed more. The bread was so delicious that I ate about 4 pieces. We also received gas-filled water. The total cost for two people was about 42K yen (tax and service included). I was able to spend a very luxurious time. Thank you very much to everyone at Les Saisons.
